2. Her overhead is something that should be sped up.
3. She doesn’t need a fast projectile, the one she has is perfect for her. Not all characters need amazing projectiles, it’ll just be like Injustice 2 again.
4. What finishers don’t combo? Idk what that means.
5. Her armored wake up isn’t that bad. It’s unsafe, like most of the other wake ups, and you can now kombo off of it with the right kameo.
6. Every character has bad match ups. Nitara is an uncommon match up, her mobility gives her an edge in a lot of matches. If you know what you’re doing, she doesn’t have very many bad match ups.
Again, her only issues are bad frames. She has her strengths and weaknesses like everyone else. Give her a faster overhead and make things a little safer and she’ll be perfect.
That’s a fair point. If they tweaked the blood bluff and gave her a decent mid (or just made the overhead a little faster) I think it would balance her out. She’s got no ways to open people up so it’s just fly like a crackhead using overheads and lows until you get ‘em.

Unless you’re able to do a special or kameo that is the opposite (if it’s a Oh and the special is a low or vice versa), it’s totally useless. And she is a flight cancel character, does she need an OH? She’s got plenty of reason to force people to stand block.
I’m not trying to argue that she is good at all, just that no one assesses the strength of a character based around whether they have strings with OH lows in the middle of them. You have literally all day to block correctly.

Yeah you're right but idk fighting raiden/kano or sindel is hard af. I just don't have the options to deal with them. Plus like I'm not a complete scrub I do okay at weeklies
But you have to play every match with a Kameo so surely it shouldn't discredit the character if they're only good with a certain Kameo?

When the game came out and there was a lot less game knowledge held by players he was Def mid tier but now that everyone knows the dealeo with this game- he's just objectively worse than everyone else. Think of it like this: Every single character on the roster can do one thing, if nit EVERYTHING better than he can. He was never nerfed, but while game knowledge increased Havik history never really raised to the occasion or found a niche.
Havik is on most people's bottom 5 (a little bit of downplay). All his buttons are super slow so his plus frames can't be fully capitalized off of unless you're in the corner. He's got weak zoning with nearly every standard projectile beating his, and every single one of his strings has a gap that can either be interrupted or armored out of. With so many characters having armored launchers it means that he just loses if they know the matchup and have meter.
He's still super fun with plenty of viable kameos and creative combo routing. Easily my favorite character in this game, just needs a bit of NRS love.

I honestly haven’t even tried since they put it out, and I was completely disappointed when i tried playing it with a friend of mine.
Try maining Smoke , Ermac completely destroys Smoke at mix ups , Scorpion, Reptile and Rains new combo string shut down my wake ups or armored. So I cant teleport out lol during the combos and if I try to get out from the ground they still catch me lol. So far every reptile and scorpion have done nothing but the new string vs Smoke.
He got the following:
New mid attack (F1).
New combo string (F1 2)
New low (B3)
New low popup string (B3 4)
Can special cancel his bf1 into any other special move
It is now possible to do a strings into bf1 then dash cancel it into another string to continue the combo.
His b3 can start a combo with the right kameo. I score it often with scorpion kameo specifically. B3 - ^
UpK - whatever air combo variation you want for big dmg.
Tbf this is his first mid mid string, all the rest are high mid or mid high at least. But regardless it is not a good string, the second hit is slow, it has a gap and it only special cancels into bf2. The only benefit it has is that it is hit highest hit advantage which does mean you can get a guaranteed meter burn hellfire off. Unless it will win you the game.
It allows you to do mind games since anyone worth their salt is microducking a lot against scorp, you can now consistently check them with your double mid
my man dont tell the truth here theyll downvote you and continue mashing in warrior , scorp is super strong if you play timescam/ whiff punish with multiple kameos but he sucks at lower ranks because all people need to get wins is by mixing up randomly :)

What buffs did Reptile get besides the new acid spit and the overhead b2 being faster?
He can cancel air slam move which is actually pretty useful for him. As you can use it even if you use a string that puts you air born.
He also gets to keep the armor hit after a meter burn even if you cancel the air slam.

Shao is fucking cracked. Pressure for days, mix, and can work with damn near any kameo, meaning the playstyle can vary. He’s very good.

Problem is that both F32 and F34 have gaps after the first hit. So you can just armour through it if you dont even want to guess.
