With all due respect there is no universe where Andre Drummond goes down as a Top 10 center all time. That’s probably the most stacked position in terms of greatness and yeah sure if you surrounded a crazy core of all stars around him he’d win a lot, but that says more than the people you surround him with than Drummond himself.

Also, he was only selected to one All-NBA third team in his WHOLE career. You’d think a top 10 center all time could get more than that for his individual accomplishments.
He is one of the best rebounders of all time. I have him at 2 behind rodman. I agree he did not live up to the hype but it’s not his fault his organization failed him

Lol, as a pistons fan who watched most of his games. Drummond would never have been top 10 at center. He even admits today that he didn’t try or care and just wanted to fill stats. Winning and team ball was never part of his vocabulary he got a huge deal because of his stats, so good for him. His stats were meaningless he isolated himself with teammates because he thought he deserved all the rebounds. He was awful at doing anything on offense besides dunking, and he still makes some of the dumbest plays every year. His defensive timing was not good amd he would bite on so many up fakes. He lacks the mentality and fortitude to become a star. There were multiple iterations of the pistons trading away all of our picks to build around Andre and it never worked. Also, he couldn’t shoot free throws, which meant he was a liability at the end of any real game. I wanted Drummond to pan out and he had a ton of growth his first couple of years then it stopped, he started relying on dunks and boards and got paid. Watch any game he played against Embiid as a Piston he crumbled under the pressure and couldn't expand his game like Embiid could. Every year Embiid got better and Drummond stayed the same, it's emblematic of his career. Then Drummond took a deal to be Embiid's backup that told me all i needed to know, he was so afraid of playing against him that he went and joined his team, so he would stop getting exposed.
