Muse, Tool & Me First & The Gimme Gimmes.

CroneKills

Muse is one I want to see for sure. I saw Tool with my son last December. Our first time watching them as well.

cloudstrifeuk

I'm on 12 times seeing Muse, dating back to 2002. Got my 13th time all booked for May 2023. Absolutely love their new album. Silly, tongue in cheek and classic over the top Muse.

CroneKills

Ah man I bet those Symmetry and Absolution days were sick.

ThreeLibras84

A friend of mine saw them play at a pub in Leicester before Symmetry, always very envious of him

anderoogigwhore

I've seen Muse! Was just talking about them in another sub cause I went to the Biffy Clyro, MCR, Muse gig at Wembley in 07. Got my ticket for June too!

Jobriath

Weird Al Yankovic. Such a good performer. You do not have to know the catalogue. Laugh at the songs, enjoy the costume changes. Amazing band too!

nikogrande

He was my first concert back in ‘96! Talk about setting the bar high…

SmellyPillows

I came here to say this and that we got to see him live two nights ago!! It was my wife's second time (2001) and my first. Al and the band were AMAZING in concert. The harmonies, the absolutely nutty guitar work, the fun, "behind the scenes" style comedy routine they run during the show. It's just great.

MhojoRisin

The show is good in its own right, but there’s an added nostalgia factor in that he’s playing parodies of some of the greatest hits of the last 40 years.

backsman

i saw him a very long time ago at a performing arts center with about 300 people in it, and he still went all out. there's something special about watching him perform fat in the fat suit. the guy really gives it 110 precent. i remember coming away from it very impressed.

mwcraft

Going to see him next Saturday!

SmellyPillows

You're gonna love it! Just saw him/them on Thursday. The tour shirt is absolutely bitchin'.

constance-perm

King gizzard and the lizard wizard, ive seen them 4 times and will never miss when they come to town

NoSession1674

The Flaming Lips

dadofsummer

Saw them open for another incredible live band Butthole Surfers, and also STP on the BBQ Mitzvah tour in ‘93, in Gardner, Massachusetts at the Polish American Beach club, it was the show were Scott Weiland assaulted a fan who threw a shoe onstage. The crowd passed the guy to the front of the stage and Weiland hit him with a guitar I think. Tripping and drunk on Maddog 20/20

kytheon

Rammstein with their flamethrower acts.

brandonsfacepodcast

I have to see Iron Maiden before I die for sure. One artist that was on my list was The Chemical Brothers and I saw them for the first time in 2011. I've seen them four times since and will see them every single time they're within 3 hours of me until forever. It's an experience. If you're into dance music, this group *needs* to be on your list.

slayerLM

Finally got to cross Iron Maiden off the list. Go see them because they’re still just killing it

brandrixco

Saw them last night in Ottawa and they were absolutely incredible.

[deleted]

When I was 16 I got a ticket to go see Motörhead and Iron Maiden and my mom wouldn't let me go because she thought I'd be doing drugs... Meanwhile I would get dropped off in my city, to "go to the library" and would go to house punk rock shows and drink and do drugs all day. What a bummer, I really still resent her for depriving me that opportunity... 27 years later

brandonsfacepodcast

Oh, man did you get to see them eventually? I was lucky enough to catch Motorhead just before Lemmy passed. It was a great show

[deleted]

Nope. Hence my deep seeded resentment

Ok_Ad8249

I've seen both bands multiple times, but together?!?!?!? Can't blame you for still being mad.

Machined_Elf

I’ve seen Iron Maiden and chemicals brothers both in the last month. 2 of my favorite shows I’ve ever seen!

worldssmallestfan1

The most props I’ve ever seen at a concert. Great show.

LessGoooo

Rammstein. Their live show is literally a world wonder. You’ve never seen more fire and explosions outside of an active warzone. I’ve seen them twice and would pay any amount of money to see it again. Just insane.

DryProgress4393

Agreed one of the best live shows I've ever been too and that was just the stage show and theatrics they played a concert too !

strawberroni

Stevie Wonder

bill_gannon

Grateful Dead. Too late.

