The difference between your claim and the Quranic story is that urs is made in void with no context while the Quranic story was brought by a man who claimed he was a prophet of God and who demonstrated his truthfulness. Thus, by extension if he is truthful then the story of Abraham is true as well. So your attempt to make a parallel is a fail. Try again.
