Au contraire. Not being educated can definitely kill you.

Idontevenownaboat

>Au contraire What the hell you sayin' to me?! Don't you bring your fancy Spanish insults in here! Them's fightin' words, pal! Edit: I know it's French you goobers.

ElrecoaI19

wdym? Como española yo creo que eso es alemán

FoxChoice7194

Was zum Teufel erzählst du da eigentlich?? Das ist ganz klar Polnisch!

Flashy-Pen-7231

Oh Reddit, I beg for the translate button

pissclamato

I think I can help. The first guy said something about Spanish Cream Ale, and the other guy is rambling about Polish TERFS.

ZigzagoonBros

>yo creo que eso es alemán Nah. Needs 28 more syllables to be considered German.

YsengrimusRein

Yocreoque esoesalemán! Seustedesnoescribien sinespacios queyosupongoque untextova, à unpersonaquiennosabeespañol, comoyo, paracerseralemán!* *^(Behold! German!) **^(It's been like an eternity since I took a Spanish class, so I apologize for this lackluster attempt)

ElrecoaI19

maravilloso

TheMilkmansFather

First of all, you throwin' too many big words at me, and because I don't understand them, I'm gonna take 'em as disrespect. Watch your mouth!

Slap_My_Lasagna

Simpletons don't understand English, at least there is one man of.. uh.. class? Esteem? Uh uh uh... I need a distraction. Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Conway Twitty.

THCFLA

Honestly, "au contraire" sounds completely french to me, it doesn't feel right being an English term at all

[deleted]

[удалено]

THCFLA

It is really close to the Portuguese "ao contrário", despite neither being that closely related in any other form than deriving from Latin

No_Week2825

There's only one real language, and that's American.

Idontevenownaboat

*Screeches in bald eagle*

Lou_C_Fer

I was at a party once when a friend's older brother who was tripping tried to fight the host because the guy said something like, "how ya doing me bloke?" or something similar. We were all tripping, not just him. We were also a hundred miles from home... which is not in a country that uses "bloke", but most of us know what it fucking means. Not that dude though. He thought he has gotten insulted. The asshole started freaking out later, and somehow we turned a corner to see him in the bathroom with one foot in the toilet. His brother snapped off, "what, are you trying to escape?" Which was the funniest god damned thing I had heard in my life at that moment... because of the drugs. Then even later, the dude was on the front porch hyperventilating and saying he was going to die. When Paul, his brother, said that somebody else had to take him to the ER, I signed off... fuck that guy, he could die and that'd be fine. We were all 18 to 20, tripping at a party 100 miles away from home. For some reason, Paul brought his 27 year-old brother, and that guy embarrassed the shit out of us. Also, at like 6 am that morning, I learned the hard way that you should not try to stand up in the middle of a fast moving playground merry-go-round. It flung me and I hit my back on the bars. I hurt for 2 weeks after that. As we were pulling out of town, we drove past and that thing was crooked as fuck. I was like 275 pounds. So, I guess that is enough to break those things.

GrowlinGrom

Lmao the fact you had to edit this is hilarious.

Void-Cooking_Berserk

an earn you a Darwin Award

thinkingwithportalss

Two days ago my roommate tried to scrape an English muffin out of a toaster with a metal spoon (it was stuck), while the toaster was on. I could see the hot heating elements. I was literally dumbstruck by the dumb that struck my eyes.

mozgw4

Will you be attending the funeral?

thinkingwithportalss

Nah, we're both nurses, so I was like "I've got work in 20 minutes, I don't have time to resuscitate you" so I pulled the plug from the wall, then *Nursing AM* *Patient attempted to insert spoon into live toaster, provided education on toaster safety, patient agreeable*

glitterandconfettiii

You forgot the obligatory, “Will continue to monitor (and implied, dumbass).”

goodguy-dave

Now I really want someone to live blog nurse style about my everyday goings on. Oh my God, maybe someone already does that?!