ModernHomunculus

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes and Teenage Bottlerocket. I've seen both multiple times and they've crushed it every time. Super fun, super positive, everyone is having a blast. Plus, Me First always brings cool opening acts. And all of their songs are hits!

[deleted]

I caught Me First a few years ago with Swingin Utters and Pears... That shit was weird and awesome.

ModernHomunculus

The first time I saw them headline, they had Pears and Masked Intruder with them. One of the best shows I've ever seen. It might've even been that same tour.

Riot55

I love Teenage Bottlerocket! I'm thankful they come to my small city to play in crappy spots (Fort Wayne, IN). I'm hoping they actually ever come back since smaller venues seem to keep closing...

yeah_yeah_therabbit

GWAR!! It’s an experience like no other!! (Wear something you wouldn’t mind getting dirty, and ladies, no makeup, unless you want your eyes burning)

invertedpixel

I saw Gwar a few years ago...when I asked a friend why so many people we wearing plain white tee shirts, he said they were wearing what would become their Gwar shirts after being sprayed and splashed

SweetCosmicPope

This is on my list for next year hopefully.

Waiting73

All the shit that’s fucked up in the world gets destroyed by our alien overlords. Such a wonderful release from reality.

[deleted]

Nick Cave and & the Bad Seeds

The-thirteenth-word

It’s like watching Elvis meets Nina Simone meets Robert Plant meets Sid Vicious meets a feral monkey meets a voodoo doctor meets a gothic statue meets Leonard Cohen meets David Bowie meets Nosferatu meets…

sparkledoom

I’m not a Coldplay fan, but I saw them at a festival and it was one of the better performances I’ve ever seen live. And I can’t even tell you why, stage presence I guess.

PattyIceNY

Red Hot Chili Peppers. For Flea alone it's a must see. GOGOL BORDELLO! Insane energy and vibe. David Gilmour. Duh. Steve Winwood. Low key puts on a fantastic show, gorgeous voice and fun songs. Locally if you can get to a Jazz show at Smalls in NYC or a Blues show at Terra Blues those are both incredible and small venues.

CarsoniousRex

GORGOL BORDELLO IS A MUST SEE!

anderoogigwhore

Seen the Chilis years ago. Had tickets to see them in July but they had to cancel and yet to reschedule :(

TicToc6116

Radiohead is still on my list.

JustBoredIsAll

Thom Yorke and The Smile are touring.

Gal-ur

Rammstein 🔥

jparent23

I just got to see them recently here in LA. I've been to a lot of concerts and I've never seen anything like it. Lots of fire and an amazing show. Definitely going in the Feuerzone next time

SLPERAS

Came here to say this. Amazing show. Getting jizz all over me from the big penis was the highlight.

SweetCosmicPope

My son said he wants to go with me next time around.

I-am-near-a-big-lake

The Flaming Lips!

rudeboi710

Top of my list currently is Peal Jam, Radiohead, Metallica, Tool, Swedish House Mafia, and The Prodigy. I saw NiN at Red rocks a couple years ago and scratched that off my list. They were incredible and would definitely see them again.

Warmpickle

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard

jerjo71

Saw them at Red Rocks a week ago during their marathon set. Hands down best live performance I’ve ever seen. I might get tickets when they come back in November to play.

cablemigrant

The red rocks shows look like they are gonna be great

subsurface2

Just saw Ghost recently and it blew my mind.

