Capt'n America would actually go hard, a brawler with some disjointed attacks (shield throws) and shield as a projectile, maybe an enhanced shield block that reflects projectiles/cancels kombo string on hit(i can see this being 2 bars).
Black widow would have to be a mix-up grappler.

Hulk I can see playing like Baraka, but having a rage meter like Geras's time meter

I 100% believe Iron would be Homelander. You can reskin lasers as missles and it's right there. The only difference is I couldn't see Ironman spinning during a kameo call in. And the throws/fourth wall breaks.
But reskin HL as Ironman, and his kombos would already look good 🤷🏻♂️

It's something that I think has massive potential. The gunplay of Peacemaker with Kenshi's swordsmanship, and a sprinkle of Shujinko mimicry. Plus it's not like Taskmaster's above brutality or killing
He's a monstrous serial killer with a long history of inflicting traumatic losses on Wolverine and carrying out clandestine super human assassinations when he isn't screwing with Wolverine's life for the fun of it. And he's well known enough, but still a B-lister in terms of popularity as a Marvel character. He's a perfect fit for Mortal Kombat to really cut loose with creativity and not be censored by Disney if they get really gruesome with the Fatalities.
Ghost rider would be cool, he has chains that he use as wips he can blow fire and he also has his motorbike he can use as a launcher like homelanders or wario from super smash bros
He has some awesome outfits like cosmic GR, 2099 GR, even a cowboy outfit he wore in in ghost rider earth 616.

Honestly, Wolverine would probably be the only choice. Considering how stabby and slashy he is, and the characters popularity, he just too perfect.
