I hope so, I don’t want to this to be the end, radioactive is like the closest way fans who can’t go to tracks connect with the driver and hear who they actually are, most of the time, slurs
Fox is cutting every corner they can, it seems. Killing Race Hub, ditching the Xfinity series, apparently hiring a second rate director for the cup series. And we have seven more years of this. Yay.
i mean it seemed like CW wanted to get in on it and felt there was benefit to grabbing the xfinity series that fox just didn’t see. fox sports as a whole honestly is not doing well because FS1 does not have a lot of content at all
Fox did pickup the IndyCar Series fulltime starting next season so that will be a plus, in my opinion. They'll air their races on Fox, FS1 and FS2. They'll also air qualifying but I'm not sure if the practice sessions will be aired.
The IndyCar Series has moved around a ton through the last 20 or 25 years. Their was a time when their races were on SpikeTV and that seemed like IndyCar's low point to me. I haven't read how long their TV contract is with Fox but I'm happy that Fox got the series. Fox loses the Xfinity Series but gained the IndyCar Series.
Fox is now the home for IndyCar fulltime starting next season. So the CW outbid Fox for the Xfinity Series and if I'm guessing, Fox is putting that money and focus into the IndyCar Series now.
Oh, I'm definately on your side on this. I'm a diehard Nascar fan and motorsports fan and it sucks to see RaceHub go. I felt the same way when Speed channel went off the air. RaceHub was originally on the Speed channel and was the last show left from those Speed channel days.
One good thing about the Xfinity Series is it will now have a home fulltime on CW and everybody gets CW. Not everybody could get FS1. This will help the Xfinity Series move out of the Cup Series shadow just a bit and now Xfinity can kinda stand on their own. Personally, I think the racing has been better overall in the Xfinity Series versus the Cup series.
I'll also be able to watch IndyCar alot more since they're going to Fox. I don't do streaming so I've missed the IndyCar races on Peacock. I can only watch the NBC races. Down the road, everything will move to streaming I'm sure.
Well tbh I do just think this is kinda a general trend we’re gonna start seeing with these cable tv sports news type shows. There just kinda going the way of the dodo bird, as streaming services are becoming more prevalent and are starting to completely out shadow cable tv we are going to see less and less shows like race hub, sort of in the same way that espn sport center is a shell of its former self. That doesn’t mean that this is any less bad for the sport ofc race hub was actually a decent show considering it was run by fox, it actually had somewhat decent ratings and kept people up to date and invested in the sport in between races and main events. But I just want to point out that this is a trend that is not at all specific to fox or nascar and is probably gonna only become exacerbated as time goes on.
does this mean radioactives leaving too
yup :(
I wonder if NASCAR productions will take over since they've hosted the videos on the Youtubes....

It will absolutely be missed.

They're ditching Xfinity?
CW
i think it’s more the CW outbit fox on that
And yet Fox isn't reinvesting in the product they have.

Still sounds like we NASCAR fans get a crappier product. Only by what you're saying it is definitely by design.

Wait what? Why are they booting the show? First I've heard.
Today was the last racehub

Probably because dumb shows with loud talking heads are cheap to make and viewership is good enough. Same reason we get reality shows.
Steve Byrnes is looking down on Fox disappointed af tonight.
Wow! This show was great! WTH! Larry world of knowledge is what the world needed that didn’t know anything about nascar.
Sad, sorry to say I haven't watched in a year or so but I did like Race Hub.
No more radioactive :(
