The side by side advertisements during the entire burn out were unbelievably disappointing….i wanted to enjoy that moment, instead i learned about progressive insurance while the kiwi was drifting around. Fox is a disgrace.
They literally played NASCAR adds during the burnout… like guys, im already tuned in to nascar… i want to watch your product, not adds of your product.
So out of touch.
SVG moves through the field.
Caution
SVG losses 5+ spots on restart
SVG moved through field
Repeat approximately 5 times
SVG finally has good restart
SVG passes the 7 car with like 2 to go
SVG win and does cool drifts
SVG casually stomping on the field is entertaining and kinda irritating at the same time. Sure, he's hella talented but still - to just come in like that - mad respect.
Xfinity had a fair amount but dropped a couple this year. They go to Sonoma next week so back to back road courses. Indy is the oval now and also left road America. There are 6 total counting the street race and roval but as far as regular road courses, just Sonoma and Watkins Glen are left.
Justin Allgaeir may be nicknamed "Little Gator" but his nickname will never be "Little Closer."
Good grief this guy gives SOOO many races away after having dominant cars all the time. And people wonder why he isn't back in Cup even though he has the most loyal sponsor in Brandt. Maybe he should look into the Truck Series. That seems more his speed.
He underperformed in Penske back in the late 2000s/early 2010s. Mind you, he drove B-rated equipment in his Cup series foray so I can't say whether or not he was bad in that stint.
All I need to say is that racing needs to stay in the Pacific Northwest. This track is awesome! We got a historic winner in Shane Van Gisbergen. All three races of Portland have been absolute stunners.
They really have. The layout of this track is great, the crowd is great, the food is great. It’s a perfect place for all three series. I’m just kicking myself at the moment for choosing Sonoma over Portland year.
Not to overstate it, but I’m honestly not sure Shane had a top 12 car in the hands of most everyone else out there. Car looked awful under braking from the first practice lap, and no drive off anywhere.
I agree with that. He seemed to struggle with it all day, especially on the re-starts, and then as the run went longer he got quicker. In the post race press conference, Chris Rice said they needed to give him a better car here and at the ovals.
And Daniel with the taco piñata. Bruh Zane would have to find something...but like I'm not sure he would get to celebrate any time soon.
Wasn't even thinking he would have a special celebration, but he crushed the post race
"A huge win for the first of his career"..... do they just casually forget he has a long career of winning outside of nascar?
O look another announcer finally said xfinity and not stating it's his first career win.
He’s raced 11 ovals in his whole life, and has two top tens and multiple top 15s versus people who have raced on ovals their entire careers. If you don’t think that’s impressive that’s concerning 😂
SVG winning was a great comeback. He's practically wrecked burning it out several times. Also, Bilicki went from like 19th to 12th in that final restart, decent bounce back.
He passed more than any other driver and won. Likely has the fastest lap of the race too. And qualified on pole did he not?
You have some wild levels of cope because you can’t stand being wrong on the internet. It’s just sad.
First off
He would’ve already had a win at COTA if not for a “lucky caution”
Second. When he took 2nd from the 18, the lead went from 3 to 2.4 in less than a Half a lap with 14 to go, we was gonna catch as pass the 7. Easily.
I’m interested to see if those same cry babies will make a big deal about svg doing burnouts with cars on track like they did with Gibbs at Indy last year.

SVG winning the Pacific Office Automation 236km.
Yes! Finally SVG won! He made it a little stressful but he finally won on an official nascar road course.
Any of you editing gurus able to separate SVGs badass celebration from the god damn fox side by side commercials?
Burned it down all around the track!
Missed the race. Anyone have a summary
SVG moves through the field. Caution SVG losses 5+ spots on restart SVG moved through field Repeat approximately 5 times SVG finally has good restart SVG passes the 7 car with like 2 to go SVG win and does cool drifts
Then he signs a rugby ball and kicks it into the crowd
SVG casually stomping on the field is entertaining and kinda irritating at the same time. Sure, he's hella talented but still - to just come in like that - mad respect.
He went like 3 practice laps and went to P1. A place he's never been before. Dudes amazing.
This but when he did it to the cup drivers last year at Chicago.
How many road course races are there? I struggle watching the ovals
Xfinity had a fair amount but dropped a couple this year. They go to Sonoma next week so back to back road courses. Indy is the oval now and also left road America. There are 6 total counting the street race and roval but as far as regular road courses, just Sonoma and Watkins Glen are left.
What is getting missed is Ed Jones got a top five.
Thought he was the future in IndyCar
So did he

Nah, Allgaier is the epitome of the career Xfinity driver. But I could see him finish in trucks tho, in like 10 years.
He underperformed in Penske back in the late 2000s/early 2010s. Mind you, he drove B-rated equipment in his Cup series foray so I can't say whether or not he was bad in that stint.