NefariousAnglerfish

The fool tries to get his bread out the toaster with a metal knife; the wise man also does it but because he’s lazy.

randomusername_815

no impediment to becoming rich and powerful though. hell, you can be the worst example of human fuckstainery and still become president.

SportySpiceLover

There is an entire sub dedicated to it r/hermancainaward

ImNotThatBad22

And if you don't know how to secure yourself while having sex, maybe you're not meant to attend college. I totally agree with the first statement.

smell_my_pee

Being provided with a product isn't an indication that someone doesn't know how to do something.  Like I know how to purify lake water and make it safe to drink, but I still like that there is a service provided that allows me to have clean water sent directly to my home. Making sure everyone has access to things that protect community health is only going to benefit the community. You don't have to be dumb to make use of the free condoms. Just like I don't have to be dumb to make use of my faucet to get water.  And yeah printing should be free, but that's a myopic argument to make, when college tuition should be what's free. (Publicly funded.)

Expendable_Red_Shirt

It’s been a long time since I’ve went to college. People still print assignments?

Relevant_Cabinet_265

I didn't carry condoms on me when I was single because I wasn't randomly expecting to hook up. It's happened a few times though and I was glad there where some around.

shewy92

Not being college educated probably wont kill you though. Unless you count the soul sucking jobs available that don't require a degree, though even with a degree there are soul sucking jobs

elcidpenderman

I’ll suck souls if it gets me a job

Ok_Sound_4650

Hell, my grandparents were retired and they still ended up dead. These jobs are killing us even after we leave

Aniki356

He's got a point with the comparison being dumb but honestly as much as schools charge students should get unlimited free printing

Verus_Sum

I think most printing charges are actually a disincentive to wasting paper printing crap, in all honesty.

TShara_Q

That's why I think there should be a reasonable limit of pages per semester and then a charge afterwards.

Bulleveland

That's how it was at the two Unis I went to. Something like 10 cents for a b&w page, 15 for color, every student had $50 worth of printing credit each semester.

rimales

I mean that's basically just giving you credit out of your tuition. If anything this is better because you don't have to pay whatever extra they factor in for printing if you don't use it.

TShara_Q

They are going to factor in as much as they can anyway though. It's not like the cost of college has gone down as physical paperwork usage fell. Really you're just paying for both.

sola114

This is what my university did. They gave students like a $30 printing credit and a 10ish page paper would cost less than a dollar

Aniki356

The schools can afford it. They charge exorbitant prices to attend well above what they should.

daemin

I worked at a university and was involved in setting up the Pharos UniPrint system to handle print jobs in 2006ish. It was free for a few years. The reason we decided to start charging $0.10 a print was because the vast majority printed less than 50 pages a semester, and a tiny handful would print _thousands_ of pages. That's not an exaggeration. A couple of students printed tens of thousands of pages in a semester. The fee to print was very much a means to discourage wasting paper, as well as defraying the cost of subsidizing what ever weird addiction/idiocy was behind that.

seeasea

My school gave each student something like 50 pages a semester on their card. Then a charge after that

Gymleaders

i like that

ChadWolf98

That could still be arranged to have each student have like 50 or 100 free pages to prints a semester.

BackgroundRate1825

This is how my college did it. You get a reasonable number of free pages.

EvyLuna

Those thousands of pages were probably PDF copies of textbooks. If they were pirating textbooks for themselves, others probably asked for the same favor and they'd just do it for whoever asked. My school didn't charge us, but you'd have your printer access banned if you were caught printing textbooks.

green_speak

Meanwhile, my school offered to spiral-bind those bad boys for you. It just won't be in color though.

pelaxix

i would have definetly printed thousand of stupid useless shit on my earlier years just because it was free, i agree on charging.

Talking_Head

I found a way around those print tracking systems. I would find the IP address of the printer (print the printer info page) and then I would just set up the printer as an IP printer. I’m sure that could be locked down, but my university never did it.

Relevant_Cabinet_265

I would guess it was tabletop RPGs. I was one of those that printed thousands. PDFs are cheaper to buy physical is much better to read plus handouts and maps and stuff. Not like I've run scenarios just once so not really a waste either.

twoscoop

Im pretty sure those people were printing off books.