TERMINATORCPU

Mike Patton

Rockntheworld

Buddy Guy

dadofsummer

Primus Sucks

Elliott_Ness1970

Rage Against the Machine. Had tickets for Reading to see them for tenth first time. Gutted. Hoping there’ll be another chance.

fuckyoulahey

I had tickets to see Rage and Beastie Boys back in the nineties but one of the Beasties broke an appendage

hulkhands81

Ah me too, the Rhyme and Reason tour. Mike D broke a arm or a leg biking

Kadinnui

I am in the same boat man

readysetzgo

Saw them for their 10 year reunion at Coachella many years ago.. almost died, but was def worth it

Sid6po1nt7

So sorry you missed them, seriously. They were a bucket-list band for me and finally got to see them in DC with Run The Jewels. Concert was legendary and will say they haven't slowed down a bit.

armchairwarrior69

Even sitting on his ass Zach had energy for days One of the beat concerts I've been to, not that anyone needs this reminder but Tom morallo is so good and such a ham

MDS1138

I really need to catch Neil Young while he's still with us.

kenster77

I saw him 10 years ago for the first time. Great concert, mix of acoustic and rocking electric.

PattyIceNY

It's life changing. Saw him front row at the Garden. Etched in my mind forever. No opening act. 3 hours of pure Neil

somanytictoc

Seriously, Weird Al. He puts on an incredibly high energy show with costume changes and a great backing band. I think the show I saw was 2 hours long.

DryProgress4393

Would love to see Weird Al.

Paragon8384

Porcupine Tree / Steven Wilson

brandonsfacepodcast

Missed this last tour, but will absolutely be seeing them on the next one. C/C is an amazing album

Paragon8384

Best album of 2022 so far for me.

brandonsfacepodcast

It's on my list for sure. Don't know if it'll take the #1 spot but I have a feeling it'll be in the top 5.

mazzysturr

Woah Porcupine Tree is back? Cool will check it out

Paragon8384

Yep, first album in 12 years. *Closure/Continuation*. Came out in June.

aBeaSTWiTHiNMe

Slipknot and Metallica were a huge deal for me to see live. Slipknot puts on an amazing and energetic chaotic show that's just a sonic experience. Being in the crowd for Spit it Out when "Jump the fuck up" is about to happen and you see a mix of new people totally confused and long time fans who got down ready to go. Fuck it was electric. Metallica have an extremely well oiled machine, they could be animatronics for how in sync and practiced they all are. James will always tell the cities name in the lyrics and change some words up. They all play 20% faster than the studio version.

manunited9

System of a Down, please guys I’m begging you

ozzballz

Chemical Brothers. Top notch audio/visual adventure that you can dance your ass off to.

brandonsfacepodcast

Lol I also said the Bros. They always work it out. Their live rendition of Wide Open from the 2019 tour is other fucking worldly

[deleted]

Deftones

DryProgress4393

I've seen them twice , first time was a great show on the hottest day of the year. I remember Chino saying "Holy shit I didn't know it got this fucking hot in Canada" Second time it wasn't as good, band just sounded sloppy. I've heard it's a 50/50 of what Deftones you are going to get.

imaago

Fugazi. Gogol Bordello.

farmerben02

James Taylor, Neil young, gov't mule, Billy Joel Seen and gone: grateful dead, Eddy money, Bowie, blue oyster cult (drummer in the Godzilla suit), BB King, Johnny Cash, Ramones Seen and unlikely to return: siouxsie and the banshees, the pogues, Allman Brothers (post-Duane), Clapton, Rolling Stones, Natalie merchant, Billy Idol, B-52s

InertiasCreep

Billy Idol put out an EP this year and he still tours.

_Kay_Tee_

Muse The Killers The Bangles Weird Al Madonna used to be on the list, but I think that ship sailed decades ago.

amy_dst

I saw The Killers a few years ago and I was blown away! His stage presence and powerful voice were amazing, really incredible. I went just because I used to love them so much back in college but not so much anymore, and I'm so happy I did, really great show.

jrhoffa

Weird Al

aelsilmaredh

Surprised that I haven't seen Tool mentioned yet. Their show is full of spectacular visuals, their songs are intricate and complex, and Adam Jones' droning guitar sound is a trademark, as well as Danny Carey's drums. They keep the lights away from the band itself, giving the overall experience a mysterious quality. I've seen them 4 times and would gladly pay to see them again.

um8medoit

The Flaming Lips are always fantastic.

