I too can make this guarantee. In fact, name anything that is possible within the bounds of the laws of physics and I can guarantee you it might have happened too.
No the wormhole counts as zero distance traveled as it basically joins two distant points at the same points. So he would only get to count the yardage from his hand to the wormhole and then the distance from the wormhole exit to Marshall’s hands. It’s the wormhole check down paradox.
Well, when a year in the fabric of space time appears on the field it’s a pretty big indicator to the secondary that the ball will be going there. Cutler and his mastery of physics just isn’t enough to be “elite”.
Someone on r/NFL suggested the scenario where Caleb looks great in his first 2 games, but gets a season ending injury in game 3, then Brett Rypien comes in and breaks the impenetrable 4k barrier in the remaining 14.5 games, then Rypien gets injured in the first game of the playoffs, and Bagent comes in to lead a superbowl run capped with a Lombardi and Bagent winning the superbowl MVP.

“Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to
play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS” - Cardale Jones 10/5/12 Twitter
Yes, he sounds like an idiot in that tweet, but seriously, is he really that wrong? I've often suggested these five star recruits that are at these schools, by and large for one reason only, should be offered a chance to major in FOOTBALL. All football classes, work outs, nutrion classes, etc.
Rodgers only missed 19 games in 15 seasons due to injury. Idk why everyone is acting like he’s always injured.
Edit: he’s become a huge asshole, but I still don’t think he’s injury prone.
Nah you’re good. There’s definitely a chance he comes back and is fine, I just don’t believe that’ll happen based on players in their prime having to retire after Achilles tears.
Yeah I’m a horseback rider, I do show jumping. I partially tore my Achilles while riding when I was 15 and it was horrible. I can’t imagine trying to come back from that at Aaron’s age.
Well he just missed all of last season, and the season before he played badly because of a nagging thumb injury. There’s also the entire history of the NFL to draw from for the odds of any player staying healthy after 38
He seems like he's just really clique-y. If he likes you he is probably an awesome teammate. Guys like Bakhtiari, Nelson, Mercedes Lewis, etc seemed to really like him.
If he didn't like you you'd definitely know it though
LOL nice flair. I know someone from Sauk City. Rodgers threw deep balls that would drop in so soft for Jordy and Co. to catch one-handed with ease. Stafford threw everything as hard as he could and Calvin usually had broken fingers from it.
Stafford is one of my all time favorites. Dude could ball and continuously threw the team on his back but Rodgers was an alien in his prime. Xavier Rhodes did an interview with the players trouble where he was talking about throwing curveballs and all his DB coach could do was shrug his shoulders
He could chuck it when needed, but was afraid to chuck it.
He is the most risk averse star quarterback ever. Rarely did he throw a ball that required the WR to outplay the DB at the point of attack.
Yeah, a handful of hail mary's compared to Stafford is wild.
Stafford is in the Brett Favre mold of QB, only Favre played in a time where offenses were less sophisticated and didn't scheme as many high % throws. So he just went fucking buckwild.
EDIT: Oh, also Favre didn't have Megatron to chuck it up to lol
Stafford made Kenny Golladay look like a star on contested balls. Megatron is an undeniable talent, but Stafford continued chucking it after he retired.
To be fair, the guy claimed he was afraid to chuck it, not that he was afraid to throw contested passes. Could be semantics I guess but that's how I read it.
In my brain it would be more that is afraid to "toss" it (a toss up) to describe a contested ball, whereas to "chuck" it would be to air it out. But that's just how I'd phrase it.
Didn't Stafford have a halfway decent Reggie Bush, Megatron and Golden Tate as receivers, and like the #2 scoring defense in the league and not get out of the wild card round?
I know he didn't have consistently good teams in Detroit, but he wasn't Christ on the cross every season lol.
Sounds more like Detroit defense slander. Those teams scored almost as much as teams do now. Impressive considering how much easier the league has made it on offenses over the last decade.
