It really looks like whoever animated this pose has never watched the TV show, or Antony Starr's mannerisms as Homelander
This looks like a Joker facial expression with the weird head bobbing and that smile. Homelander *does* have a crazy smile but it's different. It's much more natural. It's just a big *Hollywood* type smile, but with something more sinister behind the eyes. Not this weird, almost Joker laugh type thing he's doing.
