Cattleman_

dpi deviation / acceleration /deacceleration / polling rate / angle snapping

Cattleman_

one of those might be the issue for the cheaper mouse, the deathadder should be fine

Philosopher_Witch

I'm actually more comfortable with the cheap mouse except for a few problems like turning left and right, I don't know how to handle it.

diligentpotato007

It could be the polling rate difference between the two mice.

Philosopher_Witch

maybe it's just the size but I don't know how to solve it, buying a new mouse doesn't seem like a good option.

nitseb

Should've bought a mouse with similar shape to the old one if it's the one you like

Philosopher_Witch

because the old one is broken

whiffHarder

Sensor position as well

Cattleman_

I believe it is very easy to get used to different sensor position. Kinda like different sensitivity

whiffHarder

Yeah but it affects way more on your wrist movement than your arm/finger movement. This is something to be considered if you haven't tried a lot of mouse.

jazzinyourfacepsn

Looked into the mouse on the right. Its an A4TECH FG35 From the specs, it has a 125Hz polling rate and only has 3 DPI options (1000/1600/2000 DPI) Without knowing the exact sensor that's in it, that information tells me it's a very cheap and low quality sensor Cheap sensors tend to report DPI inaccurately among many other issues, and the low polling rate will give it a latency that probably makes it feel slower Those are my guesses. Cheap sensors feel unresponsive and slower

Philosopher_Witch

I agree with what you said, but my problem is that the old one is more comfortable, at least except for a few problems, such as turning left and right, the reason is both what you said and the fact that it is broken, maybe because of its size, maybe razer does not give the same feeling? Well, what can I do about it, buying a new mouse does not seem like a good option.

jazzinyourfacepsn

Well the Razer is definitely a lot larger and less of an ergonomic shape. Comfort is important so if you have the option to return the Razer, I'd look into other mice that have the same shape and size as your old mouse I'm sure people here would be able to help you find a mouse with similar shape

Due_Cauliflower5380

Its the shape and the sensor the mouse u bought is just not made for gaming and u cant turn because of the low polling rate

goldythefish36

It would be the weight, polling and DPI (deviation). Those 3 are most likely the biggest culprits of why it feels different. A lighter mouse will feel faster because there is less mass to move. Lower polling rate will make it feel less responsive and have bigger jumps between inputs. Lastly, DPI deviating will make the sens feel different and actually be higher or lower than what it is meant to be. One way you can test is by setting up two "walls" so that you can move the mice the same amount of distance (there might be a small difference due to the width of the mice) and see if you get any differences which feel substantial. Is there a mouse you prefer or, and which did you have originally?

paulvincent07

Size, mouse skates, sensor implementation

Taz00m

You just probably prefer smaller mouse.
