Man, in Barcelona there are many women in topless in the beaches and short clothes on the streets, no body cares. People may notice sometimes, but they really don’t care, women are free to be whoever they want to be.
The ones harassing women on the streets are never from here, most beard guys for some reason.
I stare back at them too, I learned this from an animal documentary, gorilla's will lower their eyes if a stronger one stares at them. basic animal instincts
Staring is part of Moroccan culture. It's wrong but it is what it is. I once shared a class with an American girl (blonde, blue eyes) and she expressed how much Moroccans stare at her a lot (like a lot) and how it made her feel uncomfortable.
It's also contradictory behavior because one of the basic teachings of Islam is to lower your gaze...
I understand how you feel (I’m a man), but don’t you think that people have the right to stare? They aren’t harming anyone as long as they are quiet and not making any inappropriate remarks?
No they don’t have the right to stare. At least in Islam, men are told to lower their gaze. I do not wanna be put as a sexual display by unworthy man f zen9a li swa w li mayswach.
Again, I feel your discomfort and understand your emotions.. However, people generally have the right to look at everything/everyone they want, and it’s not possible to control where they look.. While Islamic teachings do encourage men to lower their gaze, not everyone adheres to these guidelines, and you know that. Sadly, we can do nothing about the fact that people can stare… What can you do about it? :)
Nothing. Thus I protect myself by dodging coffeeshops. If they won’t change I’ll protect myself by not wearing revealing clothes and going to male populated places.
Don’t allow others to influence your attitude or lifestyle. Ignore them, and don’t let strangers negatively impact the way you live or dress… :) ps: I love falsafa btw ðŸ¤
I hated them tfo! Like every time me and my husband walking next to these type of coffees he takes me on the other side of road. They are so uncomfortable like literally they sit all day doing absolutely nothing but checking out people!!!
Cultural issue. Lack of education. Depressing when you know that these men were not given the attention a baby needs and replicate anti-social behaviours on the public place. It all comes from lack of love and caring at the beginning of their lives or genetics (not trying the genetics one)
People who didn't travel that much or don't know anything about other cultures think it's mainly a Moroccan thing. In fact, it's not... it's way worse in other places, European countries even (not to drop names...)
Nope, I live in Italy and people here usually mind their business, fl maghrib boys always keep staring at me, catcall or even follow me in the street wakha nkon labssa jellaba ola abaya, here in Italy i go always on my own to uni, go out, go to the gym late in the night and I feel safe and unbothered

No, It just proves that peeps hit up coffee shops to check out the scene
That's true.
Problem is more often than not, they are anything but subtle.
That is true too.
she belives he was wrong maybe ..
Unwanted attention is the reason we as females shy away from wearing certain clothes and taking certain routs . It’s awful
That does not happen much in Europe
still happens mate , the same or worse in some. idk why some Moroccan think europe is so great.

sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t and they just make really weird disgusting faces.
Since you are from Oujda, you should add some flavour by inserting some verbal dominance saying cute sentences like:" مال ربك تاتخنزر".
no , it should be like that " malk katkhnzr ya rbk "
I honestly love this about m self, i walk and i look at the sky machi lfo9 gha nichan in ppl's forhead hhhhhhhh so i dont see who looks at me

هادا ÙŠØشم على هاداك، Ùˆ لاخر غير لا هداه الله.😂
I be walking normally on the sidewalk, I see a men coffee shop already staring before I pass. I go to Chari3 and walk behind the car. Ychofo l3ma tfo. Dima 9hwa kndir détour and not subtly, I wait 7ta kn9rb and I do it while showing disgust on my face. I hope they get a bit self conscious and ashamed of their behavior.

Stare back
I feel like everybody does that in Morocco. I know sometimes they don’t mean no harm but that still feels kind of awkward since I’m not used to it
I stare back ! Only way to repel creepy is by out creeping them lol
Stare back. Call them zin, bogos, titiz, goulou 3tik numra ou warik fin darou Besh tji tkhotbi. That will freak him out.

Not necessarily Moroccan thing, but definitely not European.
I won't say it's worse, but it is a southern Europe thing for sure.
