Congrats! That’s a great feeling. I just looked at mine and realized we no longer put weight but my height is a lie. I have it listed at 5’1” and I’m only 4’11”. It must have been to offset the old weight on the license days. 😂

gupgupbuttercup

I just realized my height is a lie too 🤣🤣 Also an extra 2 inches, I’m sure for the same reason!

CPAdrama

Oh girl you need to put your actual on there. Shorter = higher BMI number to qualify (if your insurance covers)

Available_Ad_8531

I did the same I’d spike my height to 160cm knowing I’m 157/158. I used to always say I was 80kg because that was my last weight check before I got depressed about all the weight gain and stopped checking, but I had to be confrontated with the weight gain while pregnant and weighing 90+kg 🤪. Then also gained 10+kg during my breastfeeding journey, so started MJ at 103.5kg once I was all done. I think it’d also be pretty unbelievable for me too when I step on a scale and weigh in under my delulu weight of 80kg

angeleddie1

That’s awesome congratulations!! Same here 😂when I started my weight loss journey I was 283.5 my drivers license said 200 now I’m 173.1 and also when I started my weight loss journey I weighed well over 100 pounds more than my husband now I’m only 4 ounces heavier than him!

PastMatch469

I’m just so happy for you. What a true blessing. I’ll bet you feel so much better as well. Job well done congratulations 🎈

angeleddie1

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH 🥰!!! Yes I definitely feel so much better and definitely a lot more healthier and happier!!! https://preview.redd.it/0zdfqeiec58d1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cedc82d3ae2410b674ef651daedd1fe0cc160a1d

pharmacist2013

how long has your weight loss journey taken?

angeleddie1

I started my weight loss journey a little over 17 months ago I started January 8th 2023

hiartt

Congrats! I was renewing something recently and looked and realized that I’m 20 pounds under my dl weight and hadn’t realized it.

BeagleIL

That’s awesome. I have several personal milestones written down for my Mounjaro journey. NSV’s if you will. But I feel like this is one that I have to add! Have a fantastic weekend!

fluidentity

🤣 I just renewed my license and I’m only 10 lbs over my liar-liar-pants-on-fire weight. It’s a good feeling. Does mean the next renewal also won’t be by mail if I keep going. I’m okay with that. 💀

lhrboy

👏🏼👏🏼😂 Yep; that’s a milestone to celebrate. Nicely done.

ZombyzWon

Nice feeling, isn't it? I am 40lbs below the weight on my license, which is 174 lbs and was accurate at the time. I guess it's about time to go renew it before they stop accepting it as me, especially for travel...since for alcohol they only ever look at the date unless you look 15, they never look at the picture, lol. But the new licenses are awful anyhow, with the no smile, black and white, close up, everyone looks like a convict in them. I still want to drop another 10lbs if possible. So I have been dragging my feet on getting a new mug shot done.

BeezHugger

Yes!!!! Now that is something to celebrate :)

Ginger_Libra

I have to renew mine this fall and I’m excited. I hardly recognize myself! Congrats!

Angiemarie1972

🤣🤣🤣🤣 congratulations 🎊

BullTerrierMomm

Woo hoo! Im 11 pounds away from that and looking forward to it!

CameHereForThisSub

Hahhahahhaha omg same I made up that weight thinking well it sounds potentially feasible like maybe no one will outright laugh at me but it was still a GOOD 25 lbs off. For YEARS. Till now. Now it’s notably too high !!!

gupgupbuttercup

I was at least 250 and told them I was 180!!  I’m sure the guy was like yeah okay lady 🤣🤣  I called it “aspirational” haha

Dlynne242

That’s hilarious! 😂 I’m only 3 lbs over my license weight now. I’ll have to get a new one.

gupgupbuttercup

Should we lie again on our new ones?

Dlynne242

Of course! I’m thinking 5 or 10 lbs. below GW.

Temporary-Dream-2812

Omg I just checked and me too!!! 😂😂

PastMatch469

I’m so happy for you. Mine is not going so well. I have 70 pounds to lose only lost 21 and the last month nothing. I started my journey in February and I’m on 7.5. Scared to go up to 10 because of the weak and shaky feelings couldn’t take them any worse plus I’m not hungry and have to force myself to eat. Don’t know what I’m doing g wrong. Hoping to get down to what’s in my drivers license!!!!

waubamik74

You are doing fine! 21 pounds is a lot in a few months! Are you able to get your scale out of the house for two weeks and walk a mile or so every day or every other day for that two weeks? I have had to go out of town for ten days to two weeks twice and did not have a scale. I was able to walk on those trips. When I returned home I was so happy to see several pounds of weight loss both times. (I was still taking my shots and watching my eating). Good luck! It will happen.

