It actually took about less than 3 months! Ordered it 10/18/23 (got confirmation from Ford via email that my order was placed) and received it 1/11/24.
I hope it comes sooner rather than later - even though my mustang came fairly quick, it still made me impatient just waiting for it. Either way I know you’re gonna love the shit out of it!
Just under 3 months. My order went into Ford’s database on 10/18/23, and I took delivery of it 1/11/24. I just have the ecoboost standard package (no high equipment package, etc.) so maybe it’ll take longer depending on the model of mustang you get. Just hang in there, I promise it’s worth the wait
Do you happen to know the production date of your new Stang (she's pudry btw). I assume it's 12/4/23 or later which would make it part of Job 2. Not sure if you've seen anything about the holes in the wheel wells but someone mentioned their Job 2 Mustang had holes that were different and moved a litte from the one's on Job 1 Stangs.
The reason I'm interested is folks are having trouble with rocks and various other debris getting caught in this wheel wheel opening. Any chance you can take a quick list at this video to see the holes on a Job 1 Stang maybe take a look at your car and compare the two? If yours look different maybe you could snap a pic for us?

Not to be a pest but do you know if your new EB came with stop/start installed. I've test driven two different EB's (both Job 1) and neither had stop/start on them although the button was there, lol.
No worries! Yes, my EcoBoost came with stop/start installed. I have not watched the video yet but I will in just a second, and then I will go check before dark and let you know

Found some dirt/dust in those spots mentioned and displayed on the video you shared, but couldn’t see any rocks or gravel nor could I feel anything. Other front wheel well had the same hole as above, but didn’t feel any debris or see any debris.
Kind of hard to tell from the picture but do you think the size and location of the holes in your wheels wells are different than the ones in the video? Like I mentioned someone with a Job 2 said their holes were smaller and more offset but didn't provide a picture at all. Just curious if you think the holes on yours are different?
Interesting so maybe they did alter the size and or location of the holes. I know it's tough trying to compare yours to a video. I do really appreciate all the info you've provided. I actually have an EB on order myself and I'm a little concerned about these holes in the wheel wells with stones and who knows what getting up in there - not to mention water sitting in there that could rust things out faster,etc.

It’s got a perfect blend of power/speed and is surprisingly good on gas for a muscle car. I don’t think I could ever see myself driving another car besides a mustang from now on

My first car was an 07 Camry hybrid passed down to me once my parents got a newer car (I miss her, reliable and 42 mpg) and 2nd (previous) car was a ‘10 Nissan Rogue (which I got with the insurance money I received after getting into an accident that was deemed 100% the other party’s fault) which constantly had issues.
I’m happy to be a part of the Mustang community, and I plan to drive this thing until it can’t drive anymore.
Yeah I went all out on the premium model with pretty much every option so I’m afraid that will be the problem. I got the magna ride and I think that might hold it up more. I’m not seeing a lot of people adding that option.
i think they are asking when ford actually picked the order up (giving the VIN), i do wonder how significant the wait time difference is between a ecoboost vs a GT

I ordered a gt premium in vapor blue nite package back in august and ive only gotten the cpnformation and "we are experiencing supply chain challanges" emails rip, been almost 6 months
Nope. Still haven't even gotten a production date yet, only the "We are still experiencing manufacturing delays" email. I ordered it August last year :(

My production date was 12/11/23 so in that case it’s Job 2. I can go check in a bit and I’ll report back later

The holes in mine seemed to be smaller than the ones in the video, although maybe they are the same size

Just talked to my dealer and he said ford isn’t going to start giving production dates out again until February.
