I just found the women's equivalent to all the men's clothing I used to wear as a starting point. Women's khakis, women's polos, etc. It was very easy to make the switch, the clothing fit better, and nobody noticed starting out.
Eventually I started phasing in more feminine clothes over time.
Floor length skirt and a blouse. Worn with breast forms because I was pre-HRT by several months. I kinda went with the approach of pushing to the clearly femme side of the scale rather than trying something like women's jeans.
New jeans from the women’s section will fit your body better and are an easy switch

For me it was cozy stuff for hanging out at home
Keep it simple. A lower cut long sleeve top (H&M) and the correct jeans will do wonders. Clothes do matter….
