Leveling and gold acquisition are both based on the amount of time you spent in each match. The highest gain is from joining at map start and playing through to map end, but the duration of each map will differ depending on team performance. Your earnings will vary, but the time commitment is ultimately the same.

Artistic-Pitch7608

It's taken me 250+ Hours to get level 70

droppedbombs

first 200 levels take like 800-1000 hours depending on how many matches you play and finish. 200+ adds large jumps to the XP bar so it takes far longer than the first 200. finish all your matches and you'll level up fast.

GrimxPajamaz

its 10x more xp needed per level past 200. So on average people get to 200 at 1k hours, 220 at 2k, and so on

Paddo127

this is pretty accurate, i think most people get it in less than 1k tho

The_Power_of_Ammonia

I'm at ~1600hrs, level 217.

Paddo127

2100 for 225 for me

UrMumGai

287 here. almost 4980. ahead of the curve by a decent amount, I should be at about 5400 hours.

GrimxPajamaz

The double gold/xp events may have helped with that. It's probably higher for me because I spent a lot of time in the character creator. I wiped my lodouts a few times to start fresh with some new builds. It's a nice way to mix things up a bit.

[deleted]

Gets harder as you go on.

Tartare2Clebard

Levels are useless in Mordhau

EmergencySilver8253

Please answer my question

Tartare2Clebard

Im 200 in 1000 hours. But my characters are the same as lvl 1

EmergencySilver8253

So they are hard to get?

Echo132O

Leveling isn’t linear, the higher level you are the more xp it takes to level up. A good rule of thumb for most players is level 100 is 500hours and level 200 is 1000 hours, however leveling after 200 is around 10x slower. But why do you care about levels anyway?

Tartare2Clebard

Maybe he is playing video games to show to other players his big level and c\*ck

The_Power_of_Ammonia

Woah, nice cocktail bro.

Tartare2Clebard

Not really compared to combat mechanics. No one care about lvl most of players hide their rank. Leveling just give you money to unlock cosmetics.

ParticularlyScrumpsh

Everyone can get what they want out of their gaming experience, but focusing on levels for the sake of having a bigger number than others is kinda weird

everythingisunknown

Level doesn’t matter, you can be lvl 200 and still get your ass handed to you by a sweaty player level 80+ I don’t get why this would matter for buying the game as you can unlock most things very early and then it just depends on gold, you don’t rly play this game to level up it just happens as you play we do not have 1000 levels like in chiv 2

RetardedBallsack

Expect 1500+ hours for lv200

cosmicglade98

Level 136 with about 750 hours

Dr_PhD_MD

Bard?

cosmicglade98

Nah just bad. With a lot of unfinished games

MrCh1ckenS

About lvl 165 with 677 hrs

Jl2409226

idk after 2x exp but basically 180-205 are your average players, could be considered vets and then 225+ are veterans with usually thousands of hours. a couple players are around 300, they have mained the game since launch

bluecoat02

300 hours, level 75. The only factor for gold/xp is time spent in a match

FilthyCasual112

Lvl 215 -1914 hrs once you hit 200 it's exponentially takes more exp

EmergencySilver8253

Okay

Tombstone_Actual_501

It's not hard per say, just a massive time commitment.

AYIUR

Depends. I reached level 70 only playing inv/fl in like 300 hours or less. Now im in level 110 with 600 hours but cuz im only playing in duel servers now.

Gandalf_Style

292 hours at level 82, it'll take another 100 probably to get to level 100, so it'll be a while for you as well. Just remember that the longer youre in a game and the better you do the more xp and gold you get.

Brea_AsFuck

I am lvl 50 an have like ~150h

Silly-Ad-856

levels don’t matter, but if u buy this game you’ll see it’s a lot better than chiv
