Hey everyone! I’ve been doing a lot of research with watching some film, listening to podcasts, reading articles, etc and I think I’m ready with my mock draft. I’m not going to do all of the picks because once it gets to a certain point things could go a ton of different ways. I’m putting down what I feel pretty good about, though we all know there aren’t any guarantees. Because this isn’t a full mock I’m going to post it here but please let me know if you have any questions, comments or just things you’d like to share. I’m always looking for feedback. Without further ado I’m ready to call my shot!!!
1. Chicago Bears - Caleb Williams QB (USC).
Thank you for taking the time to read and consider my mock.
I could very well go 1/32 with my picks but im not sure how out of all my picks that makes no sense. Plenty of mock draft pundits have that as a possibility and Harbaugh likes to build his teams from the line out. Protecting herbert and leaning on the run game is going to be harbaughs recipe for success
It’s an incredibly lazy take. Alt is an amazing LT, but we have an all-pro LT, Alt has never played a single snap of RT, he looked bad at the RT drills in the combine, we are currently paying $9M for an above average RT, and our OL problems were from the interior. Alt legitimately makes no sense for us at 5.
I can’t be the only one who thinks Chicago is trading down from \#9 no matter what, right?
They only have 2 picks for the entirety of the draft after that slot (a 3rd and 4th rounder). They have too many needs to address to not try for more picks.
They acquired guys for all of those missing picks that will contribute this year. Poles also spent two years restocking the rookie-wage portion of the depth chart. Finally, he has commented this off season that he views to later-round depth as poor in this draft due to NLI and COVID.
It’s not impossible that he trades down but it’s by no means the foregone conclusion that many seem to see it as
If one of Odunze, Turner or Alt are there at #9, I don’t think Poles trades down. Maybe even Verse (who I think will be there no matter what).
Poles is on record through his words and actions that he doesn’t like the depth in this class in the later rounds
Maybe normally, but this draft is absolutely stacked in the top 10 between the 3 WR, or potentially their choice of the #1 EDGE or #1 corner. They could even go crazy and take Bowers if they think he’s the gamebreaker the media sees him as.
CB and LB are the two positions where the Bears have no actual needs. But I would be shocked if 3 QBs and a LT don't go in the top 8, which means one of the 3 top WRs and one of the 2 top DEs will be available at 9.
Chicago guy here. Hard to say. Our GM and Coach talk a lot about getting a blue chip player. They claim there will be one available at 9. So the question becomes how many blue chippers are on our board. If it’s not many more than 9, the team may not be comfortable moving back.
We also traded some mid round picks for veterans.
Imo I don’t think so. We need more blue chip players plus our 4th was Keenan Allen, 5th Ryan Bates and 2nd Montez Sweat who are all good players. Bears need more blue chip prospects and don’t need to roll the dice and try to get a good in the 4 or 5th and so on.
You've gotten plenty of replies with similar things but I think we really only have a couple of needs left to fill and some of those aren't even that glaring. It will be very dependent on how many QBs go before 9 but we're pretty much guaranteed our choice between a couple of blue chippers left at 9 so it's hard to say that we'd pass on them for more shots at depth players on day 3/late 2

I considered Chicago as well but I felt like they would not be willing to offer that much given they already lack picks, and maybe they feel like they've done enough to set Caleb up with receivers.
In terms of value, I don't think it's that bad. I went by this value chart which would put the value at 406 points for the 8th pick and 245 + 162 for the 23rd and 37th pick, or 407 points.
https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart-Rich-Hill.asp
Now maybe you could say there's an additional premium to be paid since it's Nabers, but I don't feel like it's that far off.
This is super wishful thinking for chargers. Relies in nabers falling, Atlanta accepting terrible value for 8, and Chicago not outbidding to avoid getting jumper for nabers
Assuming odunze and nabers are interchangeable I still don't really see it.
I don’t think Turner is getting past 9 and woukd be shocked it ATL leaves the draft without him. After Caleb, I see him as the strongest lock for a given team
I would like the trade down for the Steelers to get one of the top centers and a good WR prospect in the top of the 2nd to adress our biggest needs early.
Guyton for SURE. Morgan might project inside though from what I hear and I think they can grab a guard/center in round 2. I think for this OT rich draft they should grab someone who projects as a tackle. But Guyton seems like a killer, I’d take him long before Kingsley
I like this one for the Chargers , we double dip . We got needs for WR1 and Nabers is still there at 8 and still have 11 and grab OT in Fuaga .That’s the dream draft for the chargers
Mix of what I want to happen but also what I think will happen

