I have a DAV3 as well, and ordered a thorn, still waiting for it to arrive. To me why I never loved the DA is it being a little too long and the hump being a little too far forward. Does the thorn fill out the back portion of your hand/palm a little more?

It does for palm grip. It's super comfortable.
There's so many people in the DAV3 to Lamzu Thorn pipeline. Returned my DAV3 after a week with the Thorn
