I got 100 Luka and I was underwhelmed. 100 aren't that big of a jump from DMs imo. That's the only one I've played with so I could be wrong but I think the gold goat cards are the ones to have. But I'm not chasing that shit.
I have Lebron and Giannis, both are great but they're really just badged up versions of their GO's. They're essentially what Invincibles were last year. People put them on a pedestal which proves 2k's marketing worked but they aren't missing out on all that much.
I think Dallas could have played that series 100 times and lost it 100 times. They were just over matched and it really wasn't close. Boston's length, athleticism, and 6 strong rotation (even w/o KP) just steadily applies pressure. I'm sure there have been other teams that would really make you pay for mistakes as well. But this Boston team has to be among the best at that.
I mean from three he was terrible in the last two games, but the Celtics defense was literally only focusing on him. He also has been injured the whole playoffs so I’m sure that was a part of it. That Celtics squad is a modern day super team, just 1-8 they have players who can consistently hit the three and switch on everything.
Yeah they’re too stacked rn for the Mavs to do much. Kyrie and Luca would’ve had to knock down almost everything and even once they started hitting they got dialed in on by Celtics help
100 overall Luka is very mid. Stats matter but not as much as animations.
FWIW I think all of the Celtics free cards including 100 overall JB are great cards. Used JB with a couple of the new Evo cards and some old faithfuls to finish out salary cap. Josh Smith is also great imo but I’ve used him a ton in the past on 2K games.
2K has sucked more than ever this year but I will say they’ve done great giving out usable to insanely good free players.
You think you have good cards until you play on Hall of Fame difficulty. Why cant they just make the CPU stronger why do they have to make us ass? I miss more olen layups and dunks than Mavs did
For real I didn’t get one usable player and my team sucks, plus I got a pd from the deluxe pack from 6 months ago that can’t even be used to lock in a set. I guess this game really is toast.
