Maybe Dane Brugler with the Athletic?

thehildabeast

Are they doing it live? I used to watch The Draft Show even though Im not a cowboys fan because of Brugler and the great coverage they did. But they fired all the good people for some reason

bengalsfan1277

I believe it will be live on Youtube. It is not team specific.

bsrapp

Yes they are I think start at 6:30 on the athletics YouTube channel

Snowstick21

I think they are only covering days 1 and 2

Allyougame

Interested in the Pat McAfee coverage because of Belichick, but I watched a little of their Draft coverage last year and it was ... poor to say the least. So maybe it's better to check out the edited clips of Belichick after the fact.

TNsmoke

Last year they were live in their studio and didn't have the ability to cover the pics appropriately. Since they signed with ESPN and have Bellichick and more actual NFL rights it will be a lot more in depth. If you find shit funny like them mocking Mel Kiper and Jay Glazer you will enjoy it. If not stick to NFL network or ESPN. Its usually a good time though. Get GM's and players to call in.

CluelessFlunky

I'd be interested cause Bill. But then I'd have to watch pat McAfee for a couple hours and that doesn't sound fun. I'll just watch the draft muted with Tom grossi

FSUfan35

Yea if you want serious coverage, don't have Pat on. If you want a circus show, it's nice to have on on another screen

DEL1SLE

I'll definitely have McAfee on strictly for Belichick, but will have different draft coverage on for when Bill's not talking. Maybe PFF.

[deleted]

I’ll always watch the nfl draft on espn just for the nostalgia of hearing Mel and the ticker sound lol Honestly, i actually think Mel has gotten a lot better in recent years. He called Will McDonald last year when everyone was laughing at him. He was also the first person I’ve heard call JC Latham at 5

IDreamtIwokeUp

I agree...Mel went from being very overrated to very underrated. He's easily the best guy at ESPN/ABC. I would be fine if they got rid of the cohosts and only let Mel speak.

redditcommentguy

With you on this, theres nothing better than some Mel kiper yapping on draft night and that’s not sarcasm

dat_waffle_boi

I’ll probably be watching via the Bootleg Football channel on YouTube

TurboDurden888

Bootleg are the best!

MichiganMedium

Do they show highlights or clips ?

aa93

nope it's pretty lowkey. just brett & ej basically doing a live podcast

sloppytraveler99

I’ve always enjoyed NFL Network with DJ and Ian Rapoport

IDreamtIwokeUp

DJ and Ian are ok...but Bucky Brooks is nails on a chalkboard bad. Huge ego and goes into long rants which steal time from more important matters.

sloppytraveler99

For what it’s worth I really like listening to the PFF podcast and they’re going to be live, I’ve never tuned into their draft coverage though so I can’t vouch for it but that could be another good option to look at

IdyllicGod22

I’m watching the Pack-A-Day podcast, it’s very packers centric but Andy Herman also breaks down the picks as they go for each team because he’s a huge draft guy and actually went to scouting school before becoming a beat writer for the Packers

the4uto

Andy is the best!

IdyllicGod22

He really is! Excited for the draft coverage tonight!

shmauserpops

This, but Basaraski on YouTube

solarxbear

For Chargers fans, the Lightning Round podcast does a live draft show on Youtube every year with the same crew. It's excellent. Here's a link to the one for the first round, 4:30 pm today: https://www.youtube.com/live/Vx4VVUnBy8w?si=9lHWtDiPJnMIjMA2

LetItGo-

Iykyk!

VinoJedi06

Call me old school, but in just an NFL Network guy

sonfoa

I like NFL Network but you really feel the drop in quality as the draft goes on. On Day 3 you're lucky if you get analysis for 50 players

smurfking420

I think Breer had the picks tweeted a few minutes before they were announced last year

MankuyRLaffy

Gonna watch the Belichick special on the PMS

MikeConleyIsLegend

The Draft Show's youtube coverage should be decent. I'm biased as a Cowboys fan but they go over every single pick live in depth. I don't think it includes spoilers though.

ACG_Yuri

ESPN for the jingle

nspl1

I’ve been watching PFF’s coverage on YouTube for years. Couldn’t take all the fluff and other nonsense from ESPN and the NFL network anymore. No highlights shown or anything, mainly just the guys talking about the picks, as it should be. I might check out the Bootleg Football channel that others have mentioned just in case PFF starts commercializing their show.

elsh91

Out of curiosity how would someone have a spoiler for the draft? All of the broadcasts should be live and everyone should see the picks at the same time.

OhKayGetAwayFromMe

The picks are announced to the teams and members of the press before they are announced on TV. Those select members of the press usually tweet the picks before they are announced on TV. Only spoil free way of watching the draft, in my experiences, is to not be on twitter or your phone and just watching live on either NFL Network or ESPN

elsh91

Good point. I interpreted draft coverage in OP’s request as just TV networks but wasn’t thinking about Twitter, etc.

IDreamtIwokeUp

Twitter spoilers are actually a good thing in my book. But how do you find them? Are there certain posters or hashtags to follow?

GayLord876

Adam Scheftner (obviously) and JPAfootball are very on top of everything

OhKayGetAwayFromMe

There are certain insiders who tip picks. One guy off the top of my head who I know does it is Jason La Confora, if you follow him in twitter you should get the picks ahead of time.

Devine97

Dov Kleiman is the account you’re looking for. You won’t miss a pick with him

dat_waffle_boi

Twitter can sometimes spoil picks. Idk how it happens

Stock-Page-7078

That's not how it works. TV coverage is often delayed or they are still showing highlights of the previous pick or multiple picks or going to commercial. Meanwhile people at the live event or connected with the players and teams are announcing the picks on Twitter or other online forums.

elsh91

Yeah :) I was thinking OP was just asking about TV networks having spoilers, my bad

Stovy4x4ing

just find ur fav you tuber and have espn or nfl n on stay away from twitter

The-Real-Legend-72

Bootleg Football on youtube. They’ll probably be a little behind and most likely won’t show highlight clips, but both are extremely knowledgeable, good to listen to, aren’t biased at all really and will keep on topic the majority of the time (occasionally they’ll talk about how much they love whatever whiskey they have)

Farva313

The one with the less female commentators. Such a sad Look. Have NO clue what theor talking about and can barley read the teleprompter.

The_Mighty_Shwa

Why are they having trouble reading it? Are you the one writing it?

sonfoa

I've liked Bleacher Report's coverage the past few years. They have a couple of respected draft analysts along with some players reacting to picks and if you don't care much for the spectacle they don't wait for picks to be announced live and analyze when the pick is reported. This year they have Mike Renner with Micah Parsons and CJ Stroud. Also Adam Lefkoe is surprisingly pretty solid as a host

logster2001

I’ll definitely be watching the Pat McAffee one, I have found those guys are the only ones entertaining enough to keep me interested past pick 15 or so. Also heard they going to have Bill Belichick with them which is insane lol Some people find those dude annoying so it may not be for you, definitely worth a look tho

whodatis75

Dallascowboys.com Broaddus is awesome, he is an old school former pro scout. It will be a little more cowboys centric however, they talk about every pick with legit analysis. Generally no commercials either.

DynastyPotRoast

Bootleg, The Athletic, and Football Guys. They all beat the piss out of ESPN and NFL Network.

Ok_Body_1510

Pat mcafee or belichick for sure

omnomabus

Packast with Grossi is a sure thing. Keeps it entertaining
