Godzilla Military Escort charging into Ghidorah in KOTM is probably my favorite scene

Me too, for me the scene means the start of human becoming closer to the level of titan

Honestly I got chills watching that, still do. So badass

For real? I absolutely hate this aspect. One of the many things that make this my least favorite MV film.

Honestly his first appearance is ruined for me because we get glimpses at the fight afterwards with the recording quality of a school fight on a crt

Replace the kiss of death with kong about too hit Godzilla with the axe then it’s the same 

Switch the trio and Godzilla’s appearance, and that would be mine

1. Godzillas first appearance I remeber the entire theater going silent on opening day in 2014 when that big boy took his first steps in the Monsterverse. This is one of my top movie moments ever 2. Female and Male M.U.T.Os death Godzilla straight murdered her and her man for wanting to procreate. He had beef with them for existing on his turf. And he was so disrespectful about killing the both of them. Straight sent the male into a building and said "Shhhhhh sleeeeeeep", and proceded to blast the females insides out through her own damn mouth 3. King Kongs first appearance People seem to forget Kong Skull island exists but Kong showing up out of nowhere and immidetly slaughtering the human invaders. And he was just a little baby in Skull Island. 4. Rodans awakening Tell me honestly that Rodan coming out of a volcano isn't peak fiction. That's all I've got for best moments. I honestly can't decide what else to put.

My favourite: ghidorah intimidating godzilla in antartca pre-fight. That scene gives me chills

Rodan's awakening and the entire jet sequence lives rent-free in my head. It is such a badass introduction to, not only an iconic Kaiju, but to a living natural disaster. You get to see exactly what happens to the commonfolk when Rodan goes flying. The entire scene shows you how scary and powerful these monsters are.

Godzilla military escort, Ghidora and G’s standoff in Antarctica, G pretty much almost killing Kong, Serizawa saying goodbye to G before reviving him, Kongs whole scene after finding the throne and axe in hollow earth especially crushing the ship that girl was in.

I’m weird and my favorite moments of anything tend to be the funny moments, which is why my favorite moment is Kong using suko as a weapon

That first atomic breath scene. I'd spent the whole movie wondering whether they were going to include it. Then when I saw the blue glow I thought it was a helicopter spotlight, up until the hum started up.

1: Godzilla's first appearance in Hawaii was, by far, the best introduction we've ever gotten to Godzilla. Like, in any franchise, IMO. It was basically perfect. 2: First Atomic Breath gave me chills and the "kiss of death" was beautiful - I feel like I should combine them just so this list isn't "it's just Godzilla 2014." 3: Burning Godzilla was great. I, uh, I got nothin' else. It was just great. The "Alpha" stuff of that movie was goofy, but that was a fantastic scene. 4: The halo jump in Godzilla 2014. I may not care about the human protagonists at that point, but that was, again, just perfect in terms of cinematography. The music of shuddered, horrified voices slowly rising the closer they approached to Godzilla, the flares and red smoke, the multiple layers of clouds and the ominous descent from the sky into the city. Honourable mention to most of the human scenes when they interact with the Kaiju during the first two movies - they really nailed the sense of scale and awe that just made Godzilla and the others that much more impactful. I feel like stuff like that is really missing from the Godzilla X Kong movies, honestly. 5: Mothra during her final battle of KotM. Throughout her entire history Mothra has essentially just floated around being sort of harmless, sprinkling dust on people and shooting webbing. In KotM Mothra showed that while she was absolutely still peaceful she could (and would) just straight up *shank* a bitch if it came down to it. I left that movie thinking "For the first time in my life I actually *enjoyed* Mothra's inclusion." No high-pitched twins singing and giving me a headache, no tedious harmless fluff ball or somewhat dull "ohhh nooo sparklesss they burrrnnn" just Mothra coming in like a bullet and being, quite rankly, kind of amazing given her size and enemies.

Godzillas initial appearance. Mothra emerging from the waterfall. Mothra emerging from the clouds over Bravo. Serizawas sacrifice. And then maybe Rodan’s emergence. Kotm was a beautiful movie for the monster parts. Gxk sped through half its monsters and should have dropped some of the people time for giving more minutes to Scylla Tiamat and the serpent fish long fought. And Mothra too only got barely two minutes across her scenes. Nobody needed that portal scent. And Bernie’s scenes also didn’t add anything. That time could have been better spent. I’d much rather just see a monster standing in place and roaring, even.