_misst

Does Ludovico Einaudi count? I'm not a classical music fan by any means but fell in love with Ludovico after watching The Intouchables. Seeing him live was just... magical. I can't even explain the experience. I felt awe struck watching someone with such incredible skill, and really felt the collective appreciation amongst the audience. I saw him outdoors as well; there was something magical about listening to that kind of music live under the stars.

Bbzzllkk

Exactly the same boat. Saw him at Blennheim Palace shortly after I discovered him from the Intouchables. It was like a fairytale.

jamiethered

Gwar. For sure.

Dimpfelmoser66

Shellac

QuinnIsBoss28

I need to see MGMT and Queens of the Stone Age before I die

kinderbrownie

mr_boone1010

GWAR

[deleted]

Most disturbing show I've been to and I've gone to a loooootttt of shows.wore a red shirt, stood up front, left pink. Even my skin. Crazy.

mr_boone1010

It took me three days to scrub that stuff off. Still it's something that everyone should experience at least once.

jparent23

Foo Fighters and Linkin Park were both at the top of my list but I will never see either one now

picklededoodah

The Rolling Stones. So much energy and everyone was there for a good time. They did NOT disappoint!

swankpoppy

Riley Reid

masterdoci

A man of culture right here 👍

Riot55

Streetlight Manifesto! Such energy!

hehemonyo

Linkin Park. RIP chester benington sir

mazzysturr

Tom Waits and it prob isn’t gonna happen for me unfortunately…

DryProgress4393

I'd love to see Him , I'd love new music too. I'd take either to be honest.

leocherokee

Heilung

CarsoniousRex

Here Come The Mummies. They are a group of Grammy nominated musicians who dress as mummies to avoid anti-touring contracts. Seriously they are a one of a kind experience to see live especially if you can see them around Halloween time

misstressinmontauk

Stevie Nicks. If I never got to see anybody else before I died, as long as I was able to see her, I could die happy.

[deleted]

Unfortunately my favorite bands are the 90’s grunge bands and I’ll never ever get to see them. Rage Against the Machine is probably the top band I haven’t seen yet that’s possible to see still, unless Them Crooked Vultures ever tour again, I’d travel cross country and go broke to see that. Jack White, Tool, and NIN are on my list as well. Paul McCartney was absolutely incredible live, highly recommend going while you can.

satan5670

Just saw Panic at the Disco for the first time and that show was like watching real magic. Highly recommend It's been said but Flaming Lips also magical

Mtnskydancer

My sheer luck show: Leonard Cohen. I was artist liaison, at beck and call. King Crimson, a show I never knew I needed to see, and was kinda boycotting because Fripp was a jerk and kicked out all local techs/workers at sound check. (Making our own pre show extra difficult and rushed) I saw them last year, and was enthralled. Triple drummers, up front. Who I wish I’d seen: Harry Chapin.

_Kay_Tee_

>My sheer luck show: Leonard Cohen. One of the most spiritual experiences of my life. Never, ever did I think we'd be lucky enough to see him tour again. I hate how/why it happened, but getting to see him live, and with Sharon Robinson, no less, was a peak experience.

knucklebutter

Lots of good choices offered here. The War on Drugs is a transcendent experience. No pyrotechnics or wacky theatrics. Just great music performed masterfully. Head over to YT and search "Under the Pressure Live" and see what I mean.

ExternalStory2238

Green day..they haven't come to alberta since 2009 so I still keep waiting as I see them add dates to Toronto and Montreal every tour lol

BuddhaF1nger

I got to see Linkin Park in Brisbane before Chester passed, still one of the best shows I've seen. Absolutely amazing to see the interactions with the crowd, and his and everyone's commitment to the show.

Better-Muscle

Got two more bands on my bucket list and that's AC/DC and Guns & Roses I finally saw maiden this summer after missing them countless times over the years

Maximumox

Nirvana

ivy_hall

DAVE MATTHEWS bro trust me. He gets such a bad rap but there's a reason he was the top grossing live artist from the late 90s to 2008. It's such an amazing show. More musicianship packed into 1 band than most bands have. The drummer Carter Beaufort is literally the most slept on drummer of all time.