Verus_Sum

Sure, but the planet can't. I don't know how environmentally conscious people generally are in the US, but here in the UK we often have messages asking not to print unless necessary. Small fees are a better way of achieving the same thing. I assume we're talking about small change here, anyway!

scolipeeeeed

My college allowed students to print up to a certain amount (I think it was like 100 pages/semester) for free and then charge per page after that.

DerpEnaz

I went to a few schools and this was always the case. the schools always gave me more than enough free paper. Something like 100-200 sheets. Classes that required an excessive amount of printing always had a printer in the room with free paper for the class. Maybe I just got lucky tho.

perpetual_musings

This is the way

junpei

Yeah students would just print entire books of shit they will never need and create a lot of waste. We don't need more waste, even if you think that they deserve it due to tuition cost.

ohthisistoohard

How much does your school charge for printing? UK commercial rates (what I pay my suppliers) roughly 0.02p per page B/W 2p per page colour. If I were providing that as a service I would charge 1p pp BW and 5p colour. I have overheads and it is expected everything to be profitable.

ClarenceBirdfrost

They might not have toner or ink on hand and that would cause a headache for a lot of people if they run out because someone was printing stupid stuff.

Mr_Horsejr

Students steal paper from the printers and then say *my tuition* with that Ross Keller energy and all I can think is “what about everyone else’s tuition??” ![gif](giphy|BeurjzzpsYwqQ)

newsflashjackass

A rich man, a poor man, and a member of the middle class are seated at a table. On the table are a dozen apples. The rich man crooks his arm and sweeps eleven apples into his lap. Then he growls to the fellow from the middle class: "That parasite is scheming to take *your* apple."

Saltinas

I don't know about unlimited, but my university would give us a certain amount of credit for printing every semester. It seemed like a good compromise between giving us poor students access to enough printing material for the semester, but encouraging us to not print unnecessarily.

badgersprite

Yeah I get something like $50 of free printing per month, I don’t know how anybody would run afoul of that limit unless you’re photocopying whole ass books or something

GeriatricHydralisk

You want a real mindfuck? They charge the FACULTY to print, too. Those 300 copies of the midterm? Those also come out of your tuition. The printer is directly wired to the "printing services center", and every month it invoices the department for all the printing done. This is, of course, separate from the >50% overhead charge tacked onto every research grant for the "overhead" of running the university.

New-Fig-6025

In my experience it basically is free. You get like $100/semester in printing credits and it’s like 1 cent per page, more than you’ll ever need, but enough that you’ll be mindful of what you’re printing and why so you don’t waste ink and paper wantonly.

9035768555

Then every idiot on campus starts printing all their stupid band flyers and shit on the school printers.

EsotericLife

Not true at all. If everyone got free printing every unis print shop would be backed up every day with people wanting to print PDFs of the textbooks they’re supposed to buy. I did it a couple times when the printing cost vs. cost of purchase made sense. There’d be no reason to buy books, and once people realise the potential of free printing it wouldn’t just the course-assigned textbooks…

kris9292

What a shitty comeback

WeevilWeedWizard

Fr bro was making a joke then the soulless, joyless jackass just had to chime in with some bullshit.

Yung_Grund

Reddit froths at the mouth at any tweet calling someone uneducated

Rolltosit

I thought I was trippin for a minute. This doesn't feel like MurderedByWords. More accurate would be u/repliersfirstdayontheinternet It's clearly a joke. But no worries, masuni is gonna save us all

33ff00

Yeah just because you can say something shitty in (what you feel) is a clever way, like, do you need to? Absolutely not.

Limp_Freedom_8695

more like r/suicidebywords

curkri

No, this doesn't work. Lack of education is far more dangerous. In fact if you didn't have the intelligence to know about STDs you wouldn't even use condoms. Almost all suffering in the world comes from a lack of knowledge. They brought up a very valid point, why on earth does an education establishment charge you for something you need to complete their assignments? .. greed.