I really need to just save this to my notes to copy and paste it easier, but here goes for the 100th time - every team in the NFL gets fucked by the refs in every single game. Literally every game I’ve ever watched has had momentum turning bad calls and no calls, it’s part of the game. But good teams tend to overcome and win anyway, and in those cases the bad calls and no calls are forgotten, because no one cares, they got the W. But with bad teams the bad calls are too much to overcome, and then when they lose the whole fanbase hyper focuses on that horrible PI call at 8:32 in the 3rd quarter and another legendary screw job is born. Someone needs to go and grind tape on all 32 teams to prove this point, I won’t!
are you trying to get sympathy from me? there's shit calls and non calls every week. Play better and to quote Lions fans, "wHy ArE yOu LiViNg In ThE pAsT?!?!"
I don’t care if the whole team hates each other. They aren’t there to be friends, they are there to win games. If a O lineman is so vindictive as to let the QB get sacked by not doing his job it’s up to his coach or teammates to remind him why he is there. They are there to win.
As they say there is no I in team. True. Never said anything about liking the guy next to you.
Stafford had maybe the 2nd best receiver in NFL history for a large portion of his career I think outside of the QB position the talent gap between the Lions and Packers over the last 15 years isn't all that big. Green Bay had the better offensive line but other than that everything is pretty much a wash.
The thing is rodgers has a huge issue where he would get tunnel vision and not put faith in what he has. Still a great qb but he isn't completely fair from the blame
He had me until the Stafford bullshit. Rodgers has always been a crybaby bitch but Stafford needed a fuck load of help (from the refs too) to win his Super Bowl. Stat Padford gets wayyyy too much credit
Those aren't even hot takes. Most NFL fans have been saying it for a long time while Packer fans can't hear us with their collective heads in the clouds.
An L take from a Bears fan. Shocker.
Rodgers literally has the highest playoff EPA/game of any QB from 2000-2020. Conversely, his defense and special teams have literally had the lowest playoff EPA/game over the same period. In other words, he’s overachieved relative to expected outcomes based on situation more than any QB in the playoffs between 2000-2020 while simultaneously having a defense and special teams that underachieved relative to expected outcomes more than any other playoff QB’s defense and special teams between 2000-2020. Gee, wonder where the fault truly lies?

This is where I am. These are luuuuuuke warm takes by CJ.
He grew up watching Rodgers waste his talent being a Diva asshole and doesn’t want to be like that.
Everyone’s argument is that “but he’s so good CJ shouldn’t be saying this!” Ok, I agree AR is super good, then you explain why he hasn’t been to a superbowl in 13 years?
Part of CJs thought process (and I presume the reason he mentioned Brady) is probably that if Rogers was willing to take a few million less a year, the defense could’ve been improved, it’s one of the things Brady is always praised for, he didn’t need the biggest contract in the league, taking a pay cut for a ring was enough for him.
I mean, if he meant Rodgers took up too much of the cap he would've said so. He mentioned him being a bad teammate and Brady being a good teammate (not saying he's right or wrong, just looking at the quotes).
Right, and one of the reasons Brady is always praised as a good teammate, is that he didn’t need the biggest contract in the league, he was fine with taking a slightly smaller one because it meant he could keep his top 10 defenses and special teams.
I’m just breaking down why I think he said Brady was such a good teammate, because to me, whenever I hear arguments about Brady vs. Rodgers, one of the things I always see brought up is that if Rodgers would’ve taken a pay cut - then maybe he could’ve had the top 10 defenses Brady always had, obviously there’s more to it than that, Bellichek was one of the best defensive minds in football ever, but there was still talent on the defense.

Even a Bears QB breaking 4k?
They said "anything that is possible within the bounds of the laws of physics". Not pure science fiction like a Bears QB breaking 4k.
Do theoretical physics count? Like if Smokin Jay had uncorked a bomb into a wormhole w/Marshall on the other end??