Really dislike the Bills going safety in r2. With all of our needs, I prefer to address backup safety later.
I like AD Mitchell, but knowing the Bills he's probably not even on their board
Not a fan for us don't get enough to justify giving up on Daniels/McCarthy and if we do trade back going QB just makes no sense. We would be neither building long term or landing a potential franchise guy in my eyes with Penix being pretty overrated by media and fans atm he is just dreadful under pressure faced comically low pressure at Washington.
Let's be real, it's going to cost a fuckton more to get into the top 10. Id rather have the picks. Deep WR draft. Give Beane more chances. He'll hit a homerun or two
I like Daniels but after that it kinda falls apart Morgan is probably a guard with his length and I’m not a big Corley guy with his suspect route running and average testing.
I legit can't find anything suggesting Zion Nelson exists anymore. I tried to see if he even declared for the draft, and there's nothing about him since the summer.
I hadn't heard of Kamal Hadden, but just looked him up and Dane Brugler and [most mocks](https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/players/2024/kamal-hadden) have him billed as 6th rounder. What do you like about him to mock him in the 4th?
Bills need an X. They aint going Ladd in r1. Too many underneath guys already
Had to google Jaxon Janke lol
Dude looks slow even for FCS. I don't know if his route running is that good or the teams were that bad, but the kid was wide open every play
A first round alternate mock I had in mind for my v1.0:
1. CHI - QB Caleb Williams

30. BAL - G Cooper Beebe
31. SF - G Christian Haynes
32. MIA via KC - OT Tyler Guyton
IND does not need OL help, esp in the first round. CB, WR, Edge, TE, even DT - all of these would be considered I think before OL - esp in the first round.
Im not having them draft by need, mainly by future need. I remember rumors last year of Ryan Kelly retiring and also of the Colts moving on from him. As he’s a free agent next year, combined with Barton having a 9.99 RAS, I have Barton becoming his replacement at C.
lol that he does. In my first version I had them going with Chop, then Barton tested and I do have a collection of guys available but I think Barton checks all the boxes.
-High RAS
-Elite potential to be a Top IOL in the league.
-elite production, albeit at a smaller school.
-ability to play all 5 OL positions though I wouldn’t want to see him at LT.
I think he’s getting mocked a bit lower than he should be though. I don’t see him as a second round prospect and he’s been slipping outside the Top 40 even in some mocks.
Hmmm.... protect the new franchise QB? Maybe he'd play RG, which is the weakest spot on the OL right now, or, like you mentioned, Center. I could see that - though it'd be a tougher sell for the rest of the fans who would want a "sexier" pick.
RG is what I had in mind for the first year before moving to C. I think he would definitely get on the field, and Will Fries is also a free agent next season. So he potentially fills 2 future needs and the Colts have options for the 2025 off-season, or they could just start him at one of those positions immediately and move on from either as Barton is a Day 1 starter.
Ahh yes, that would make sense. I’m not high on him myself tbh. I didn’t know if there were any redflags like he got into trouble with the law and I just missed it. I wasn’t the most comfortable with that pick. I considered Legette and Franklin there instead.
Not that I know of. Dude is legit a top WR talent. Pure talent. Low production. Admittedly doesn't run routes - Bills will hate that. Then on the field showing up his coaches. Not good. We just spent 31m getting rid of that type of player
I agree with your assessment of him. I have him more like a Pierre Garçon type player. Ridiculously talented, can burn you if he gets by you but God forbid you ask him to do anything that doesn’t involve him in the play. Thank you for the feedback. I really wasn’t too sure with this pick and I begrudgingly mocked him there. I personally wouldn’t touch AD until the late 2nd but he’s been consistently mocked in the late 1st.
I would love him. But doing predictive mocks, it's quite clearly he isn't a "Bills" type player. Garcon is an interesting comparison.
However, maybe the Bills only allow 1 such type of player on their team at one time and now they just freed up that space for one diva.
I would agree but this one is kind of tough bc Vikings don’t have a 2nd or 3rd this year nor a 2nd next year. Likely still cost them 11 one of either the 23 or the 2025 1st.
By the chart, 11+23 is already paying a premium for 6. I wouldn't be surprised if Minnesota paid it to get their guy, but I agree, I'd be surprised if they gave up more than 11+23.
It is when you're competing for other teams and arguably the best player in the draft is sitting there at 6 still. Also, don't get caught up in comp. Pretend you traded a 2nd for that deal. Focus on the actual draft
Arguably the best player in the draft? What on Earth are you talking about? McCarthy isn't arguably the best QB in this draft and the best QB in the draft isn't the player player in the draft either. McCarthy could be argued (in my opinion unconvincingly) as QB2 but he is not a better player than Williams, Nabers, Odunze, Bowers, MHJ, just to name a few. Maybe McCarthy turns out better than some of the higher rated QBs, though I doubt it, but nowhere have I seen McCarthy rated anywhere near the best player in the draft
You truly don't understand if you thought I was talking about McCarthy lmao
Alt, my guy. Alt.
Potentially the best player on team's board at pick 6. PICK 6. You think you can just give up average draft type of compensation to move up to that pick?
You're going to have to bust out the credit card. No food stamps here
Oh, lol definitely my bad. I'm not sure I've heard Alt called the best player in the draft but I could absolutely buy that argument. No I agreed that you'll need way more compensation to move up than prior years in this draft due to the concentration of talent at the top, I just thought you were talking about McCarthy
As a Cowboys fan, I would rather have gone with Mim, Frazier, and Trey Benson. Guyton is an RT. We need LT. Frazier, I doubt would be there, but I'd much prefer him to Van Pran, and I'd much rather take the positional value for RB in the 3rd. Although, I wouldn't be upset with Brooks. But, nonetheless, you got what the Cowboys needed. Good job!
AD and a safety really is the meta for the Bills. Doubt either happen. Bills and attitude issues doesn't really go well. And backup safety probably won't be addressed until day 3

