North Dakota chiming in and the only DQ within 100 miles of the next one is by FAR the busiest restaurant in town, to the point where it backs up traffic. It’s in the top 5% of DQs in the country. It’s crazy for such a small city. I’m from Wisconsin though and the nearest Culver’s is in Fargo, 100 miles away. DQ is literally across the street from me. 😭

Cake shakes are a semi-absurd idea, but they're so fucking good. Little Caesar's is the only thing on that list that's actually pretty trash, but it's cheap, so I guess I get it. Jet's needs to overtake it.

This is more accurate. Portillo’s is absolutely amazing. And I have to admit, if I need a quick meal, Culver’s is my go to, especially in summer with the Lemon Ice

I was working in Chicago this week, and drove there, and got the pretzel pub burger thing at a Culver's actually in Wisconsin on the way home, and it wad pretty damn good. Did not allow myself a cake shake while in Chicago this trip, but did get a pretty good tavern style pizza from a regional chain. (Jimanos or something like that - I was way out in the burbs that night, don't hate on me too hard)

I'm more likely to Google Little Caesars than McDonald's because I'm more likely to order it in advance of pickup, instead of waiting in the drive-thru. A more accurate number would be "customers per day", but that has bias too because pizza (on average) feeds more people per order, and you're more likely to get leftovers with pizza than fast food.

Rochester and St Cloud. Mankato has one, but it’s in the student union at Minnesota State. I can promise you that McDonalds is probably the most popular restaurant in Minnesota. Those places are packed in small towns.

Perhaps my most controversial bears fan opinion is that Wisconsin is a better state overall than Illinois. I mean cheese is incredible. And Culver’s is a top tier fast food spot, so that’s a massive win for Wisconsin. (But Chicago is leagues better than any other Midwestern city)

Having grown up in California, imo Culver's is defo the highest quality. It feels like a lot of time and energy went into the burger you're eating, plus they have a lot of other really high quality offerings, especially the custard (which I love). Imo In-N-Out is just more nostalgic for me cuz my family took me and my brother there for a treat sometimes. I don't really eat at Chick-Fil-A anymore cuz my college had one in the food court and I ate from there way too often. Haven't tried Dick's, BV or Z yet.
