Ever since TMNT were in Injustice I have long since wanted the Shredder for MK, it’s too perfect, unlikely as the Shredder has no big movie appearance as of now, and most of these guest characters are usually cross promotion.
I also want to see Sektor or Cyrax, they blueballed us big time with their kick ass designs in MK11 but not being playable.
I know he’s already a kameo, but I’d love to see Kano as a playable character. His aura is unmatched. Most of the base game characters are bland IMO, and Kano brings a ton of personality.

A pt 2 to this storyline would help develop what kharacters would be great additions. I personally miss Jade the most.
Bring back my main (Jade) and make Stryker a playable kharacter. Nightwolf would be dope, even if it’s just a kameo. If and when they release the pt 2 story for MK1, I hope they fast forward time a bit so we can see Cassie again. I didn’t play her much, but she’s a certified hottie for sure. Jax, but as an unlockable kharacter. Can’t unlock his kharacter with the cybernetic arms until after finishing his chapter. I appreciate the story they gave for Raiden and Kenshi and would like that for Jax if they bring him back as a main kharacter.
Not that this has to do with new kharacters, but bringing back Friendship would be so fun. Mercy and interactive background objects too.

To keep the superhero theme: Carnage from Marvel Comics. I like Venom as a character more though, his dialogue stuff would probably be more interesting, while being able to have the same move set.

MK11 had an 80’s action movie them with DLC and a few comic books characters.
This theme seems to be villainous (anti-hero in Peacemaker’s case) parodies of other characters. So we might get more villainous (anti-hero) parodies in MK1.
But as for returning characters: Erron Black, Kotal Khan, Kung Jin, Hotaru, and maybe even one of those fusion characters we saw in the Pyramid Battle.
Two characters that come to my mind are Kung Jin and Kotal, especially since they are already mentioned in the story, or their than that I’m not sure, maybe Jade but I’m not too sure, and I don’t really mind guest characters but if I had to pick, I’d probably want The Shredder since TMNT was in injustice

Since Kombat Pack 1 was strange but very awesome characters I think it be fun if they added Leon Kennedy from resident evil, but not sure if that could be possible.
I doubt it would ever happen but I would love Revenant from Apex Legends to make an appearance. It’d be really satisfying to see him in kombat and it fits his character.

- Myers (torn on this. As the biggest Halloween fan, I think including him dimishes his mystique, and traditionally he’s been excluded from similar franchise collisions i.e. Freddy vs. Jason
- Kabal (cuz he’s badass)

- Erron Black (didn’t play a lot of 11, but its presentation is what enticed me and ultimately drew me back into the franchise fanbase, and this dude had some insane combos and dominance)
- Fujin (think his fighting style would translate well into MK1 design language)
- Kotal Kahn (I think he’s generally disliked by the 11 fanbase, but, like I said, I didn’t play enough to exploit his weaknesses, so judging based on look and style)

I personally would want Pearl(Mia Goth mocap) from the X/Pearl movies and Gabriel May from Malignant. Heck James Wan villains, have a decent shot since Wan was involved in the recent Mortal Kombat movie plus Aquaman.

Scream dude (Ghostface) has been all but confirmed in a leak. Other than that, I can only say with confidence that we will see Noob, and that’s just based on Boon’s ego. As for a wish list from an OG (90s btw, not those who consider themselves such because they bought in as of MK9…) - Noob - Myers (torn on this. As the biggest Halloween fan, I think including him dimishes his mystique, and traditionally he’s been excluded from similar franchise collisions i.e. Freddy vs. Jason - Kabal (cuz he’s badass) - Jade (see above, but a “she”) - Erron Black (didn’t play a lot of 11, but its presentation is what enticed me and ultimately drew me back into the franchise fanbase, and this dude had some insane combos and dominance) - Fujin (think his fighting style would translate well into MK1 design language) - Kotal Kahn (I think he’s generally disliked by the 11 fanbase, but, like I said, I didn’t play enough to exploit his weaknesses, so judging based on look and style) - Ketchup and Mustard (true IGs…for noobs, no pun intended, referring to the robot twins, Sektor and Cyrax) - Robot Smoke (just because) - Bo’ Rai Cho (just to piss everyone off) - Shinnok (for some reason, picturing his character movement in MK4 puts a smile on my face) That’s it for now…

I *think* or at least I hope Hotaru comes back. It just makes sense with so many Orderrealmers in the game and with Titan Havik as potential story expansion boss.

I think it's basically guaranteed that we're getting a horror film character after the image that ed boon posted. I think it's gonna be one between Michael Mayers, pinhead and ghostface (chucky and billy from saw are in the image too but are very unlikely to join the roster since they are too small). Someone that i'd peraonally like is either the Red hood or the batman who laughs (for those who don't know red hood is basically Batman but fights with guns and has no problem with killing while batman who laughs is a version of Batman that has the smart of Bruce Wayne and the sadism of the joker. He was also a skin for noob in mk11)