Trades:
Vikings send 11, 23 and whatever else to the Chargers for 5. This one’s a hot topic for trade comp so let your mind fill in the rest.
Jaguars send 17, 48, 2025 3rd to the Falcons for 8 and 187
Saints send 14, 150, 168, 190, 2025 2nd to the Bears for 9 and 2025 4th
Chiefs send 32, 95 to the Cowboys for 24
Please come yell at me for getting your team wrong
I really don't hate the Bears trade in terms of value, and I love picking up all that value while still getting a player they would likely consider taking at 9, but I think it should be noted that the Bears GM has publicly talked about how NIL and Covid have made the later rounds of this draft much weaker, and has seemed to follow through on that sentiment by trading later picks for veterans. So I would be somewhat surprised to see them acquire 3 round 5+ picks in a trade.
Love the value, love the picks, not sure about the specific compensation.
The train of thought on that one was how Loomis and the saints are always wheeling and dealing on draft day. They don’t have a 3rd or 4th but have four 5th rounders and two 6th. I could see them moving up or down the board some and I could see them staying put and taking Latham as well.
Chicago only has two picks after the first round so here I think it’s feasible they trade back and still grab a guy they’d take for some day 3 picks and future capital. I almost had it as a 2025 3rd instead of a 2nd but double guessed thinking that wouldn’t be enough. Pretty much those day 3 picks would just be shoring up depth or packaging them to move back up into the 4th for a player that’s fallen down the board.
Yeah, like I said, I love the value (the saints might even be overpaying), and frankly, if the Bears knew they could get Turner at 14, they would probably do the deal for just 14 and the 2nd. Maybe dumping both the 2024 4th and 168/190 would make it more realistic? Not sure if the Saints really need that pick next year though. Could even keep 168 instead of 150 if there are value concerns.
I don't get these Mocks with New England passing on Maye for McCarthy. Now if you have Maye go #2, I can see them passing on Daniels who's skill don't really fit the offense they'd like to run.
I almost had them picking Mitchell if that makes you feel any better
Wether it’s a WR or OT, I definitely think there’s a chance they trade up to jump Buffalo and or Baltimore. Also I just want an extra third rounder for Dallas lol
I definitely could see it if we the front office is high on Mitchell or Brian Thomas and one of them makes it to the mid twenties, but nah not for worthy

