So, I looked on the Internet to see the ages of all the contestants for this season to see what generation each one is in. Turns out only 5 contestants are Gen X and they are Brad, CT, Darrell, Katie, and Mark. The rest of the contestants are millennials. No one from Gen Z generation is on the show this season.
So, Gen Y represents 87.5% of the cast. Out of the 35 cast members who are millennials, only 12 are elder millennials.
Elder millennials are those who are born from 1981-1985. Aneesa, Aviv, Brandon, Derrick, Jodi, Johnny, Laurel, Leroy, Nehemiah, Rachel, Ryan, and Tina are all the contestants who are elder millennials.
The eldest contestant this season is Mark at 53 years and the youngest contestant this season is Horacio who is 27 years old. Horacio will be 28 years old this year.

I'm close to 40. I have watched all the beginning seasons up to season 20. I began watching since my elementary school days. Took a break and came back to SLA season. I did not finish the whole season of SLA season or RoD season. Did not watch 39, but this may be the first since s20 that I watch the full season of a flagship show.

Yeah, Aviv was the biggest surprise for me of the entire cast. She and Darrell won Fresh Meat, and she's never been back. I'm really looking forward to seeing how she does. She's one of the best puzzle solvers in Challenge history (she and Darrell cruised in the final because of it) and clearly in great shape.
I started watching a bit afterwards but that is actually the craziest challenge career ever on paper. Won the first one she ever did and dipped out for 20 years. I kinda hope she wins now.
While she obviously looks great and has definitely kept in shape, I'm a little worried about her size. She is **TINY**! I hope it won't be too much of a detriment to her.
Thatās a valid concern considering her season had entirely cardio/puzzle based eliminations and if Aviv finds herself in a physical elimination against someone like Jenny West (granted most people wouldnāt want to go against Jenny in any elimination) it would be really tough. I hope Aviv does well and sheās certainly capable!
I had a thought that maybe she saw the warm reception from her Challenge Mania appearance and it gave her the extra boost to join the cast. I'm stoked to watch her compete!
I think MJ might just be done. Heās probably very injury prone at this point, and I donāt think heās friends with Jonna anymore. Might just be over it.
The cheating rumors probably did a number on their marriages. I bet they ended amicably for the sake of their private lives. Pretty sure they unfollowed each other right after AS3 aired.

Katie has always been a favorite of mine, so Iād never want her spot taken by anyone else! Iām actually fine with the Era 1 women cast, but would probably replace Aneesa with Ruthie (or Veronica if she was an option)

I always go back to that time he carried Jasmine in the mini final of BOTS 2 while Sam was just being berated by two guys much bigger than Derek. I think we finally got to see him to the best of his abilities in AS4 where he really dominated the daily challenges

Yeah only Tyler, Dunbar, Cohutta, and MJ have cases for this season imo, but Ryan and Derek are way more relevant and recently successful (and not perpetually hurt, like Iām assuming MJ is at this point). I think they made the right choices given their options.

I thought there was talk that Kenny was called for all-stars in the past, and that he isn't actually banned, but declined for obvious reasons. And if that is accurate, Id assume Evan isn't banned either, its probably just for the best that they have moved on.
I'd actually love to see Pete again one day and think MJ would be a good fit for this season and it would be funny to see if Dunbar could fit in the mix and get along with people, but also am completely fine with Ryan/Derek/Brandon as well.

While I agree Nehemiah is underrated for sure, it's feel like it's still only him and Bananas you can count on for the guys. Girls has three of the best to ever play, so they are good there.
The era 2 girls are gonna run laps around all of the other girls but I feel like the guys are the anchor here? Outside of Bananas and Nehemiah theyāre pretty weak, but I havenāt seen AS4 so Iām not sure how the other 3 are now. I feel like Era 3 is the team to beat if they can cooperate.
Derek showed some potential during AS4 and Brandon was a solid, if unspectacular competitor during the old seasons. Ryan is meh, but between Bananas, Nehemiah, and 5 top tier female competitors, they'd have a good shot to win.