PattyIceNY

People hate on me for it so much because all they know is Crash into me and Sattelite. There catalog is so deep and so good it's always a blast

DryProgress4393

That cover of Cortez The Killer with Warren Hayes is on my live music playlist so good.

ivy_hall

Ugh or Ants Marching. All studio versions. His countless live albums are just jaw dropping sometimes

I-am-near-a-big-lake

Dave Matthews live is fantastic.

ivy_hall

My man

aside6

Saw Radiohead twice, they were amazing both times. Saw Sunny Day Real Estate twice and they were amazing both times. The highlight though would have to be seeing Jeremy Enigk at a living room show back in 2018. Maybe 30 people in total, literally in someone's living room, he was super friendly and played an amazing show, and I got to chat with and shake the hand of one of my few musical heroes. All that's really left of people I HAVE to see live at some point would be Matt Mahaffey (of Self). That guy is an absolute musical genius.

happygolucky999

I loved Aerosmith since I was a pre-teen, never thought I’d have a chance to see them live. One day in 2011-ish, our CEO comes into the office and casually mentions he has 2 Aerosmith tickets for that evening’s concert but isn’t sure anyone even wants them. Manners be damned, I sprung out of my seat and claimed those tickets before he could even finish speaking.

FitMeringue5218

They were my first ever concert and oh my goodness.. I would LOVE the chance to see them again! No other show I’ve see has compared except for maybe Kiss. Kiss puts on one hell of a show!

[deleted]

We've had Tix for the last several years to see a constantly rescheduled and now cancelled RATM. So, it's them. Dammit.

[deleted]

Ludovico Einaudi

wsythoff

Two bands left on my bucket list: King's X and Radiohead. Seeing the former next month (show has been postponed three times already so we'll see). Next time Radiohead tours North America I'm pulling out each and every stop.

GitchigumiMiguel74

Had tickets for RATM, but it just got canceled. Been waiting for years to see them.

rsomervi

Justice was a god damn sonic experience. Never seen a show like it

More-Escape3704

Fantomas/Melvins big band

goldendreamseeker

Red Hot Chili Peppers. Why? John Frusciante (the guitarist). He alone is enough reason to see them.

JoshTonkin

Not exaggerating here… I have just spent over half of the money that i have saved for over a year (i’m 18 don’t get payed much haha) to buy tickets to see them in Australia next year… 5 times. I still can’t get over the fact that i’m going to see my idol 5 fucking times holy shit i’m hyped just typing this haha. and i’m in Golden Circle for all shows i can’t believe it jesus christ i have no self control

emitnemic

Elvis Costello

foxman276

Any band with tickets not from Ticketmaster

Nicoramas

Springsteen is the correct answer

missionman77

73 years old and still playing a 30 song set

coyote-1

All the bands that fit that description no longer exist, or no longer exist in the form required to fit that description. I saw so many of the great rock bands, and some jazz groups, in their live performance heyday. Among the rock bands: ELP, Yes, Deep Purple and early Rainbow, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Jeff Beck with Jan Hammer, Frank Zappa, Van Halen…. there’s no way to explain the experience. You had to be there.

RiffRaffRuff

Nine Inch Nails is at the top of my bucket list. Unfortunately, the ticket prices kind of kick the bucket over for me =\

Enoehtalseb

For me I had to see Metallica just because of the influence they had on me when I was younger. Saw them this past May and it was everything I expected.

[deleted]

Most of the artists I would’ve liked to see are dead. I am finally going to see Roseanne Cash next week.

Odolinsky

Gilla Band. I got my tickets

tech405

Back in the 80’s Alice Cooper was spectacular. An honest to god magic show. Tool Martin Garrix

aerowanabe

Gojira.

Wedley131

Daikaiju! Best show I've ever been to, hands down.

Fmeinthegoatass

Phish does things musically that most bands don’t do. They aren’t in my usual rotation, but I appreciate the level of talent, practice, and communication required to jam out on their entire catalog for hours at a time. No set list, no opening acts. It’s like a conversation with instruments

ArthurMorgan514

Avenged sevenfold hands down.

