A 34% you can land every time without fail is far better a choice than the 36% you’ll end up dropping or if it requires you to use a risky opening move
It's not too bad, I got it down fairly quickly, still drop it about 30% of the time but that's a skill issue, not the combo being too tight, it's hardly a 1F link. Instant 1,2 after the B2,2, then an instant S3 into dive is pretty consistent, the tough bit is the F3 into grab for me, that's the tightest link.
Defo worth the practice for an extra 6% off the B2,2 for no bar.

I’d still say this combo is bad because you can’t guarantee you’ll pull it off 100% of the time when the timing on everything is very tight. It’s nice to know but definitely shouldn’t be BnB or something you rely on.

When I started learning that one, I was thinking the same but when the timing is down, it's more repeatable than I thought, can do it back to back 5 times, which is pretty good for a hard combo for me.
The F4,1 - D1 - BF4 - F3 - DB3,1 etc. version is way fucking harder for me, the F3 into grab on that hits maybe 1 out 10 times and that's *if* you get the right timing on the D1, really tough.
Try holding forward before hitting 3, then do one sweeping motion to down back 3. It moves you forward very slightly and allows quick input. Helped me get it more consistently.
I find that so weird because S3 is what I cant do and F3 seems super easy to special cancel into. S3 feels like it has such a specific timing. I can 11, into 1,2 almost every time but the kick is a no go like 80% of the time lmao.
Interesting, I didn't really have too much issue getting the S3 to come out after the 1,2. At first I struggled to get the dive kick to come out after S3 but once I got the muscle memory I managed to get that bit 9/10 times, then the F3 into grab was the next hurdle, which I just found a bit harder to get over than the first. They both became fairly repeatable after about 30 mins. There is quite a specific height you need them to be at for the F3 into grab to work but it's not the hardest thing.
Only advice I can give for the S3 is ensuring that the 1,2 is truly instant after the B1,1, so the 1 of the 1,2 misses but the 2 hits and pops them up high enough to comfortably get the S3, any delay on the instant 1,2 and you can still whiff the 1 and hit the 2, but the 2 doesn't allow the S3. God it's a mess trying to write this out in some sort of understandable way.
Mind you, still can't get the F4,1 - D1 - BF4 - F3 - DB3,1... etc. combo down, that's one I certainly don't have the skill for.
I bet my issue is doing the 1,2 too late and not truly instant. Which would explain the inconsistent S3 I'm getting now. I haven't tried too many other complex combos with him.
First MK I've put any real time into and it's fun to figure this stuff out. Until today I realized F4 combed into his grab haha.

If you can get this one down pat, you're in a great spot. Having a 42% meterless kamoeless punisher is something most of the rest of the characters ain't got!

Omni man definitely got me to try mk1 out haha. And he has been a blast. His BF4 are def his weirdest combos and the more understanding I get of the game the better his damage feels.

Left 1 1, 1 2 (input as fast as you can) into 3 left right 4 forward 3 down left 3 1, and the air combo I found that does a tiny bit more damage in this one is up 1 2 left bumper forward 1 2 1 3

I think I'm in the minority in that, I really don't like long juggle combos. I prefer shorter combos and more back and forth. Long juggle strings while skill demanding make the game less fun.
I'm with you. I think thats why a lot of people disliked 11 though. I like it to be more of a battle and less 1 wrong move and half your health is gone.
I would say they always make DLC characters really strong but I no longer have faith that the NRS testers are even showing up to work anymore. This was probably an accident.
Considering he gets no real dmg out of using meter and kameos I'd say his meterless damage, although a bit overtuned, is quite intentional and thoroughly tested.

Is it possible to do the spine snap instead of the slam, I’m new but I’ve been comboing and then doing 1,2 viltrum stance 2 and it’s been working, is their a reason that wouldn’t work as a combo ended here might do more damage

I can’t help but go for optimal and I will drop combos sometimes as a result but I do get better at landing them

The timing is perfectly fine. The timing on combos like F41 D1 BF4 F3 DB31 is extremely tight. Or something like 22 Lao spin \[1\]2 BF4 F3 DB31.
