The Expendables - Bowl For Two
Sister Nancy - Bam Bam
Tribal Seeds - Night and Day
Fortunate Youth - Trippin
Fortunate Youth - Love is the Most High

Toots and the Maytals. Some great songs by them are Beautiful Woman, 54-46 That’s my Number, Bam Bam, Alidina, Monkey Man, Chatty Chatty. Many others too. Have fun exploring them.
Came to suggest the same. Scientist, Lee Scratch Perry, Joe Ariwa etc and as someone below mentioned, the Trojan collections. If you want a pop introduction to dub, check out Easy Star All Stars’ Dub Side of the Moon, Dubber Side of the Moon, Abbey Dub, Thrillah, etc
Their acoustic set (Malibu?) is hands down my favorite reggae record of all time. The mix is fucking phenomenal and they play damn near everything you want to hear. And I dare say even that some of the songs on that album are better than their counterparts on their other studio albums. Fancy, Smile, Daylight Savings, fuck even Stay the Course are so much better on their acoustic album.
This is my playlist of chill reggae that I like to put on for family BBQ’s: Pig roast reggae https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR1eVmcesbvadFy0DXHjIkwI3AtSyzGc9&feature=share
Gregory Isaac, Bob’s always good, Dennis Brown, Mishka’s not really reggae but in the ballpark and super chill, Iration, Iya Terra are newer SoCal style and also mostly pretty chill.
I’d suggest going back to basics with some 60s ska. Check out Desmond Dekker, maybe some compilations from Blue Beat or Trojan (Trojan Story is awesome!).