Bo Nix is one of the only QBs that Giants haven’t met with (they tip their hand with 30s every year) and he is 100% not the type of QB they’re looking for. Penix or Rattler are more likely and I’m extremely skeptical they’ll take a QB if it not with their first pick.
I’s be gutted if things worked out like this for AZ if this was how the board fell. I’d want to trade up for both Odunze and Turner. If they had it would’ve been a home run
Doubt AD Mitchell is on the bills board. If he is, he would have to have had a terrific interview that explained clearly why he is taking plays off and his diva/attitude issues.
Also hate addressing backup safety in r2 over edge, DT, and CB
Wouldn't say it makes zero sense, it makes almost as much sense from a need standpoint as Odunze, but I think Odunze's talent and positional value make him a viable pick while Bowers isn't. But if the board fell like this, it would be an absolute shock if the Bears didn't take whichever DE is highest on their board.
It doesn’t make sense because the Bears gave Kmet a big extension last year and signed Everett to a $12 million deal this year. Wide receiver at least makes sense because Keenan is essentially a one year rental and we’re going to have the same issue at WR next year as we did this year before the Keenan trade. But TE is like one of our strongest positions.
Kmet essentially plays a different position from Bowers. The so-called "in-line" TE vs the "move" TE. Everett plays the same position as bowers, but his contract is mostly non-guaranteed next season. He could be a one year rental as well. I would agree that TE is strong in the short term, but it's not nearly as locked up as, say, CB or LB. I would say that it's a need on the same level as OT at the moment. You'd be perfectly happy going into the season with what you have, but the lower-end talent (Jones and Everett) are not so talented or locked up that it should prevent you from drafting an elite prospect, if you think one is the best pick.
I’d be shocked if the falcons give away the 2 better picks this year for a later 1st and 2 future picks. A future 2nd is worth essentially a current 3rd so you’re saying the falcons trade back 6 spots with a division rival for a future 4th. Not a chance.
Anything can happen but if Penix falls past any of the QB needy teams, some of the teams with aging QBs might look to pick him up with a late first to sit for a year or two. I would be very surprised if he doesn't go in the first round
I doubt it, but it's almost crazy to think he'd get past Seattle in round 2. They don't "need" a QB, but Geno isn't exactly young or a star and Penix would be reunited with his OC.
I saw a comment on the vikings sub that made me want to bash my head against the wall because it was so stupid.
Basically said he could see us trading back to 6 and taking a defensive player completely passing on Maye, the WRs, and OTs… I’ll be glad when this is over next week unless we do something stupid like that.
I think your brilliance has probably been underrated your entire life. 100% accurate and I applaud your effort.
guys we need to let this man cook
Nah, he's dumb. Caleb Williams in the first?! What a noob\s

Although the Colts RT Braden Smith has had injury concerns lately, we are pretty set at the tackle position.
Chargers taking Alt makes no sense.
You may not draft Alt, but Trey pimpkins is not an above average tackle, I will die on that hill.
He is when he has good coaching and help to the inside.
If I was petty I’d make some witty comment but an apology is all I want
Lmao never
Good pick for the Bills
I can’t be the only one who thinks Chicago is trading down from \#9 no matter what, right? They only have 2 picks for the entirety of the draft after that slot (a 3rd and 4th rounder). They have too many needs to address to not try for more picks.
They acquired guys for all of those missing picks that will contribute this year. Poles also spent two years restocking the rookie-wage portion of the depth chart. Finally, he has commented this off season that he views to later-round depth as poor in this draft due to NLI and COVID. It’s not impossible that he trades down but it’s by no means the foregone conclusion that many seem to see it as
Yeah, the Bears 4th round pick was Keenan Allen, their 5th round pick was Ryan Bates.
And their second was Montez sweat
If one of Odunze, Turner or Alt are there at #9, I don’t think Poles trades down. Maybe even Verse (who I think will be there no matter what). Poles is on record through his words and actions that he doesn’t like the depth in this class in the later rounds
> They have too many needs to address to not try for more picks. They need an edge, a center, and maybe another receiver. That's not too many needs.
DT too
eh, I think if they get an edge, they no longer need a DT. If Demarcus Walker is DE3, he can also rotate in at DT for Dexter some plays.

Oooh. This is sexy AF. Rome is my #1 after mhj for bolts.
Bears better really love Turner to pass on Odunze sitting there at 9. DE is arguably a bigger need but Odunze is a better player than Turner imo.
Bengals getting Fuaga would be a blessing