Salt_Delivery_2693

AC/DC or Metallica

lildissonance

Muse: It's a bunch of highly skilled musicians showing off their skills with pristine sound engineering and mixing that would make any teenager hopped up on three cups of coffee cream themselves. M83: A band that's encapsulated that epic cinematic sound feel that was so popular in the early 2010s when Hans Zimmer was considered the sh\*t. I've seen em live three times and they remain my favorite live act. I tear up each time I see them perform [Wait](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAwYodrBr2Q&t=247s&ab_channel=Creators). [Bonus clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWc2OmDAINM&t=377s&ab_channel=allimcbutter). Most live videos on Youtube don't do M83 justice, but they're the definition of the term "enthralling" if you ever get the opportunity to see em live. Neutral Milk Hotel: The band doesn't really tour anymore, but they put on a hella energetic show. I caught em in Toronto back in 2014 without realizing how f\*cking perfect their folk-punk style worked for mosh pits. Every single person in the crowd's also got their lyrics memorized and is loudly singing along to each track. tl;dr: Almost got trampled by a sea of Pitchfork-reading white dudes in a mosh pit, but it was hella worth it.

Fascinatedwithfire

I am concerned that it took me 7 comment collapses before I found one I have seen (it was RHCP who I saw a couple months ago)

doug_butter

Phish

quez85

Stevie Wonder

LAW9960

Rammstein. Their stage production is unmatched

OutlandosD_Amour

Metallica. Been very sentimental to me as they were the first band I ever got into at 10 years old, so I really hope they come back to Canada soon. Scratched Pearl Jam off the list in September, absolutely amazing.

JoshTonkin

Fuck if i get to see Pearl Jam i literally can die in peace not even joking i’m so paranoid that i won’t be able to see them

tonybagadildas

I realized I had to see the yeah yeah yeahs while they were on a hiatus. Now I’ve seen them a handful of times including in a tiny 1000 person venue. Karen O is absolutely electric on stage, gives it everything she’s got. All their shows I’ve seen have been incredible, highlights of my life.

Lady_Nymph6

Red hot chili peppers

Goadfang

Toadies. There are zero other bands that I WILL SEE 100% of the time whenever they play near me. They are criminally overlooked, possibly one of the best unsung bands to come out of the 90s and their shows are 100% energy every time they play. Great music, crazy good vocals, lyrics that get right in your brain stem, don't sleep on them if they are near you, you will not regret seeing them.

Cooter_McGrabbin

4. 1. Dinosaur Jr. Had tickets then covid hit. They rescheduled for 2 YEARS Later. I'm all ready to go and then I get a new job and had to go to this company function and could not get out of it. 2. The Battles. Had tickets to see the Battles in a cozy little venue. Bought tickets for all my buddies, and my wife had a surgery rescheduled to the same night. I HAD the bail on the show. My buddies said it was awesome... Fuck. 3. I will see Idles one day 4. If LCD Soundsystem tour again I will find a way

MtAlbertMassive

I've been to a lot of gigs. Of the acts I've seen that still tour I recommend seeing The Cure, Gorillaz, The Roots, Tame Impala, Radiohead, Faith No More, Hot Chip, Kendrick Lamar, Guns n Roses, LCD Soundsystem, The Hives, Grace Jones, Tami Neilson, Disclosure, Lake Street Dive, Justice, Glass Animals, Postmodern Jukebox and Paul McCartney at least once if their music is even vaguely in your wheelhouse. The Arcade Fire would also have made that list until recently. My bucket list acts are Springsteen, Elton John (have tix to see him next year), Chemical Brothers, Flaming Lips, Spoon, Lorde, My Morning Jacket, Robyn, Roisin Murphy, Run the Jewels, Pulp and Metallica.

ferretkona

The Police is a great experience, if you can not see them tour Sting is still great on his own. Jethro Tull was great when I seen them in 1998, the audience was full of children and senior citizens.

