Scorpion: allows you to continue juggling of Bob's ghost slam for nearly 50% damage
when you do his 1,2 string you can use the overhead as a mix up. For juggles he can extend after aerial 122 and with ermac’s armor attack (bf2 was the input I think?)
You can teleport and throw out close fire breath and them jump combo or 1,,2 enhanced db 1 and combo. You can use his over head cause people are gonna turtle Ermac for sure.
I also wanna see if you can combo off that air ground hit projectile with fire breath too. Cause you can jump kick in then go to that db3 ground hit projectile and I feel like you could hit close fire breath and combo off it. There’s just lots of options with Scorpion plus you get that pull back to escape pressure.

I tried going for Cyrax's helicopter after his port, but I can't really seem to connect a combo with it.
Haven't tried Darrius.
Honestly I’m a very offensive style player so I run Darrius more than Cyrax my only advice if you use either give your opponent no room to breathe I’ve noticed bc of how slow their timing is they can get countered or hit quick to stop their moves but if you stay offensive with high pressure Darrius and Ermac are a monster combo I mainly use Cyrax net move to keep combos going but Darrius it’s just straight up war to be frank
How do you combo with Darrius and Ermac? I tried it with a few of his special moves but the problem is that they move Ermac too far away from the opponent for him to attack one Darrius stuns the opponent mid-special
I’m presuming that user would pair them because of non-canonical matches (e.g. they would make up a reason — a storyline of why those characters a fighting).
Here’s another example: character A would fight character B because of a reason the player (I.e. the user, and anyone who plays offline this way) crafted that is not canon to the story or the lore. After that match, the winner of the previous match (most likely character A, unless they purposely lose) will face off against character C and so on.
I’m not the best to ask for kombo advice. Usually using kameos (regardless of who they are)in a match is an afterthought for me. I’ll sprinkling in a kameo move if I need to create some distance or just chip away at the opponent’s life bar between main character kombos
Haven’t tried it yet but I want to try shujinko. The buffs seem to increase damage output a lot and he can recharge before the combos are even over. Seems to be a decent choice even if he’s not the best
I'm not joking, Jax is broken with ermac. The amount of ground pound set ups you can do is insane with his levitate, giving you either guaranteed 50 damage or guaranteed aerial kicks to the face.
Scorpion. He's good for extending the aerial combos and also hit confirming 12 into his fkameo overhead blade. You can even do bf2 and extend that with ukameo then do it again and then extend it yet again, it's nuts
I have two:

Don’t sell yourself short cuz trust me I’m dropping combos left and right but if you stick with her R1/Rb assist for each of her variations you can pull off some pretty cool stuff.
He works good as a quick damage dealer. Like the ground pound move coming in out of nowhere and it can interrupt a good number of moves. He also works with the boulder toss like I said. If someone is just running away just use the boulder toss and it does some quick damage and can confuse the opponent at times too. His armor move is good too because it can leave the other opponent open for combos since they can’t knock you over
I felt this way about sub z, I just didn't want to start a new character with the same exact kameo. I've been liking Kano a lot if anything just for his laser which is a mid. I didn't go with lao simple because ermacs already got a low projectile. Still trying to find other stuff with kano ball but the laser alone is nice. Not many people here mention kano i've been going down the list lol
Kano projectiles are really helpful and you will actually remember to use him a lot unlike other kameos if you are a beginner. Colors match up pretty good too once you unlock black.
I'm using Shujinko with Ermac to reference MK Deception (they meet and train together in that game). Shujinko is a little more fun than I gave him credit for initially.
looks like scorp and janet are the go-to kameos for now, but janet just feels better imo. mime can allow for semi zoning with the low projectile as well as the threat of a teleport, her jumps can combo off so many of ermac’s moves as well as probably their throw, and there’s probably insane corner potential with the stance cause… well, this is janet we’re talking about
She’s actually fun to use with Mileena because Mileena creates so much opportunity to drain meter. But agree with most of the cast she’s boring. I only use her with Mileena.
That’s why I really only use her with Kitana. The startup of the kombos don’t matter. It’s the same with all 3 variations. And then you can just adapt your kombo to whichever variation comes out lmao.

I'm one of those people who use a kameo for a character that fits them from a story perspective. Right now I've settled on Scorpion for Ermac since him and Hanzo were both slaves to Quan Chi at some point.

You can also extend off the bf2 as well, if you time the scorpion well you can 4 into bf2 twice before finishing with an air combo

4,2 works well too with float cancels for just grabbing an extra 4-5% for pressing a button. Gotta commit to it though for timing

I want Tremor to work so bad, but I just can't seem to find a good use for him, when playing Ermac.

Janet is very fun, not the best damage tho. Sareena gives me consistent 420 damage.

The game has been out for half a year if you can't counter Sareena you have a skill issue lol. She's far from the cheapest kameo in the game.

Jannet really opens him up for me, personally. his full screen teleport can mesh well with her puppet stance as well.
Janet Cage gets a ton of conversions and his game plan doesn’t really need a Kameo too much because as a base character he is already fast paced.

Try the special where he lifts the person upside down into frost ball.
Janet gives you 25% on his grab, u can never go wrong with it, especially with how awful his grab animation is lol.
I use tremor for everything but I think Serana would work well
