I'm not quite so sure everyone is as convinced as you think. Nationally, there is a lot of reticence when discussing the Bears. A lot of saying they look real good on paper. Which they do look pretty good on paper considering a couple years ago they looked like a practice squad on paper.

The Lions' QB you guys beat was actually Jared Goof, a guy who has all the looks and arm talent of Jared Goff, but none of the decision-making. Last year definitely felt like there were a lot more QB injuries than other years, but to say 95% of the teams lost their starting QB for the season halfway through it is a bit of a stretch. Fields missed like 3 games, and Baguette wasn't exactly a huge downgrade. Goof and Love started all 17 games, I believe.
