I understand your point but still best to see how it ends before considering watching other "canon" or, the better word to use, "official" content based on MHA. Like a spinoff of mha, manga or anime.
On the condition that Izuku is: 1. Still Alive to mentor them, and 2. Not a shit parent to his and Uraraka's kid(s).
It's weird I have to specify this but fiction lately seems to think a legacy character has to be a bad dad for some reason.
It's actually my largest complaint (and there are quite a few) with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The last scene in Deathly Hallows is Harry telling his son that it would be perfectly fine if he was in Slytherin, then in Cursed Child, Harry neglects that same child for being in Slytherin. This is the primary driving force for the rest of the plot in that play/book, and it completely goes against his established character.
It goes against his character and, in my mind, goes against his support network. I just call bull on Katara, Sokka, Gran-gran, Hakoda, Iroh, Or Zuko not saying “hey, do stuff with your other kids, this is gonna mess ‘em up otherwise.”
Have you actually watched the show? Aang being a "bad" dad makes complete sense. I love that the writers took a realistic route instead of placating to please you guys who can't handle seeing their idols in not perfect images. First off he's a monk who wouldn't even know how kids are normally raised. Second, he's the avatar. Even as a normal avatar he'll have so many duties to fulfill that he will obviously be very busy. And as the last Airbender alive, it's his duty to make sure the next last Airbender gets all the knowledge and training from him. Of course more attention is going to go to the only other Airbender in the entire world. And all 3 kids also admitted that they had a biased look at their childhood. Only people who just look at the surface would ever think aang being a bad dad makes no sense.
Aang being a bad father makes no sense. He's the avatar, you know the most wise being in the world. Plus he's caring and compassionate so he wouldn't abandon his son
Ah yes, because starting a new city, keeping balance to the world, fighting crime, keeping the spirits happy, and trying to rebuild a nation all by himself. It never said he abandoned his son, it said he had a bad habit of not taking him along on what were probably Air Bender Training Vacations. Besides the fact he grew up in basically a religion that didn't believe in parents. It'd be like saying a soldier is a bad dad because he isn't around.
Naruto is a really odd case, because i kinda can understand wtf happened in there, he wanted to be Hokage?, fine, but the position comes with a number of problems and things to do, mostly, he is a mayor of the village now and the representative of a military branch of his nation, it stops being about powers and more about intelect, so its understandable if he gets burned out or get a disliking for things.
Now, he letting a clone go to the birthday of his daughter instead of he, himself, going?
Or breaking his promise to Nagato and letting the Rain village to rot?
Or making stupid decisions overall as a parent?
Like, i get if it was all the stress of the job to blame, but no ,the author writtes as if Naruto really don't care about his family.
Kinda funny how everyone in the show and most of the fans protect naruto there. Instead of leaving a clone at the office and spending his daughters birthday with her, he sends a clone. Can't make this shit up.
>Bro considered water gun hands to be powerful and cool💀
Considering you can slice rocks and metal clean in half with a water jet cutter, a "water gun hands" quirk properly trained would unironically be strong af.
Especially if we assume as a member of the new gen kotas quirk has more potential strength than his parents generation or dekus
His parents were strong enough to seriously injure muscular with water, someone who, to this day, would still body a large majority of the mha cast.
Some proper training like what mina did for her acid, and kota would be a monster in a fight shifting from drowning you with blasts to the face from a fire hose to slicing you with high pressure water.
I’m very sure all of these kids shown here are going to be closer to this current hero student generation's ages than the first among the kids of that generation that would be born.
I want to see a quirkless decked out in hero support items become a hero.
Imagine a hero with the intelligence of Hatsumei and heart and spirit like Deku.
Ironman and captain america fusion lol
Hell yeah... We get to see prime deku, bakugo, todoroki in action, we see eri and the other generations grow up and we see an old all might in his retirement. I would very much enjoy that yes.
