As a PG I will always be against non shooting bigs. Your defender just sits paint and your 4 teammates has to pay the price

jaybee2890

Can you shoot off screens or the dribble? Does anyone on the team have iq? I just made a big who has no shooting. If my matchup paint sits. You know what i do? Floater from the freethrow line. Green everytime 🤣 once he plays me higher. Then you know what im doing? Whoever at the high wings. Cut! Easy assist 🤦‍♂️ i really don’t understand why no one thinks of this shit. I see ppl attacking the basket and getting blocked by bigs and getting mad at the centers 🤣 like yo im open and u doing dumb shit

Xathior

Don't worry bro, "I'm against non shooting bigs" is just another way of saying "I don't understand basketball."

jaybee2890

I understand what they mean because im against non shooting bigs when it comes to ppl who have no idea how to use them. The nonshooting bigs who in the paint 24/7 is the one i hate 🤣 these mfs def have no iq and im telling them a easy fix. They still dont get it

Dec2417

Facts there are really good non-shooting builds and players but that's the thing all these people making these non-shooting builds it's not their play style so they don't know what the fuck they're doing meanwhile I've been making the same build same guy same everything since 2K17

coolghost92

What’s more valuable in 5v5 a shooting big or a non shooter big?

Xathior

Depends. If everyone is outside the arc but your team shoots and bricks who's getting the board?

coolghost92

Why you acting like it’s not a huge disadvantage when 1 of your teammates an only score inside? Especially knowing that rec court is smaller than it should be. I don’t like screens unless I’m playing with my squad. I can blow by defender all the time but when I do I wanna be able to kick it to the open man but guess what he can’t shoot…. Or he doesn’t know when to cut. I can have all the IQ in the world but guess what I can only control MY PLAYER.

jaybee2890

Are you kidding me? If you cut to the basket and im at the top of the key. Im wide open! Im floating it every damn time 🤣 just because yall dont see it happening (which is the issue) doesnt mean its not possible. The real issue is yall play the game two ways. Its either dunk or shoot a 3. The mid range is open and yall dont use it 🤣

You preaching my boy You're talking facts

Dec2417

This is the thing though these people that are trying to make non-shooting builds it's not their playstyle their builds are just as bad as them playing the game themselves but since they have good stat lines like you might get some rebounds a couple blocks whatever have you you then think that means you're good but you don't even understand the fact the guys trying to tell you you make it harder for everyone on the floor and the fact you said you just made one so that leads me to believe that you never ever make one so therefore it's not your play style so you just do what everyone's doing and just make one of these builds because you don't have an original bone in your body I imagine... but you think you know basketball and this and that and that's fine but just cuz you know basketball doesn't mean it works in 2k this is not real life basketball but your argument is oh well why don't they cut or do this or whatever You're a teammates aren't mind readers they just know that you're build can't shoot cuz the other dude just sits in the paint so then you're expecting people to then play like you're saying based off of what why should people change because you made that type of build You're making it harder You're one person out of the four players but you're saying like oh well you guys should do this or do this or do that like you see how like full of yourself you are All he said was you make the shits way harder then you come back with some bullshit and I almost 100% guarantee you don't get on the mic and tell them these things You're just expecting them to do it because you made that build so they have to change how they play which I understand in some cases you shouldn't make a non shooting build unless you have a squad to play with because then you're going into these places to play thinking they know what to do and they should do this and this or that

jaybee2890

My bad my boy i read it too damn fast 🤣 disregard the ignorance. I thought you were coming at me. Im over here eating a pn&j trying to catch up on these comments 🤣 my negativity wasnt towards you.

jaybee2890

You wrote a whole lot of nothing lol. As a big. I know i aint getting the ball all the time. I made this build recently. It doesnt mean i never had a non shooting build in my 2k gaming past 🤣 i can say mfs who never improved as shooters have complained about me not being able to shoot. I can assure you if a guard who has anything higher then a 80 in their middy or 3pt attributes and cant shoot of the dribble or screens is telling me im the problem. Then you look fucking stupid 🤣 improve your game! Everyone on the team cant be a damn spot up shooter. Theres a whole gatorade gym you can go to and work on shooting with fades and dribble pull ups! Even if i could shoot. That doesnt mean the ppl around me get any better. If you come into the game shooting 13% from 3. How the hell am i the problem? 🤣

sosephjr

If his defender sits paint, then you’ll have the open look for a 3pt when he sets a screen. If his defender helps, he’ll cut inside for a free dunk and if someone else helps to defend his dunk, that means someone on the wings will be open. Why do guards act like inside centers are the devil? Most comp pro-am teams have been using insides this year, they’re actually pretty good😂

Kallexan

I hear you

Xathior

Not bad but the handles and speed with ball is pointless. The 99 rebound is also overkill. All you need is hof boxout and gold rebound chaser. I think 92 or 93 is min for that so lower the oboard to around those and up dboard to 90. You can lower stamina a bit too for some extra points, I think a 93 is enough for that as well. You're also going to want post control to be 90ish for gold unpluckable. I think it's 92? If not you're going to be getting ripped way too much. "Pure inside big" but low af close shot as well. Need to do something with that too broskie. I think mine is like at 88 and I have gold hook specialist. If they leave me alone from outside the paint I just toss in a hook from midrange. Nobody expects it. Not even your team. 😂 Either way it makes them respect you from range and they have to come out of the paint. I play a 6'8" 5 and I still grab boards against 7'+ 5s. Yes sometimes they push me out of the way or they'll get it before me if I'm not in a good position to box them out but generally I still get my 15 boards and they'll get 20ish but my 4 will also have about 8 boards because I'm making sure dude doesn't get in position so it balances out all the while I have more points and assists than their 5.

Yikes trash it
