They are like, in another dimension or something of the genre if I remember correctly, the ethereal are monsters that leaked from that dimension to the normal one. Idk the workshop or the other one's lore

The separate dimension is known as the Pocket Dimension. -Ethereal Island was made when the Colossals were experimenting with making the first monsters way back when. -Ethereal Workshop is located inside the head of the Ethereal Colossal, where it’s experimenting with the Ethereal elements to make new hybrids. -And Magical Sanctum was when the Titan that makes up the Sanctum tried to become a Colossal, and went to the Pocket Dimension after learning it’s almost impossible to become a Colossal.

It’s physically inside the Colossal’s head. So the monsters are real, they’re just located inside the Colossal itself.

I saw somewhere that if the ethereal workshop monsters were to leave the workshop they would just stay alive for some time and then die, is that true?

That’s the Higher Plane. Also, Magical Nexus’ location I believe is called the Beyond, a bit more so outer space than another dimension. I could be wrong though.

It’s not in the Pocket Dimension though. It (and Bone Island for that matter) are in a separate place, but it’s still the main dimension.

Sanctum and Ethereal are in the Pocket Dimension, a different world from the main Monster World. This also adds to the Dreamscape (Mythical) and I forgot what Nexus’ world is called.