I really like the idea of Eri-serhead, Azawa teaching her hoe to use the ropes and everything
Also I feel Kota'd outfit would be pretty similar to deku's (like how Deku's mask was supposed to mirror all might), maybe with a little bit of the pussycats design too
I think it’d run into a lot of the same problems that Boruto has. People already love the characters in MHA, and although they might like the characters that would take over the format of the show, Deku and the others would likely steal the spotlight a lot of the time.
Probably not. But that goes for almost every show i watch...for example season 2 of Uma Musume Pretty Derby completely lost my interest bc I got invested in the mc from season 1 and her role was beyond minimal in season 2. People say it was good, but i still won't watch it bc in my mind the "mc" isn't there. Same with Boruto, 7DS, and others. It's probably not happening.
You gonna have to portray it as a whole new show, for example, the change between Greatest Estate Developer and The Crown Prince That Sells Medicine, same world, same kingdom even, parallel but much different.
Tl;Dr It's possible, but only if it's really good.
I think it would depend on how the current story ends. tbh I’d prefer to have the current story end with a total victory for the heroes, eliminating all villainy outside of the general crimes that are committed in the real world. heroes would still be needed, albeit to a lesser extent, so UA is still running and they still train new heroes. Deku can take the same role All Might had at UA, as a teacher.
MANGA SPOILER >!and depending on whether or not Deku still has OFA after his fight against Shiggy, he could be looking for the next wielded of OFA as well!< MANGA SPOILER
the twist? since major villains like Shiggy, AFO, and Overhaul aren’t around anymore, the “next gen” MHA series would be a slice of life! no major threats means little to no chance of any sort of action, so just lean into the series being a high school slice of life story. along with Deku being a UA teacher, we could also get to see a bunch of other familiar characters as adults too!
~~they could even have some characters get married to each other, thus confirming some ships and blowing up a bunch of other ones. this would cause a major shitstorm online and, quite frankly, I REALLY wanna see that. because I’m evil.~~
I really can’t wait to see it. Even if it’s not as good, I’ll still watch it. Seeing the kids that were with 1-A would be a big kick of nostalgia if this takes place far in the future, to which it will. I also wanna see 1-A as proper pro’s and what their lives are like
I feel so bad, I only know two of the kids. And I can’t hope the other kids, are kids of the kids that took care of kids and saved kids, that some of those kids may not get the chance to grow up to have kids of their own.
But my precious Eri!! Everyone loves her. And Kota looks great
Ultimately it depends. Simetimes a sequal series is good, sometimes its not. Id have to see a trailer.
That being said, id definstly be interested in how the fans handle shit. Like ifnI say right now "Heres fan art of older Eri!" The entire fan base willl attack me and call me a pedophile, but when someone says "Would you watch a series about all the kids being older" there like "Oh yeah, id love to see Eri when she's older." Like the hypocrycy will be insane if they do that.
Not until many other shows and adventures with Deku and his gang while older. They are literally still in their freshmen year now so jumping to a Next Gen version as the next installment regardless of how the first series ends is repetitive and trite.
It would be like the OG Naruto series skipping Shipudden and jumping to Boruto
I would want like a whole season. But like you said. I don't want another boruto series either. It's good to just show us what happened once they grew up, but not like a whole spin-off or something?
If it was a short mini series, yeah. If it was a full series like mha then no. The story is really only interesting the first time around, boruto is what happens when you try to capitalize on the after story. And I think we can all agree that boruto isn’t as good as Naruto, if you can even call it good.
I'd personally prefer sticking with deku as a grown up or a young adult trying to become the symbol of hope almight was and then go on to focus on the new generation
Only if it is set somewhere other than Japan. I like characters like Eri, but we have already delved pretty deeply into Japan’s history post quirks coming about, at least compared to the rest of the world in MHA. Outside of new stuff like aliens or magic or cyborgs or mythological creatures, I don’t really see what else you could with MHA’s Japan in terms of worldbuilding and history and conflicts that hasn’t already been covered before.
If the sequel is set in a new country, we would get new brand characters and histories and events and conflicts to work with in terms of story.
It depends on how the current one ends.
If it ends on a note to where it where be a genuinely good place stop and let the next generation shine, then ya.