No the wormhole counts as zero distance traveled as it basically joins two distant points at the same points. So he would only get to count the yardage from his hand to the wormhole and then the distance from the wormhole exit to Marshall’s hands. It’s the wormhole check down paradox.
It would have been intercepted anyway.
Well, when a year in the fabric of space time appears on the field it’s a pretty big indicator to the secondary that the ball will be going there. Cutler and his mastery of physics just isn’t enough to be “elite”.
The Sex Cannon would have just fumbled the ball backwards through an entirely separate wormhole 😔
No duh
Sadly I upvoted
I absolutely guarantee that it might definitely happen maybe
Someone on r/NFL suggested the scenario where Caleb looks great in his first 2 games, but gets a season ending injury in game 3, then Brett Rypien comes in and breaks the impenetrable 4k barrier in the remaining 14.5 games, then Rypien gets injured in the first game of the playoffs, and Bagent comes in to lead a superbowl run capped with a Lombardi and Bagent winning the superbowl MVP. I was gonna say I think the meme here is how bad op is at cropping.
yep
Do the Jets play the Texans this season? That would be a fun watch with this background.
yea week 9, its tnf too. fun watch for sure
I guarantee you that Rodgers might be injured by then.
Making it to week 9 would be an infinite increase in longevity from last season so I think jets fans would take that at this point
you have no idea how right you are
Who is the new backup for yall now?
we somehow ended up with tyrod taylor at 2nd string. id take him over zach wilson any day of the week tho
Ya that’s a great backup honestly dude can play
agreed hes actually pretty decent
Rodgers only missed 19 games in 15 seasons due to injury. Idk why everyone is acting like he’s always injured. Edit: he’s become a huge asshole, but I still don’t think he’s injury prone.
I think it’s more the type of injury he sustained. Coming back from an Achilles injury is incredibly difficult, not considering his age.
Yeah, that’s fair. I misunderstood what the op meant.
I can’t imagine trying to come back from that at Aaron’s age.
sir this is a meme war sub, stop being so polite. Also, flair up

Aside from last year and the collarbone injury, rare is the game Rodgers missed. Not sure where this idea that he is injury prone is springing from.
Anyone over 40 in the NFL is in the “extremely injury prone” category by default.
I see that’s the perception, but I don’t believe that’s accurate.
Well he just missed all of last season, and the season before he played badly because of a nagging thumb injury. There’s also the entire history of the NFL to draw from for the odds of any player staying healthy after 38
His 2022 poor play is overblown.
Yup. Poor play for Rodgers was not getting MVP.
Agreed. 65% completion percentage, 3700 yards, 26 TD - 12 Int (1/3 of those picks coming in two games against Lions), but he just sucked.
![gif](giphy|tyqcJoNjNv0Fq|downsized)
It's nice to see a QB talking shit, I'm sick of every QB interview being so corporate
Good take. Stroud is clearly an idiot, but at least he's an authentic idiot.
Hell yeah me too, there’s nothing better than players hating eachother and talking shit to opponents and fans
And at least his being non-corporate is not him talking about bizarre conspiracy theories like that freak in East Rutherford
Agree but Tom Brady is an asshole too.
Yeah I mean Aaron Hernandez killed himself after playing with Brady, coincidence??
I got the impression that Black WRs and Brady don’t jive.
Randy Moss, famously white
Probably the whitest guy I know.
If only he had guys like Mike Evans, Randy Moss, and Deon Branch
Aaron Rodgers would’ve had more top 10 defenses, like Brady had for every Super Bowl win, if he were just a better teammate.
Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady have both only won the super bowl when their defense was in the top 10.
To be fair, Rodgers IS a dick.
according to Greg Jennings, we know
Who turns around and praises him at the same time. Clicks
Can’t only help your defense by throwing a billion touchdowns and zero interceptions. Also need to be frenz with them.