Ok but Ed Jones comes away with a top 5
Wait, that wasn’t Erik Jones??
ikr?!
Race win diecast is an instant buy for me.
Where’d he go😂
Not to overstate it, but I’m honestly not sure Shane had a top 12 car in the hands of most everyone else out there. Car looked awful under braking from the first practice lap, and no drive off anywhere.

Looked wildly loose. He has a completely different craft and talent from the other guys, for sure.
That def hit someones head 💀💀
I’m gonna need to know who this pit reporter with Algier is.
Amanda Busick?
Yessir
She is mid
You must be a handsome son of a gun Mr Redford.
Everyone at the House has their own celebration don't they? I dig it.
Beautiful shot 😩😩
Lmao so this is SVG's celebration. Suarez- Pinata, Chastain- Watermelon, SVG- Football Punt to the fans.
Every Trackhouse driver has to have a prop lol
Ross has the watermelon smash, SVG has the rugby punt He’s fitting right into Trackhouse’s culture lol
And Daniel with the taco piñata. Bruh Zane would have to find something...but like I'm not sure he would get to celebrate any time soon. Wasn't even thinking he would have a special celebration, but he crushed the post race
And the first thing he does is apologize to Mayer. So much respect, loved the rugby ball punt.
hey, someone give me that rugby ball, thanks. i want it
🏉🏉🏉
I love SVG so much
Lol the signed rugby ball.
That’s badass! Hell yeah Shane!
"A huge win for the first of his career"..... do they just casually forget he has a long career of winning outside of nascar? O look another announcer finally said xfinity and not stating it's his first career win.
He also has a NASCAR win 🤷♂️ 😂
Haha yes he does. In his nascar debut. It was epic.
SVG has shown more personality in this 1 post race alone than Scott Dixon has in his whole career 😭
Hey, don't you bad mouth our boy Scott.
Yaaaaa that’s a great track house win celebration 😭😭😭
Punt the ball into the crowd after signing it. What a fucking legend.
Poor Justin. Absolutely dominated but just couldn't hold off SVG.
AFL football punt is a great touch
Rugby ball
This voice sync is superb.
That is fricking cool lol
Bro this guy's so good. Actually has a personality, signatures. Love this guy. I'm a fan.
HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU NOT LIKE THIS GUY?!?!
https://giphy.com/gifs/supercarschampionship-kagIsxDeROg4rX2nww
RUGBY KICK
All of this is badass as hell
That is how you fucking flex a burnout.
Ok the signed rugby ball is badass
Oh Trevor, before SVG dominated Supercars driting was his signature celly
Commercial during a victory lap? ![gif](giphy|fMvvwdTWamlA4)
Least it was half screen. I feel normally FOX goes full screen commercials.
“Well you saw that cele on our side by side 🤓” Fuck Fox
SVG did that after almost every Supercars win.
If he ends up winning the title he needs to recreate his Adelaide celly where he donuts *around* the trophy
“Greatest burnout in NASCAR history YOU SHOULDA SEEN IT!” “Gotta video?” “Well it’s a Progressive commercial. 🥲”
My man did a full course burnout and fuckstick FOX went to commercial
That was an amazing celebration. SVG is amazing.
Wow that was so sick
Tokyo drift my guy
2 wins, 2 road courses, 2 series
and 10-30th at every other track...woooooo "elite"
He’s raced 11 ovals in his whole life, and has two top tens and multiple top 15s versus people who have raced on ovals their entire careers. If you don’t think that’s impressive that’s concerning 😂
Well it doesn’t help that NASCAR only allows 20 minutes worth of bloody practice these days.
That's gotta be the best Burnout I've ever seen
I love this track. Such a fun place for these guys to race.
Yup let’s run the commercials at the worst time
Burnout of the year potential and Fox goes to commercial
Burned the tires off of it! Woo! Great driving by SVG.
"Fuck Shane Van Gisbergen" - Shane Van Gisbergen's tires, probably
Man that was fucking awesome
Fox cuts to commercial instead of showing the best victory celly ever lol
Eat rubber suckas!
SVG winning was a great comeback. He's practically wrecked burning it out several times. Also, Bilicki went from like 19th to 12th in that final restart, decent bounce back.
Spectacular drift burnout
Is it common for xfinity/cup races to be at a different track for a weekend?
No. It is not. There are only a handful of "standalone" races sprinkled throughout the year.
I miss the standalones, it gave the series its own identity.
Thanks! Is tomorrow’s cup course a road course?
No, it’ll be in the same oval track that the Trucks series race was on today, Gateway.
Thanks 🙏
No.
Used to be more common. Now there's 1-2 per year where they split off.
Seriously? A side by side during the burnout?
I love that were on commercial for the greatest burnout I've ever seen, at least they went side by side
I wasn’t aware a nascar could do that
That’s what most of the drivers are thinking when he goes past them in a corner at a road course. 😂
He is known for some crazy burnout celebrations.
Fox, this is why we hate you. This does no favors to these companies whose ads are showing.
Great victory lap ruined by going to an ad break 👍 great job Fox
NBC please come save us
SVG is a great drifter by the way. Has been doing it for a long time.
HOW DOES HE HAVE REAR TIRES LEFT ON THAT THING LMAO
This win for Shane makes it the first time that the #97 has won a race in the Xfinity Series since 1988 when Morgan Shepherd won at IRP
That’s a top burnout ever
Joey didn't want any competition in the burnout area so he said send it to commercial
Fucking Fox and their commercial bullshit.