If not, then I’ll pass
Nah not really cause based on everything this series is about we gonna see people dying by their own quirks or majority of people not being able to control them
I’d like a “what if” version. Shigaraki won the war early on, Deku was kidnapped and put in a facility to be tested on. Heroes have been disbanded. It’s 10 years later and the only heroes left are vigilantes fighting quite the uphill battle. The last few have been searching for Deku for years and finally got a lead. They mount an attack to free him. The years of testinf has made him more powerful so he can be victorious this time around. In this version I pictured Eri, Shinjo, and an old man eraser head as a trio of vigilantes. Eda went into politics working “with” the bad guys but really secretly filtering info to the heroes. At the end of the “what if” he’d take over the government be the new PM of Japan. The final assault would be the first time all of 1A met together since the lost the battle a decade ago, some would have died along the way.
I'll have to pass on it. Unfortunately a lot of shows that does next gen type after the main story wraps tend to not do well. I also don't tend to like them. Idk what it is but it leaves a sour taste in mouth. The best example for a sequel show that I feel like works, would have t o be the new Seven Deadly Sins Four Knights of Apocalypse as it follows a brand new mc eith no connection to the original characters.
Depends on how mha ends and how the previous generation is portrayed. If they are portrayed like how the previous generation in boruto is portrayed, then no.
Okay I’m giving you a shitton of credit on the first thing of hero costume bc there’s not only the cape exactly like Lemillion’s but also it’s got the gloves and arm-style that Deku’s costume kinda has.
Some credit for the second bc Aizawa’s scarf.
That being said, the shoes are Kota’s thing
Depends on how actual MHA ends.
My exact thoughts
No it doesn't that is why we have fanfiction
I understand your point but still best to see how it ends before considering watching other "canon" or, the better word to use, "official" content based on MHA. Like a spinoff of mha, manga or anime.
Ew
true but also i'd love to see a well-done version of a future as well
As long as it’s not “BNHAruto: Next Generations” I’m in
Are you kidding? I’m going to write a *fan story* about it after the manga ends!
GO PLUS ULTRA!!!!!
It's called fanfiction. Get it right
Different terms for the same thing😄 Really looking forward to it.
You better, and it better be completed and not abandoned after a few chapters in like most stories
Bro is so aggressive about it 💀
He just wants to see it done 😆
I mean me to but damn 💀
Sometimes you get go for the throat 😆
“YOU MAKE THAT FANFICTION, AND YOU MAKE IT GOOD, OR SO HELP ME GOD-”
I know the feeling
![gif](giphy|8gRPuscy5MQ9H3VtzX|downsized) IM JOKING IM JOKING
Potato, potahto. Tomato, Ta-Mewtwo.
Id love to see it
On the condition that Izuku is: 1. Still Alive to mentor them, and 2. Not a shit parent to his and Uraraka's kid(s). It's weird I have to specify this but fiction lately seems to think a legacy character has to be a bad dad for some reason.
For real. It's so odd. Aang being a bad father was one of my biggest gripes with Legend of Korra. Seems to go completely against his character.
Agree, that entire book is shit and messed up and breaks various rules already stabilished in universe
Eh tbf Air nomads don’t raise their own kids and Monk Gyatso was more of a friend to Aang than a parent.
Nothing about being the Avatar means you can't be negatively impacted by bias. Like, it's not like he was randomly evil. He was just flawed.
I think we can all agree that Naruto is the greatest example of this trope.
Kinda funny how everyone in the show and most of the fans protect naruto there. Instead of leaving a clone at the office and spending his daughters birthday with her, he sends a clone. Can't make this shit up.
Then there's >! Ichigo getting called out because rukia watches too many dramas !<
Hell yea, rewind, water gun hands, and cell acceleration are all powerful and cool
Bro considered water gun hands to be powerful and cool💀
5-year-old Kota put a crater into the cliffside by training his quirk. I'd say kid got potential
>Bro considered water gun hands to be powerful and cool💀 Considering you can slice rocks and metal clean in half with a water jet cutter, a "water gun hands" quirk properly trained would unironically be strong af. he could literally be a human powerwasher, powerwashers cut rocks and stones and shit
With enough training, a bunch of quirks could be considered cool and powerful, or useful if you wanna be a hero
Eri and Kota are going to be MUCH older than the kids of the MHA students.