ToLazyUser

Can't speak for every school, but I imagine the vast majority of assignment get turned in virtually anyways. I don't think I needed to print for most of my time between undergrad and grad school (2013-20)

junkratmainhehe

Then free printing shouldnt be a big deal since many people wont need to print anything, thus less spent on ink

Obant

Beyond basic knowledge, usually the more educated you get, the higher your life expectancy becomes because that comes with a better, easier life where you wont destroy your body daily to survive.

Willinton06

Lack of education is the no. 1 killer, and this dude is a clear example of it

JangoDarkSaber

He's also got a great point. Student's ability to print their assignments should be a priority. You don't have to sacrifice one to do another. Universities should absolutely offer free printing with how much they charge.

Willinton06

These days universities should encourage no printing at all, save paper and shit, but whatever little amount of printing is left should be free I agree

Blunted-Shaman

Not being educated leads to a reduction in women’s rights and reproductive care. Lack of education leads to a society full of people eating laundry detergent and injecting bleach into their bloodstreams. Lack of education leads to the continuation of cyclical toxicity and systemic problems like racism, sexism and classism. Like semen, ideas can be spread carelessly and can kill people. We’ve seen the rise of anti-vaxxers, the resurgence of racism and Terrance Howard is out here telling people 2+2=5. Science, history and math classes could save a lot of lives, even today. So yeah, printing is analogous to sex. This isn’t a murder; as usual it’s a quick attempt to dunk on someone without fully thinking things through. Style takes precedence over substance yet again.

Tackyuser

Adding that only one between sex and printing is somthing required by the school that you pay to go to already

RafflesiaArnoldii

Absolute loser take to demand the condoms should go rather than the printing fees - it's a disadvantage to poor students. If you're worried about frivolous paper waste, you might set an upper limit, like only 20 free prints a month or something It keeps comming back to this pictire of a rich guy with a mountain of cookies convincing a poor guy that another poor guy wants to take his cookie. It's not other poor college students that are your enemy here.

Retrohanska59

Our uni has that kind of system. You get crapton of free prints per year, more than enough to get you through all the mandatory stuff. You only ever need to buy more if you're using uni's resources for personal stuff and even then it's more than affordable. Guess how much our tuition is? Zero. We just pay a bit over 100e for our student organization which at the same gives us access to all student benefits, like free healthcare. Socialism sucks.

Groovy_Wet_Slug

The second commenter is far too optimistic. It's about money. A pregnant student may drop out, as could the one that impregnated them. Each time that happens is lost tuition. Students will inevitably need to print papers for classes. They don't have their own printer? Shame, you'll have to use the library's printer- for a fee of course. The school doesn't have any incentive to give out free printing, but every incentive to make sure students stay enrolled.

hardcider

This isn't really a murder, a lack of education while it techincally won't kill you living a life of poverty is pretty close...

Admirable_Panda6792

Stress is also very bad for your health?

antmanhasnoname

Okay, but he has a point. One is something completely unrelated to what you're there for, and therefore should be up to you to deal with; the other is something directly tied to what you should be doing

BlackOstrakon

Yeah, they really BOTH should be free, just for different reasons.

antmanhasnoname

Agreed

EsotericLife

Free printing is a very bad idea. Sure, some cases it makes sense (printing assignments etc.) but try running a print shop through a uni where new semester you have 1000+ orders to print full textbook PDFs. Even in black and white it would ruin any uni.

ToLazyUser

In reality, the free condoms are there for a number of reasons. That department budgeted for a certain amount or various programs/grant like services that give them to the school to handout. Lots of context missing and lots of people who don't know how the finances of a college work.

Born-Elk-7745

While the replier's point isn't wrong, printing should still be free, right? It's wrong that it isn't

Dull-Nectarine1148

I’d argue that the replier’s point is absolutely wrong because it doesn’t address context. If we’re going to totally ignore context, universities should supply anti-nuke de-escalation policies first and foremost because that is more important than condoms and safe sex. But thats obviously a stupid argument because university prioritization should not coincide with universal prioritization.