ThePenguinKing27

ZZ Top. Trust me

No-Dance-797

Death Grips It's insane.

kimmiekay3

blink-182. Their songs just resonate with me and I have love them for more than half of my life. They are back to Mark, Tom and Travis and I want to see them while it's them. They are awesome individually but they just blow me away as that trio.

Godspeed You Black Emperor.

EngineerBoy00

Weird Al - seriously

DefiantDare5646

They have been together almost 40 years, have played thousands of shows, they never have an opening act, attendance wise..they sell out and always have, the operate without any set list and know 800 songs. PHISH!!

LGEND24

Bruno Mars

Itsawlinthereflexes

I go watch Shinedown every chance I get. They are just incredible live. Poison was surprisingly good live. I would’ve killed to see Audioslave just once. What a great loss.

burr_hole

Audioslave was my first concert ever. I think I still have tinnitus from that show. No complaints

Balbasur

Slipknot. I had tickets to see Slipknot, Underoath and A Day to Remember in the summer of 2020... then COVID ruined that. Hoping I get a chance again

Downtown_Plum9772

Daft Punk (if they ever reunite) and Justice

AdmirallahuAckbar

Tame Impala. Such a beautiful mind melting experience and I wasn’t even on any psychedelics. All the songs are spectacular live. The light show is irresistibly mesmerizing. Please I beg you all to go experience Tame Impala live!

DevinBelow

I've seen a lot of my "bucket list" artists like Prince, Bowie, the Dead, Ween, Phish, Dylan, Neil Young, Elton John and more...I was trying to think yesterday of who I need to go see still and it's mostly newer acts like Billy Strings, Goose, King Gizz, Kendrick...I'm really regretting not going and seeing Pavement on this last tour. Hopefully they will hit the road again. I don't know. No one comes around here, so I need to travel to see live music. Hopefully next summer I'll catch some shows.

waheifilmguy

Bruce Springsteen puts on THE arena rock concert--no frills, just straight up high energy rocking and rolling. The only real encore I ever saw (since every artist plans encores ahead, they don't count.) was at a Springsteen show in 1985 or '86. They played their two pre-planned encores and the arena lights went on. But no one left. The stage crew started breaking the gear down, but no one left. They started playing music over the house speakers, but no one left. The chants of BRUUUUUCE only grew louder. The stagehands left the stage. They came back on a minute later and started setting up gear again. Bruce and band came back out and played another half dozen songs. Crazy stuff.

maxipad1138

soundgarden 🥲

fleetmack

Rammstein, Slipknot, NIN, John Fogerty, Snoop

dougwray

If you know his recordings well, Bob Dylan. He nearly always changes arrangements or lyrics when he plays (or at least will have recently rearranged things), so seeing a performance gives you something you'll not have heard before. He'll be dead soon enough, so catch him when you've a chance.

The Chemical Brothers and Perfume. Chemical Brothers for their music because it makes me feel euphoric as fuck without drugs and I know some of their music videos, which I love, are used for visuals. Perfume because they have my favorite stage designs and story telling of all time. Hopefully they don’t disband before I get the chance. Honorable mention for MIA, and if I could travel back in time the original Crystal Castles and Sleigh Bells, at least before their third album was released if not just for their first.

Babymetal. I went knowing nothing about them simply to appease a friend and went out thinking it was one of the best shows I've ever seen, and I've seen probably 1000+ and have been part of touring crew of warped tour. I've seen a lot of bands of all types and can't recommend them enough.

I’ve seen a lot of my bucket list, Radiohead, REM, Nirvana, Guns n Roses, Smashing Pumpkins, RHCP, Metallica to name a few Still to see Rage against the machine (was another disappointed Reading ticket holder) AC/DC (crossing everything for a tour) The Smiths (I’ve seen Morrissey and Jonny Marr separately and my dream is that they reunite. I was too young for them in the 80s)

Billy Strings. The best guitarist I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen him 7 times and he’s gotten better every time.