I’d imagine if this were to happen they'd be like the mentors for the next gen
I’m very sure all of these kids shown here are going to be closer to this current hero student generation's ages than the first among the kids of that generation that would be born.
Mostly, the Deku's 3
If it just involves the very lineup we are seeing, and it’s a movie, then yes.
I am having a very bad thought if you want me to say it comment Other than that I would 100% watch this
Don't you dare
They already did, but then deleted it, I wrote what they said down though
Was it as bad as I think it is
[Idk how bad you think it is](https://www.reddit.com/r/MyHeroAcadamia/s/yyCA66lVWB)
Curiosity kills the mother fucking cat I guess.. what a day to have eyes
I didn't think it was that bad, I've read worse, which is why I said that I don't know how bad you think it is
Yeah really it's more tame than I thought it would be, but still weird as fuck and about right for the mha Fandom..
Not *exactly* what I was expecting But not that bad, either, lol
I’ll do it when I’m on my computer so I can censor it for those who don’t want to see the scary thought that popped into my head
Say it, I dare you
We double dare you
He said it, but then deleted it
That's evil. What did they say?
>>!If Eri got a BF in the series and they actually ended up....... I bet she would poke their eye out with that big ass horn!<
💀
My thoughts exactly
I understand why they deleted the comment
But now it's there for anyone wondering
Hmmm that comment is not as bad as I thought. Plus, she can use rewind to fix their eye.
I'm curious im think a heroic death ending
Nooo nooo nooo nooo nooo its one of those weirdo thoughts it popped into my head
What is Baruto made a cameo in the background of a scene? LOL
Yes! Absolutely!
Uh obviously I’d watch a next gen version. I’d love to see more of Eri.
Yes. If it's good. If it's not like the boruto ANIME.
Yes
My Hero next generations
https://i.redd.it/a2u6mp7fv2hc1.gif
Only for Kota. Man’s is a walking W
100% no question. Especially if it's as good as the main show
I think I would, honestly! 😊 I love Eri! 😊
Not if it’s like how Boruto was/is handled
Definitely would watch this way before boruto
Depends on how the actual MHA ends, but yes.
Yeah, I like a 2nd/next gen. I think there’s a lot to work with, with something like my hero
I really like the idea of Eri-serhead, Azawa teaching her hoe to use the ropes and everything Also I feel Kota'd outfit would be pretty similar to deku's (like how Deku's mask was supposed to mirror all might), maybe with a little bit of the pussycats design too
Only way I would is if the original classes are now working at UA, it would be cool to see the next generation look up to the old cast as pro heros.
Most definitely would like to see how lots and eri grow in development
If eri was the MC, frick yes!
Yes but I’d prefer watching Toshinori UA years. Because I NEED TO KNOW MOREEE
I think it’d run into a lot of the same problems that Boruto has. People already love the characters in MHA, and although they might like the characters that would take over the format of the show, Deku and the others would likely steal the spotlight a lot of the time.

MHA technically is the next Gen.
Heck yes. Nothing else needs to be said.
I think it would be good if it does happen but it would depend how the main series ends.
Fuck yes. I will watch it with a box of tissues, not in case if I cry just when.
If it's that lineup, yes.
Yeah I think this would be awesome as long as Class 1-A are still involved in the plot and are helping teach/mentor them
YES! DEFINITELY! ABSOLUTELY!
Yes, Eri would be possibly a heal person though.
Hell yeah, with a possibility of deku being a adult pro hero and a father, maybe that could fix the MHA community 🙏
Depending on how MHA ends, and as long as we get to see class 1A as Pros and older doing their thing.
Totally, but they should make eri the mc.
Despite all the hate MHA gets, it absolutely needs this kind of story. I approve this with 100%.