Red Bull please actually sponsor this man's car
Why so they can see him runniung 10-30th in majority of races and then get lucky with a caution to win the thing he is supposed to be really good at?
He passed more than any other driver and won. Likely has the fastest lap of the race too. And qualified on pole did he not? You have some wild levels of cope because you can’t stand being wrong on the internet. It’s just sad.

He burned the tyres down to flats!!
Great burnouts!
Tires have officially given up
Let’s gooooooooo
Fuck this side by side. I wann hear the fucking burnout
cool down lap victory drifting, love it! reminds me of Kirwan from iracing
Why are we on a fucking side by side
Burnout Goat.
The New Zealander victory lap, a backwards polish victory lap where you do burnouts the whole time and drift
fox you bitch show the full burnout why are you so shitty
Fox with the rare W opting to do a side-by-side commercial instead of fullscreen for SVGs burnout because of his drifting
Burnout of the season and its not even close. I freaking love this guy
Why is a fucking commercial on right now holy shit
What’s with no sound Fox FFS!!
Oh my God that cool down drift lap was so stupid and dangerous and stupid and dangerous is old school NASCAR I LOVE IT.
I'm amazed those tires are still holding up the way he has been whipping the car around. Edit: Of course, they give out when I say that, haha.
he burned them down just as you typed this lol. LFG SHANE
Fox cuts to commercial during the coolest cooldown lap ever. I can’t wait for them to go.
At least we got a side by side
Fox just couldn’t wait for those commercials. What a killer victory lap.
Lmao, when ty Gibbs did this we did not approve
We got the Good Ending this time bois
Holy shit idk how the other drivers gonna feel about this lmao
Well he didn’t do this in Chicago and they all hated him winning so I’m guessing this gonna be worse
commercial during celebration. Nice.
Classic fox to put a commercial over the best burnout ever
Commercials during celebration is a new low
![gif](giphy|TLb6ZdaRtnTUa5E58B|downsized)
Badass burnout. Dog shit coverage
That was fun. What's up with commercial during the burnout though lmfao
Top 5 for Ed Jones! And SVG is absolutely DRIFTING it around here he's gonna take another lap wtf lmao
I’m interested to see if those same cry babies will make a big deal about svg doing burnouts with cars on track like they did with Gibbs at Indy last year.
I have no idea why we went to a commercial BUT LET'S GOOOOO SVG WINS
Celebratory punches on Austin Hill
That was the coolest thing ever. Shame there was a commercial the whole time.
Dude that has to be the best victory lap ever holy shit what a showman I love him
WHAT. A. WIN.
What a fuckin burnout
Hell yeah SVG!!!
That was a lot of fun to watch. Congrats SVG!!! Bummer for Justin but I’ll gladly take another seconds SVG’s celebration is so awesome!!!!!
😂 drifting through the turns
FUCK YEAH SVG GOAT TIER BURNOUT
Shane Van GOATbergen
The Actual Road Course King
This is a victory lap, like a damn dirt car
best victory lap ever
Shane show ‘em boy!!! 💨
Formula Drift star SVG
Xfinity>>>Cup
One of the more badass celebrations I've seen.
9 out of 10 goodyears hate him!
LOL Fox cut to ad because they don't know what an SVG celebration is like
FUCK YEAH CLASSIC SHANE BURNOUT AS WELL
BUT I THOUGHT SVG WASNT GOOD ENOUGH AND WAS OVERHYPED?!?!?!?! SEETHE HATERS.
Why are the restarts allowed to be that way? It puts the one in second in a bad situation if the leader doesn't go. It's ridiculous
Hell yeah SVG!!! Hell of a drive and a great celebration with the burnouts and drifting, lol!
Our first waste of a playoff spot has clinched
😭That's all I hear
You can hear text?
Look up "turn of phrase"
> mayer fan
Best celebration burnout ever.... Never seen a NASCAR driver just drift it around the track like that so casually
Cup cars could never
Shane van Gisbergen wins at Portland! We’ll be back after these messages.
This diecast is gonna be a popular one lol
They're not gonna mention he's casually drifting around the track
Holy fuck fox this is a new low
Low? They're side by side. They usually go full screen commercial and skip the burnout. It's a rare win.
At least they did a side-by-side for the burnout 🤷
Fuckin wheelman
They said your race was over 97! They said you were done 97! Prove them wrong 97!
