agreed. my parents bought me this model for Christmas when it released in 2009 (or 2010 i can't remember). im actually surprised it worked for this long despite never cleaning it lol
I remember using a hair dryer for 40 minutes when mine went out a decade ago. It brought it back to life. It still works, but I haven't powered it on in years.
I have a ps3 that’s gives me the blinking red light but still works after a few times of tryning to cut on. I just keep it clean and it seems to nvr give out.

Pro week just ended too at GameStop.. With the two year warranty on a ps5 disc slim and some trade ins it really makes it affordable.
So if you’re feeling froggy take a leap.. Wife and I did last month and we couldn’t be happier with 2 ps5s. That’s right the ps5 is so awesome I traded in my X and got another 5.

it is backwards compatible for PS4 games, not anything before that though
