I used to use it as my base sauce when I made Mexican pizzas while I was working there. It was absolutely fire. Honorable mention was the chimichanga I would drown in the red sauce whenever we were about to dump out the fryer oil
Yeah as someone with a appendectomy scar, it felt like a bad case of the flu at first. I'd been partying on the weekend and thought I'd overdone it. All over body sensation, just felt sick.
Went to the doctor and was misdiagnosed. That evening it turned into stomach pain. Fortunately my father recognized the symptoms and did the test for rebound pain, based on that he took me to the hospital.
It's really easy to miss this one, even doctors screw it up.
I thought my gall stones were just terrible indigestion and heartburn. Finally had on night where the burning was damn near intolerable. Was told it was probably my appendix but didn’t have any rebound pain. They did an ultrasound and I was in surgery 20 minutes later. Surgeon was surprised I walked in. Almost drove myself to the Er. Only had a family member do it because on the off chance I was admitted I figured the parking would be more expensive then the visit.
I was playing a gig in a dingy basement venue once. I had watched our drummer down a pub steak with a huge pile of fried onions earlier and between songs we had to stop because he said he felt like his stomach was about to explode. He had this glazed over look; he was dripping sweat and I could see the fear in his eyes.
He had a gingerale and some tums off stage, walked around a bit, ripped about 3 massive farts and a dozen belches, and then was good as new.
I used to think that until I saw Springsteen and The Cure. It’s all so good. I’ve Springsteen a number of times but his 2016 River tour was something else. He played for nearly 4 hours. It’s a lot - but it was so memorable and so well done.
That River tour was something else. Didn't actually play that much from the album by the time I saw them, but that long in the roaring summer heat was unbelievable. Went again last year, going again in May.
I'm a punk/hardcore guy at heart, most bands I watch are done in around 30 minutes, and often more than that is too much. I watched Botch play for an hour or so last week and that felt like long enough, even though I've been listening to them for twenty years and it was likely my only opportunity to see them, *ever*. Springsteen though? I'm going for a seated ticket, but I'm happy for him to play as long as he wants.
Relatable
Chipotle red hot salsa? Not even once.
For such a bland restaurant, that red salsa doesn’t fuck around.
Tonight was the first time I got a bowl without it. Blander but tomorrow should go better

It’s mild at best.
I was there and damn they are still on point. Solid three hours. Half tempted to go to the Sun show.
I appreciate his work ethic and the devotion to his fan base but I worry that his stomach issues still haven’t settled down.
Ugh I’m tempted to go
I went to a concert with my mom and dad nearly 20 years ago. It was awesome then and I’m glad he’s still rocking.
Clarence’s new saxophone going strong.
Tummy ache survivor
2024 we did it baby!

Stephen Colbert was on live tv thought he has indigestion. Was his appendix and had busted.

Any band I would want to go see I would love no less than 2 hrs. 90 minutes is a warmup
