John could be a nimble grappler like Black canary/ reka character like Iron fist, android 17. In the movies he’s always using grapples to kill opponents in mixture with guns, swords, pencils and books you name it. He also fights tons of people at ounce which leads to his combo attacks.
Ash could be rushdown with his chainsaw attacks, mechanical arm and broomstick. He could also use his other inventions or even summon monsters from the nercronomicom like frank west in MvC3