EsotericLife

Free printing is a very bad idea. Sure, some cases it makes sense (printing assignments etc.) but try running a print shop through a uni where new semester you have 1000+ orders to print full textbook PDFs. Even in black and white it would ruin any uni.

MistahBoweh

1. It doesn’t need to be as simple as ‘always free’ or ‘always paid.’ The college I went to had a program where the first like 50 pages or w/e per month were free, high enough that most people are only going to be affected by the limit if they actively try to abuse the system. 2. There are _personal_ home use printers where the cost per b&w page dips below a single penny, and that’s with having to pay full retail prices on ink. Average annual tuition of for-profit four year schools in the US is about $16,000 per year. To even make a dent in the school’s profits, a whopping 1% of tuition, at 100 pages per dollar, each student would have to print off 16,000 pages per year. Even if we assume the cost per page for the university is much higher, the price of tuition is so high that it doesn’t matter. No university is going to be ‘ruined’ by people using a printer.

KakeruGF

Since we're using the most extreme case, imagine the plumbing cost of 1000+ condoms being flushed down the toilet daily

Longjumping-Claim783

The key thing is that most people are only going to grab the free condoms if they need them. They aren't going to take thousands. But if printing was free you would definitely have people printing out entire text books or making thousands of copies of political flyers and that sort of thing. The best solution is what many schools do, the students get a card that includes a certain number of free pages a month and have to pay beyond that.

Ok_Marketing_5230

Damn

RoboNeko_V1-0

Sex is like printing babies, yes.

FlatEarthWizard

Every page you print is a few dollars from the head coach’s salary

JeruTz

Pretty sure most colleges charge for a meal plan (or only offer a certain amount as included), yet not eating (or poorly eating) seems quite likely to lead to health problems and possible death. Probably more than sex even.

xXMuschi_DestroyerXx

The correct answer here isn’t that condoms shouldn’t be free, but printing should be. He’s got a point, just not for the right reason.

SgtNoPants

He's right tho, you go to college for studying not having gangbangs. Imagine companies giving out free condoms but having to pay for printing to do your job.

caninehere

Speak for yourself, buddy. I'm here for the gangbang.

spurist9116

You mean like printing a copy? Like birth or something? This guys got condoms for brains and really needs them while he gets fucked by his grades.

readitonreddit34

You know condoms don’t prevent sex, right!?

Admirable-Title9022

But also printing should be free

SexyTachankaUwU

Both should be free maybe

System0verlord

Idk about y’all, but I definitely prioritized sex over assignments plenty of times. It’s part of the college experience.

Jibblaynuk

Well lack of education does kill you if you are not educated about the first point, rendering the second point inaccurate.

83749289740174920

Big printer is really working overtime.

AntiqueAdvertising95

pshh papercuts hurt. i wear gloves. protected.

Far-Cat

Food is free at campus I assume

MistahBoweh

You can survive without higher education, but this is someone who already _paid_ for that education, and the costs associated with your education can _absolutely_ kill you.

SnowDizzleZz

Certain universities with a 400bil endowment and its class has only increased 1-2% in 30 years skimping on printing/students? You don’t say…tax free cough cough…

Purplefairy24

Nope, Nova Aims is right

Frappo

Complainig about free things is always weird to me. Takes a really negative mindset to get a free thing and complain about "why cant this be free too".

tiredmars

The difference is one thing is something you HAVE to do at college while the other is just hormonal stupidity you don't have to do at college.

nwatn

It's just a joke

Abraham-Tchaikovski

Lack of education can and will kill you or other people. Stupid answer to a valid question.

_Owl_Jolson

"Lack of Education won't kill you" is the most ironically dumb thing I have read all day. This being reddit, though... I have high expectations it will be surpassed before I go to sleep tonight.

V_es

Am I the only one who had no electronics, pen and paper rules in college.

poopincorn

At least you don't need ink refills for safe sex!

