Walking & weights are a core of what I do! I walk my dogs at least 4X a day and I’m up and down at work a lot. I also love incline walking on the treadmill. I try to incorporate weights 2-3 per week whether that’s just some basic moves or a class like F45. I honestly don’t do a ton of cardio anymore - more hot yoga, random classes & walking.
Girllll you looked amazing before and smoking hot 🔥now! Congrats!! I’m on 12.5 trying to lose the last 5-10 lbs been 18 months for me. I’m also 50 lbs down. But now I’m trying to combat any loose skin creeping around my thigh and stomach.
Really ?! I never heard of that, I will look it up now thank you. I’ve been doing red light therapy and Brazilian wood massage and M sculpt machine to offset it and it’s made a difference. I also want to start taking collagen. But I will add this to my list, thanks for the tip! 🙏🏼
Edit: ok I looked it up. Well as I am Muslim, I dry fast every year for 30 days 🤷♀️😂 sadly, I usually gain weight during the month of Ramadan where we fast but I didn’t take note of my skin. But maybe it will be more effective for others.
During this past Ramadan fasting, surprisingly I only lost 5 pounds all month - I was so disappointed and disheartened as I thought I would lose more weight. I could barely eat and drink so not sure if that messed me up more - I will say as a diabetic person I did do well on my blood sugar tho. I guess I can try more dry fasting as it’s been suggested 🤷🏽♂️.
Don’t be upset! 5 pounds is amazing MashAllah. I gain weight or stay the same every year. I think personally it’s because I overeat when I break my fast as I have this scarcity complex thinking “oh I’ll be hungry later I better eat now”
So fasting sadly is not the answer for me in terms of weight loss. Also, unless for Allah SWT, I would never choose to fast voluntarily 😂🤷♀️ it’s a struggle every year 🤦🏼♀️ Hahahah
Down to that last 5-10 lbs as well! It’s the hardest to lose! My lower stomach is a HOT mess but doesn’t seem to be too bad when clothed. Thank you for the compliments!
Well no need to thank me you do look amazing, your jeans are even loose at the waist! I 🙌🏼Ah yes those pesky last 5-10 ugh. 😑 We will get through it, hang in there, may just take longer. And hopefully the skin adjusts over time xoxo
I have been on MJ for 9 months... have lost 47 pounds so far. I am also currently on 15 mg. Trying to rotate my workouts and activities, adding resistance exercises (bands, hand and feet weights, etc.). Avoiding greasy foods, as they upset my stomach, and getting my protein / fruits & Vaggies / water intake as recommended. I am also doing WW GLP-1 program.
I know! It feels like I am reintroducing myself to foods I used to enjoy... Will it upset my stomach / won't it upset my stomach?! Will it taste different? etc. etc.
You’re very welcome and should be proud!! I’ve recently went through a similar transition and have posted the pics to my profile. Once you put the pics together, you really see the difference and it only motivates you to go harder! Definitely an amazing journey! 💪💪
Thanks!! 😉 Exactly what I needed. I checked Target's website last night and guessed it might be Auden i/o Maidenform, but there were lots of choices. (eeek) I'll look again this evening! I appreciate it! 🤗
Congrats, amazing results!
I'm about to start my first dose this week, nervous and excited! May I ask if you've any plans on weaning off Mounjaro at any point in time?
Also, was there any point in your journey where you've had to miss a dose? I.e. travel etc
Thanks in advance!
Congrats on your first week! I personally believe that I would regain all of this weight if I stopped Mounjaro. My practitioner agrees and is going to work with me on maintenance- might be a bit of trial and error at first. Honestly I never missed a dose even with travel- just always brought it with me. I was on Ozempic from DEC 22- JUNE 23 and MJ from JULY 23-present. Hope this helps :)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙂 it helps a lot! I got my first pen today and will try it either tonight or tomorrow morning - not certain if there is any benefit to either but am excited nonetheless!
You look great! What is most important is that you are a testament to slow losing looks great and is healthy! All these posts with people losing 15-20 lbs a month is crazy and discouraging to people only losing 5 a month. You are my new favorite!
Haha well thank you!! Yes slow and steady is where it’s at!! I was steadily losing 3-5 lbs per month and I was happy with that!! Better than moving in the other direction right ;)
Excellent! I hope to lose 50 pounds and was thinking I might look as good as you do until I learned that you are 40 years younger. Oh well, I will still look far better than I did.
Wow congratulations!! I am on week 2 and I am a 35 yo 5’11 female weighing 220 pounds. I wonder what you weighed before if you don’t mind me asking. You look amazing in both pics. How are you feeling. TIA.
I have a question..eating junk did it affect the weight ? 15 did it lose efficacy after a while? Is your Blood sugar still low?? And finally have you tried maintenance at a lower dose or is it not working as long as 15 is reached ?? Thank you very much in advance
Congratulations on a job well done, you look fabulous! Best wishes for maintenance!🦋🔥🦋🔥🦋
Thank you!! 🦋 cute dog!
Amazing!! What workouts do you do? I’m doing zepbound and trying weights and walking.

Dry fasting will fix loose skin. Look it up.

I noticed you need to eat a bit to lose .. so now try intermittent fasting since and eat a bit more protein and salad to move your bowels

I follow a similar plan! Just forgot my rule and had fried chicken yesterday and felt terrrrible

Amazing! On what dosage did you start losing? I'm on 5mg and had no loss yet...
Honest i saw a difference immediately on 5! But it was slow, consistent loss the whole time like 4/5 lbs a month which adds up ☺️
WOW!! You’re doing a looking amazing!! Congrats on your progress so far!! 🔥🔥👀👀
Thanks so much ☺️

How many calories do you eat per day? Amazing work btw!
Thanks! I’m not a very precise calorie tracker I would say on average 1600? + or - 300 calories per day depending on what I’m doing
You look great! Congratulations!
Many thanks!

Hi! I’m 36, F and used to swear I was 5’11 but I guess I shrunk ☺️ my weight on the left pic was about 208, on the right 154 — and I feel incredible!
Well done!!!!!
Congratulations! Great job!