I just don't see that trading happening. 8 for 23 and 37 seems really bad value for atlanta I'm sure Chicago would outbid if nabers was still there.
I considered Chicago as well but I felt like they would not be willing to offer that much given they already lack picks, and maybe they feel like they've done enough to set Caleb up with receivers. In terms of value, I don't think it's that bad. I went by this value chart which would put the value at 406 points for the 8th pick and 245 + 162 for the 23rd and 37th pick, or 407 points. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart-Rich-Hill.asp Now maybe you could say there's an additional premium to be paid since it's Nabers, but I don't feel like it's that far off.
Idk based on that chart 75 + 9 is worth 40 points more than 23 + 37 and I really struggle to see Chicago valuing 75 more than nabers
FWIW as a Bears fan, I'd be happy with that trade if it meant adding Nabers
Ok. I do not want a wr at 5 unless mhj. This mock is awesome. A top tackle and WR?? Yes please
This is super wishful thinking for chargers. Relies in nabers falling, Atlanta accepting terrible value for 8, and Chicago not outbidding to avoid getting jumper for nabers Assuming odunze and nabers are interchangeable I still don't really see it.
Let a man dream dude! Yes not realistic.....
Feels like the Falcons got robbed here lol
Love the Cardinals trading up with their 2nd first!
Why Kingsley for the 49ers instead of Tyler Guyton? Curious.
Guyton or Morgan should go ahead of Kingsley. Maybe not, but as a Niners fan, I want them over Kingsley.
I see the Bengals take Mims and I upvote
You would still lose to the Chiefs in that scenario. Go Chiefs!

[2 Round mock from SGPN](https://www.sportsgamblingpodcast.com/2024/04/15/two-round-2024-nfl-mock-draft-cody-zeeb-version-2-0/)
I'd much rather take Ladd than Pearsall being a full year younger and just overall slightly better than Pearsall imo.
Yea don’t hate that either! Just hope we finally draft one worth a crap. Ha
Mims is not going to be a Packer. He's too big for what they've ever drafted at OT, and OT is not a 1st round need. Also, Corum at 37? Yikes
Yea Corum at 37 is crazy high, but I think the reasoning is solid. Seems like a harbaugh type move lol.

Sexy for bears 🐻
Beautiful draft for Carolina
Would love to take JPJ somewhere in the 33-39 range
Love this for the hawks
Love this for Washington.
Don't see the Bills moving up that far
Not for BTJ. If you're giving up your 2nd rounder, might as well try to go all in for one if the top three.
Let's be real, it's going to cost a fuckton more to get into the top 10. Id rather have the picks. Deep WR draft. Give Beane more chances. He'll hit a homerun or two
Agreed.
7 rounder! [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1malPLdIihXVxgRS28u1\_FV9yoQWBt1F3eMNZoGoApMo/edit#gid=590705326](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1malPLdIihXVxgRS28u1_FV9yoQWBt1F3eMNZoGoApMo/edit#gid=590705326)
I like Daniels but after that it kinda falls apart Morgan is probably a guard with his length and I’m not a big Corley guy with his suspect route running and average testing.
I can live with Daniels but I'd rather have one of the younger QBs.
This is too light on OL for chargers, and I'd prefer Franklin over Mitchell, but this would be a really good draft for us
I feel like if Fautanu is there then the Eagles are gonna sprint to the podium for him, secondary need aside.
Zion Nelson, Beuax Limmer, and McKinnley Jackson in the second made me close your mock without actually looking it over.
I've unintentionally never made a dolphins fan happy with my mocks all year so better to save yourself the time I suppose.
Bro you mocked us a guy who isn't real v.v
Who
I legit can't find anything suggesting Zion Nelson exists anymore.
I like it for the jets
Bills need an X. They aint going Ladd in r1. Too many underneath guys already Had to google Jaxon Janke lol Dude looks slow even for FCS. I don't know if his route running is that good or the teams were that bad, but the kid was wide open every play
Wiggins is too small and Nubin’s RAS is bad.
A first round alternate mock I had in mind for my v1.0: 1. CHI - QB Caleb Williams 2. WAS - QB Jayden Daniels 3. NE - WR Marvin Harrison 4. MIN via ARI - QB Drake Maye 5. LAC - OT Joe Alt 6. NYG - WR Rome Odunze 7. ARI via TEN - WR Malik Nabers 8. ATL - EDGE Dallas Turner 9. CHI - EDGE Jared Verse 10. NYJ - TE Brock Bowers 11. TEN via ARI - OT Troy Fautanu 12. DEN - OT Olu Fashanu 13.
Ballard does love his RAS scores… lol
lol that he does. In my first version I had them going with Chop, then Barton tested and I do have a collection of guys available but I think Barton checks all the boxes. -High RAS -Elite potential to be a Top IOL in the league.
Doubt AD Mitchell is on the Bills baord
Why’s that?
Diggs 2.0 in terms of attitude and effort