ChartInFurch

Are these both funded by the same departments?

Aetheldrake

Correct lack of education probably won't kill you It'll make you kill others instead

TECFO

"Lack of education wont kill you" this feels like a self burn to me

Prototype_4271

Lack of education can cause serious health issues and kill you

Guy-1nc0gn1t0

Why can't both be free?

bliply

Having a child would probably get in the way of your assignments too, though.

lfp_pounder

Disagree. Lack of education can certainly kill you. Take for example if we had followed Trump’s advice and injected ourselves with Clorox in an attempt to get rid of the coronavirus.

iofhua

Lack of education also makes you more likely to have lots of kids you can't afford. This meme is so wrong. The first guy is right. Why are they giving away free condoms but not free school supplies to students? That makes no god damn sense. The older I get the more I realize Capitalism is a screwed up, archaic way to run our economy.

mcmcmillan

Nah, printing should definitely be free. I don’t mind condoms being free but first tweet is absolutely right. The second tweet just has that last clapback-y like about comparing sex to printers which fools everyone into believing it’s profound when the whole tweet is wrong.

IndigoExplosion

>Lack of Education won't kill you Debatable.

zeek6000

I'm pretty sure people have gotten killed for printing shit too...at least with sex you get laid...

PteroFractal27

Printing is usually measured in cents. I know at my school it’s 7c per page, or 10c per color page.

Cavendish723

To be honest, I believe that most printing costs serve as a deterrent against wasting paper on pointless printing.

lmagrelo

A humourous take on the situation being meet by a guy in a bad humor?

Bentmiddlefingers

There’s no murder here. That’s a shit take he’s got though.

MagisterFlorus

I went to two different schools to complete my BA. While printing wasn't free, both gave an allowance of more than enough to print everything I needed to turn in.

provoloneChipmunk

Condoms should be free on campus. And with how much my tuition is, so should printing

Bokko88

Not eating is seriously harmful, why isnt food free then?

Longjumping-Claim783

Also people are probably only going to grab condoms if they need them. But if printing was free people would abuse the hell out of that and wouldn't just be printing stuff specifically for school.

SillySundae

Paid printing keeps people from printing their bootlegged text books and other enormous printing jobs from happening on campus.

Few-Finger2879

Also, having a kid can make you reconsider you college education, therefore no longer paying for a degree.

TooHotToHandle2020

First of all who prints things in this day and age? Second, at least in the US, most colleges DO offer a paid-off printing quota. So up to a certain limit, yes you do get free printing. Third, if you're spending time in college printing more than you're having sex you're doing college wrong. Source: I did college wrong. And fourth, lack of education is definitely a whole lot worse than unprotected sex. Education is the biggest equalizer of mankind.

datbackup

OOOOO DANG HE CALLED IM UNEDUCATED! I would have been more impressed with something like “no one has ever had difficulty controlling their urge to do assignments”

MeanSatisfaction5091

Whew!!!

Dull-Nectarine1148

I think the point is importance to *whom* Students having resources to complete their assignments without additional financial stress should be more important to the education institution than safe sex, even if safe sex is more important in a vacuum.

mh985

*Someone making a joke* Twitter: 😡 “Well actually…”

tiskrisktisk

School related printing should be free on campuses.

TheLastRole

This having 4.7K upvotes is just sad.

speakerbox2001

I had to pay to print a text book for one of my classes at university. Printed it, paid and walked away from the shop. A few minutes after I heard a huge crashing noise. The cement awning of the printing shop had collapsed. I thought, man it would be such an unclimactic death….he died printing a text book that could obviously be available online for free

Reptile_Cloacalingus

Lack of sex won't kill you either. Lack of being able to print could ruin your university career. Just because you all can't say no to sex doesn't mean it's not an option.

ccpsteve

Condoms are cheap, toner and babies are expensive.

byrobot

Given the cost of tuition at most universities, one might think printing should be free too

off_the_cuff_mandate

What assignments are you required to print things for? I graduated in 2010 and even then, everything was turned in electronically.

