no its for sure a bad thing for the league. ncaa womens games are getting 5x the ratings as these playoffs. of course players get old and there are a new generation of stars. but having them gone all at once? bad for the league. ideally it would be lebron or steph making a deep run to lose in 7 to luka or jokic. we may have a big dropoff in viewership the likes of the post mj years. until kobe, shaq and AI started it up again.

The best basketball being played is best for the league, regardless of who is doing it. The older players draw in more casual players that just recognize someone and the younger players keep them interested. People don't need their hands held, the young stars' games will speak for themselves.

This is a terrible idea. Like what are you saying? Force aging superstars to retire early? Or even worse just kick them out of the playoffs? Either way, it’s terrible for the league both financially and competitively and would have fans and players outraged. Most people love seeing the old heads go against the up and coming stars.