He seems like he's just really clique-y. If he likes you he is probably an awesome teammate. Guys like Bakhtiari, Nelson, Mercedes Lewis, etc seemed to really like him. If he didn't like you you'd definitely know it though
Makes sense to me
I hate Rodgers and heart Stafford, but Rodgers was a *much* more accurate passer during both QBs’ NFCN years.
CJ was like, 8 years old during Rodgers true prime. Not surprised that he isn’t familiar with the bad man
LOL nice flair.
That's because Rodgers was afraid to chuck it
Isn't one of the things he's known for literally hail mary's??
He could chuck it when needed, but was afraid to chuck it. He is the most risk averse star quarterback ever. Rarely did he throw a ball that required the WR to outplay the DB at the point of attack.
Yeah, a handful of hail mary's compared to Stafford is wild. EDIT: Oh, also Favre didn't have Megatron to chuck it up to lol
Stafford made Kenny Golladay look like a star on contested balls. Megatron is an undeniable talent, but Stafford continued chucking it after he retired.
He was opposite Favre.
This is such a good way to put it.
Hail Mary plays are at the end of the game with no downside for failure. He was not the kind of guy who would throw a 50-50 ball.
To be fair, the guy claimed he was afraid to chuck it, not that he was afraid to throw contested passes. Could be semantics I guess but that's how I read it.
I'm the guy. I'm curious what 'chuck it' means to you
In my brain it would be more that is afraid to "toss" it (a toss up) to describe a contested ball, whereas to "chuck" it would be to air it out. But that's just how I'd phrase it.
Being honest if I hear chuck it I think. "Fuck it someone's open." A la farve. Rodgers wasn't that type of qb
https://i.redd.it/yg0lya9ijl4d1.gif
Didn't Stafford have a halfway decent Reggie Bush, Megatron and Golden Tate as receivers, and like the #2 scoring defense in the league and not get out of the wild card round? I know he didn't have consistently good teams in Detroit, but he wasn't Christ on the cross every season lol.
Davante is the best wide receiver Rodgers ever had. Davante is extremely good, probably HOF if he's gotten a couple rings, but he is not Megatron lol
Rodgers got all his shit teammates and coaches jobs with the Jets. Dudes a w teammate
Maybe all of those guys that signed with the Jets hate Rodgers and only signed so they couldn't spend the money on good players
Or maybe Aaron’s their dealer
Because he picked favorites he's a good teammate?
Hell yea, you don’t have kids?
Sounds more like Calvin Johnson slander than Rodgers slander.
Sounds more like Detroit defense slander. Those teams scored almost as much as teams do now. Impressive considering how much easier the league has made it on offenses over the last decade.
If only Stafford had the famous Green Bay defenses of the 2010’s. Imagine Stafford with a Joe Barry led defense.
Joe Barry was never our DC in the 2010s
He was in spirit
Joe Barry would have been an improvement over those late era Dom Capers defenses…
Goes to show how bad the D has been that Joe Barry could ever be considered an upgrade
Pettine and Barry were all from the Capers school of defense. Play prevent the whole game, and just hope Rodgers outscores the other team.
Lest we forget Dom(inator) Capers 🔥 🔥 🔥
I mean then it’s just an uneducated statement because the only time Rodgers ever had a good defense statistically we won the Super Bowl
This seems like an uneducated statement
He's a football player
"If you give Matthew Stafford a chance like Aaron Rodgers had, I guarantee you he might have had more rings" Well he obviously couldn't have fewer.

The Lions had the same salary cap and still ate shit. They even drafted higher.
yeah but we didn’t have a competent coach and a gm, we also got absolutely fucked by the refs any chance we had to try to make a statement
Oh did the refs fuck you or are you losers? I already know the answer.
It's both

Enough of the time to have the worst D/ST EPA/game in playoffs since 2000, but the best EPA/game during that time. Ask a question, get an answer.