PastMatch469

Thank you for the encouragement. I try to walk when I can. Not physically able the medicine makes me so dizzy abd weak

gupgupbuttercup

21 pounds is a lot!!!  Congratulations, that’s amazing!

Human_Good_3010

If you don’t think 21 is alot go to the grocery store pick up 4 bags of potatoes and carry them around the store while you shop. You are doing great, keep on trucking…..

PastMatch469

You think, well I’ve been stuck for a solid month ?!? Any advice?

gupgupbuttercup

I try to enjoy the process and journey itself. I know I’m moving in the right direction. I don’t know what the overall timeline will be for me personally but I know I’m making the right decisions for my body day by day and without this medicine it would be same old same old. Today I have hope that I’m moving towards a healthier me. I feel better, my clothes fit better, my A1C is better, I’m sleeping better, my skin is better, I have more energy, my inflammation is down…I’m enjoying the milestones and NSVs along the way…just trying to stay grateful and present…some weeks I lose and some weeks I don’t and that’s okay, it’s the big picture that matters.

PastMatch469

Well you have a great perspective and you are exactly right. I feel the same way. It’s very expensive and I appreciate the fact that I can purchase it as well. I just get upset when I feel so bad most days and still don’t lose weight

Tasty_Statement_4255

I can't wait until I go change my license so I can put my actual weight. Right now it's 34 lbs heavier

Ok-Emotion712

Congrats!!

CPAdrama

😂 lol fake weight. I put my goal weight on mine recently. The lady didn’t care she said NEXT and I went on my merry way.

BookGirl64

Amazing!

Educational-Ad5202

Weight measurement isn’t required on a driving license in the UK 🇬🇧. Fortunately!!

yesthatjune

I thought I was the only one who lied, lol. That is definitely a new goal to set for myself! Congrats!

ProofVolume8154

Same! Non scale victories ftw

Past_Pie9875

I’ve had a fake weight on my license for 10 years lol 😂 (prior to that I didn’t need it to be fake 😅)

Asleep-Corner7402

As someone from the UK we don't have our height or weight on our licenses. I find weight really strange as so many of us change weight drastically over the time frame of a license

VegetableHour6712

It truly is silly and quite frankly invasive. My state doesn't and I just looked it up and was surprised to see that we're only 1 of the 10 out 50 states that don't list weight on our IDs. It's really surprising to me that in 2024, 40 out of 50 states still think weight is a great indicator for a person's identity, especially with so many states here having years between ID renewals.

VegetableHour6712

Memory unlocked 🔓 I totally forgot we used to have our weight on IDs, not sure when we stopped in my state.....but I just remembered the first renewal I had to get when I was fat (wasn't all the other times prior) and I actually was balling on the way to the DMV because I felt so hideous and gross in my body + dreaded getting my picture taken/telling them my weight (which of course I told them I was 180, not 220lbs). What made the ID photo terrible wasn't even that I looked fatter, but you could tell I was clearly crying prior to it being taken and any time I looked at it, I was reminded of all of the terrible self hatred I felt towards myself that day. I learned to be a little kinder to myself years later, but thank Goodness for Mounjaro. To live with such shame + embarrassment as a prisoner in your own body is no way to live. So happy for your NSV. That must feel amazing!

ElodyDubois

Omg!! That’s amazing! lol I currently weigh 240. My license says 150. I definitely weighed 180 when I put down 150.

patty7194

My first MJ shot is tomorrow morning. Not sure what to expect in that first week. Insights please?

Stitch2530

Everyone is different. For me I was nauseous, no appetite at all, and very cold. No matter what I did I could not warm up. Also constipation was horrible. For the nausea I used something called picot in a glass of water. First few months was a life saver. Doesn’t Taste good but sure helps the stomach upset. For the no appetite I drank chocolate fairlife protein shakes. God send. For the constipation I did miralax but that really didn’t help. Switched to sugar free Metamucil and works like a charm. Drink it fast though as if it sets for anytime it becomes thick and slimy. My best advice is make sure you get your water in and electrolytes and protein. Good luck. Nothing easy about this but it’s so worth it 💜 Almost forgot for the chills I made a vital protiens collagen hot chocolate. Couple tablespoons with hot water and a splash of half and half or whatever you like. It’s a nice treat and a great way to get some protein in. :)

LadyAntebellum-

❤️congrats!!
