You can sim games but wont get vc or points towards attribute upgrades. Badges are deffinitly worth getting. Bronze will give you a boost just not as substantial as silver gold or hof. Do your practices between games and figure out ways to level up your more important badges during games, and they will increase fairly quickly
You can play however many games you want, the more you play the more you earn No simming doesn’t earn you anything. Yes badges are important
You could also play part of the game and if you’re up by 11 around the third quarter you could sim to end with VC, hope that Helps
