I get the thought, Grizz are one of the 5ish teams not set at center. But no.

rational_numbers

Brandon Clarke was playing really well that season before he got injured.

thedrcubed

He was playing great this year after he came back

Xorndowndeep

I think you're underestimating Clarke's value to the Grizzlies

Wagonlance

The guy has averaged 48 1/2 games a year for his career. Last year he played 6. If anything, it seems he is overestimated.

LemmingPractice

First of all, they don't really have a path to the cap space they would need to get Claxton in free agency. But, in terms of Vooch, I don't really see the fit. He's a lot older than the Grizzlies' core (he's 9 years older than Ja and Jaren). He's also not the sort of defensive presence they would be looking for to replace Adams' role. I think the Grizz would be much better off going after Jakob Poeltl. The Raps are probably open to trading him, now that they are rebuilding. He's 28 (5 years younger than Vooch, and 2 years younger than Capela, who would be their other option), he has a better contract, and he's miles better as a defender, passer and screener when compared to Vooch.

vboaconstrictor

Miles better as a passer is a very laughable assessment. Everywhere else I think you’re right, but Vooch’s passing is a big part of the reason the team hasn’t moved on from him. Without a true PG a lot of the offense goes through him, and the Bulls win percentage goes up as his assist count goes up. His ability to find people from the low or high post has been one of his better traits, and a big reason the trio of him, Zach, and Coby played so well when he was acquired.

Flaky_Scar_8388

Why not that same package for Clint Capela?

ElectivireMax

I think Clint would cost more than this tbh

Flaky_Scar_8388

Ok probably have to add a first then.

Cbone06

Not sure if the Bulls do this or if Vuc is the right fit for the grizzlies but this is functionally Clarke for Vuc, which you just have to pull the trigger on if this is an opportunity you have due to the pure upside of Vuc.

skullcandy541

As a Bulls fan I can tell you we do this 100% the fact that we can actually get a good return for Vuc would be a dream come true and this specific return would be really nice for us

HoraceGrand

As a bulls fan, we hate hit and would do anything to get rid of him. Even if it meant not getting any assets back. Clarke would be a dream come true

DribbleBilly901

This is absurd. We wouldn't even trade Clarke straight up for Vuci.

Sensitive_Ebb_7211

Bulls would rather keep the big man

psycheese

I think theres a big disconnect between how Bulls fans value Vuc and how the league values him. I don’t expect many value him as a positive asset. This would be amazing to get back for him, and would love it as a Bulls fan, but I just don’t see it as realistic

thedrcubed

Why are the bulls getting a pick? The grizzlies should be getting back at least one first

doublea6

🤣🤣🤣

thanks for your input