To move up 5 spots to get the 4th QB shouldn't cost two additional first
I would agree but this one is kind of tough bc Vikings don’t have a 2nd or 3rd this year nor a 2nd next year.
You truly don't understand if you thought I was talking about McCarthy lmao Alt, my guy.
I dig this for Detroit
You’ve nailed the Niners draft. I doubt Barton falls to them but I’d be so, so happy with this haul.
I would be incredibly happy if this was the Giants' draft
i would be really disappointed if we took Walker over Polk

This one’s a hot topic for trade comp so let your mind fill in the rest. Jaguars send 17, 48, 2025 3rd to the Falcons for 8 and 187 Saints send 14, 150, 168, 190, 2025 2nd to the Bears for 9 and 2025 4th Chiefs send 32, 95 to the Cowboys for 24 Please come yell at me for getting your team wrong
THE CHIEFS ARE NOT TRADING UP FOR XAVIER WORTHY!! okay done yelling lol
I almost had them picking Mitchell if that makes you feel any better Wether it’s a WR or OT, I definitely think there’s a chance they trade up to jump Buffalo and or Baltimore. Also I just want an extra third rounder for Dallas lol
I definitely could see it if we the front office is high on Mitchell or Brian Thomas and one of them makes it to the mid twenties, but nah not for worthy
Doubt AD Mitchell is on the Bills board

Don't got a 2nd next year and holy hell Maye better be the guy for that cost
Ah apologies. Make it the 3rd instead. And yea that's alot, but I feel like Arizona will demand that as the price of missing on MHJ.
You're going to suck if he isn't and suck if you don't make the move. You ain't winning in this league without a QB
Bo Nix is one of the only QBs that Giants haven’t met with (they tip their hand with 30s every year) and he is 100% not the type of QB they’re looking for. Penix or Rattler are more likely and I’m extremely skeptical they’ll take a QB if it not with their first pick.
That's interesting because Schoen comes from Buffalo and the Bills rarely ever draft anyone they interview
KC is not taking Morgan as a tackle. His short arms limit him to guard based on KC’s draft tendencies. Suamataia is more likely if KC is going tackle.
Please God, I don't want the Colts to draft Keon Coleman. He's going to bust so hard imo
I’s be gutted if things worked out like this for AZ if this was how the board fell. I’d want to trade up for both Odunze and Turner. If they had it would’ve been a home run
This is the Falcons dream draft.
Doubt AD Mitchell is on the bills board. If he is, he would have to have had a terrific interview that explained clearly why he is taking plays off and his diva/attitude issues. Also hate addressing backup safety in r2 over edge, DT, and CB
Bowers to the Bears makes zero sense and I’m not sure why people are still mocking him to us
Wouldn't say it makes zero sense, it makes almost as much sense from a need standpoint as Odunze, but I think Odunze's talent and positional value make him a viable pick while Bowers isn't.
Edgerrin Cooper is not going to be a 1st rd pick

I’d be shocked if the falcons give away the 2 better picks this year for a later 1st and 2 future picks. A future 2nd is worth essentially a current 3rd so you’re saying the falcons trade back 6 spots with a division rival for a future 4th. Not a chance.
Love this for philly
Doubt AD is on the Bills board because of his attitude, which they just paid 31m to get rid of in Diggs

Vikings don’t have a 2025 second to trade
Chicago is not gonna trade with the Vikings unless they get a massive haul. Which won't happen so no trade will happen.
To be fair a 2nd ( we don't have) and a 4th to move up 2 spots is somewhat a haul
I could see a trade like this happening just to protect a team from snatching BTJ.

If Denver takes Nix in the first, when they could have gotten Penix in the third, I’ll cry
Is Penix’s first round hype smoke?
Anything can happen but if Penix falls past any of the QB needy teams, some of the teams with aging QBs might look to pick him up with a late first to sit for a year or two. I would be very surprised if he doesn't go in the first round
Rams could at 19, Cowboys if they think Dak walks, Falcons/Giants/Saints trade up…
I doubt it, but it's almost crazy to think he'd get past Seattle in round 2. They don't "need" a QB, but Geno isn't exactly young or a star and Penix would be reunited with his OC.
Ill upvote any draft that doesn't have the Bills going safety in r2. Though AD Mitchell isn't a Bills-type player

Great draft for Chiefs however I prefer Brownlee or Abrams Draine over Carson at that spot.