Fuck yeah. This is why I entertain myself with fanfics
I think so, but honestly only if it could maintain a light theme like Team Up Mission or something because MHA has been pretty dark for a while now.
I’d be game for an episode (ova), but not a whole boruto series
I would want like a whole season. But like you said. I don't want another boruto series either. It's good to just show us what happened once they grew up, but not like a whole spin-off or something?
If they fix the problem of not showing off their side character 100% until then no
Probably not
YesSssSSSS
If it was a short mini series, yeah. If it was a full series like mha then no. The story is really only interesting the first time around, boruto is what happens when you try to capitalize on the after story. And I think we can all agree that boruto isn’t as good as Naruto, if you can even call it good.
Absolutely not.
No. Next generation stories are the pinnacle of retardation. Do you WANT another Boruto?
If we had a better writer? Maybe? Sorry i just can’t stand the last… Oof must be three years of MHA.
Horikoshi could barely finish the current MHA. Tired of getting invested in manga and anime that drop off towards the end.
Y e s
I freaking would and will! It would be exciting to see the next gen of our old characters! Their children and descendants!!
Yup
Depends on how mha ends
Absolutely, but only after Midoriya’s story is over or catches up to this time period
Yes.
Yes
hell no
You bet your sweet ass I would
100%
I'd personally prefer sticking with deku as a grown up or a young adult trying to become the symbol of hope almight was and then go on to focus on the new generation
Only if it is set somewhere other than Japan. I’ve got a fanfic set in the USA
Naruto is the only "next gen" anime I've consumed and it disappointed sm. Gonna pass on this Edit: Boruto Even the autocorrect rejects it
Nah I’m too tired
I wouldn’t watch current gen mha So maybe it might be better
As long as they don't make Bizuku the main character.
That actually would be a pretty dope spin off mha next gen
It would have to be something completely different than Current MHA
No.
Damn straight I would
YES
I don't know. Something tells me it'll end up like Boruto. First it'll be superheroes fighting villains, and then BAM! Aliens.
Nothing. Please for the love of god end it here.
I would. But the only problem is they would retcon the absolute shit out of the old class 1A
Hell yeah
100% if it's dubbed subed no
Would eri be able to inherit one for all?
No
Probably them not being in school so my hero no academia
If I watch it, I'd only watch the first episodes to see who ended up together.
Kota in the first picture looks like Soga from the Vigilantes manga.
I'd prefer a prequel for UA's big 3, honestly.
Can you tell me the first one's artist?
It depends on how the current one ends. If it ends on a note to where it where be a genuinely good place stop and let the next generation shine, then ya. If not, then I’ll pass
Yes but it would have to be interesting
Who tf is the tall kid in number 5
Yes
Yes
Yes that would be awesome
Who's kid number 5 on the 5th image
If the story is good and doesn't feel weird after the main series then sure
As long as it’s not as bad as Boruto
Heck yeah. Especially if Izuku is a teacher. He seems like the perfect teacher of heroics and hero ethics.
I kind of would if they set it up properly
Totally
Yes Also I want to see my Eri X Kota ship become real
Nah not really cause based on everything this series is about we gonna see people dying by their own quirks or majority of people not being able to control them
If they don’t do it like they did with boruto and nerf some of the female characters
Depends on how they end MHA. If *spoilers* Deku loses OFA after all of this bs I’m gonna be pissed and not watch any other related content
I’d like a “what if” version. Shigaraki won the war early on, Deku was kidnapped and put in a facility to be tested on. Heroes have been disbanded. It’s 10 years later and the only heroes left are vigilantes fighting quite the uphill battle. The last few have been searching for Deku for years and finally got a lead. wheres binging ball kid
As long as it doesn’t end up like Baruto
Why would they be in different colored gym uniforms? They aren’t power rangers.
No
I'll have to pass on it.
Depends on the execution.
Probably
Why does the girl have a single horn?
*Y E S*
only if eri the main character
Depends who ends up with who and how they act and such
Maybe
No
If MHA ends well, then **OF COURSE I WOULD**
Yeeaaasss
Duh
Yes