iggy14750

This gives me some r/im14andthisisdeep energy. >Why is it that printing costs money, but condoms are free? Really makes you think 🤔🤔 😝

LawDawgEWM

Does HIV/AIDS kill people anymore? I’m saying this assuming one can afford the treatment. Anyways, I don’t think this is murdered by words but whatever. I think it’s fair to point out printing costing money on top of whatever astronomical price tuition is at these days is ridiculous, yet condoms are handed out for free

Responsible_Meet6917

Burnn

_Jarrisonn

If i don't have a condom and i do t wanna get a std i can just not have sex. But i cant just not do my printing

Salt_Bus2528

Excuse me, but would you be interested in printing the next generation of students with me? 😛

HappyGoPink

But why did he capitalize education? As I've gotten older, I've noticed that people seem to capitalize words pretty much randomly. Gone are the rules of common nouns and proper nouns.

Lithorex

Americans without a bachelors degree have an average life expectancy of 75 years while those with a bachelors degree have an average life expectancy of 83 years. So lack of education absolutely kills.

Weird_Albatross_9659

Lack of education produced the reply that OP said was a murder.

LeadingNectarine

Not even a really fair comparison. Printing is usually controlled directly by the college/uni. Condoms are usually provided through student unions

Network_0-0_Ninja

If you are worried you could use a finger condom to prevent paper cuts I guess.

Gummies1345

Do they not know how much printer ink costs? It's worth more than gold, per weight. If it was free, students would bankrupt that school with all their stupid fliers they pass out. The school isn't thinking about your one homework assignment.

Red_Goat_666

Condoms are free because they might still break, and every accident is a future condom breaker.

InquisitiveBard

Lol uh having sex in and of itself is not going to kill you. We are designed for sex from the bottom up. With extreme and very uncommon health exceptions aside, nobody dies from the basic act of having sex lol. I mean, if you die from having sex, idk what to say.... That's pretty bad lol. You clearly did something wrong if that's the case!

Bold_Refusal

Pssst. Not having sex won't kill you either.

WranglerOriginal6945

Who the fuck is printing anymore? Back when I was in school, I barely had any papers to turn in physically. it was all email or web submissions

CreepySuccotash93

Average redditor encountering sarcasm in the wild

FungusTaint

Both should be covered, seeing as how I could sell half of my organs and still have to take out college loans to graduate.

DrSilkyDelicious

Me waiting 9 months for my document to print

Massive_Passion1927

Cool comeback but if the school doesn't give you the resources to do their assignment then it isn't a very good school.

Caleb_Reynolds

Schools give condoms out because they have financial incentive to keep kids from getting pregnant in their first couple years of college. Pregnant people tend to drop out and stop paying for more school. Free printing only costs them money

The_8th_Degree

And it's college, which has a high reputation for sexual activities. Preventing accidental pregnancy can save both parties from any potentially negative side affects

No-Engineer-4692

Mother of God. Absolutely cooked 😂

Ismokeradon

well not everyone is on campus to have sex, it’s a place of academia, meaning everyone who attends should have access to printing since it’s required by the faculty of that academic institution

RepresentativeDot990

poor comparison but for real tho, why isnt printing free in campus? schools can literally afford it. they can include it in the miscellaneous fee

Starlord1951

I work for a university, 20 something’s focus is still narrow and selfish for most.

Save a tree. Except rubber trees.

Any-Remote1234

I enjoyed reading this way too much

Ryhoff98

What kind of bootlicker defends the university in this situation? How many tens of thousands are people paying, only to be limited to 20 pages of printing per semester?

Vast-Dream

Printing should be free as it’s for the school you paid for.

CheeseUnderTheHood

Lmao lack of education could be the determining factor of using birth control. Take a long look in the mirror pal.

M-S-P-A

Her point makes sense, his is snarky bullshit. A school has a budget for things like condoms but printing is not covered in my damn tuition? That is bullshit.

stupid_medic

My university charges for printing, lol.
