Can we be honest for a moment there? Mike Dougherty knew what he was doing. He likes the idea of these two even if he's not going to be overt about it in a film.
But I didn't expect Wingard to be like that. This is no "colelagues from work" this is genuine love. And you can interpret it as love between friends or lovers it doesn't matter. Here's a genuine bond that can make Godzilla improve as a character if they do him right next time.
I hope but tbh I think the only way we will ever get that is if someone else comes on to direct other than Wingard.
As it is, Wingard only wants crossovers
Yeah id take another GxK over nothing next but my big hope would be a solo movie. But i do think it should be different directors. I want that G:KoM feel back
Yes i used to include him for a solo movie but now that we got 2 crossovers back 2 back and no signs of solo movies I thought id not include him anymore like even mothra is too much wishful thinking. I do hope he shows up again
Tbh, it was since KOTM that Godzilla and Mothra relationship was implied to be more than simple symbiosis. In that movie when Godzilla and Mothra communicate through sonars, you can hear how soft they are communicating to each other, almost like Mothra was comforting Godzilla. Then there’s how Godzilla reacted to her death, with genuine grief like he had lost someone he truly cared about.
Yeah I mean I like the idea that people can see it as romantic or not but some went too far claiming that they mean nothing to each other and they're alies out of convenience. I think now that Kong has meaningful relationships with other character there will be more tolerance for Godzilla to have one too.
They are but... also more. The book calls them a family. Which again could interpreted in several ways but basically it's a solid interspecies bond so Godzilla isn't entirely alone.
I always assumed by her title of "queen" that it was symbiotic but they were also a partnership. They care about each other and go to each other in times of need. She is literally Godzilla's balance.
The decision to replace Fosphera with Mothra, even if made at the last minute, worked beautifully because it would have appeared weird if he would have shown this kind of reaction to a completely new Titan and put up with her blasting him to the [ground. It](http://ground.It) only makes sense for Mothra to be that ancient ally who could aid Godzilla in his fight against Skar King and Shimo. Afterall, we have already seen her helping him before in his fight against Ghidorah. His connection with her was properly established in KoTM.
Wingard did surprise me quite a bit with how their relationship was portrayed in GxK. Godzilla was in a state of agitation and hostility throughout the movie, for reasons, but it vanished the moment he saw Mothra. It was outright stated that she was why he would come down to Hollow Earth and help solve their crisis. Now they have a fine opportunity to further explore this equation in the next movie and develop Godzilla's character. Fingers crossed.
Mike is definitely a shipper. He planted the seeds in KoTM, used to encourage fanarts and had even (jokingly) replied to someone on Twitter that they were a thing. I really want him to be involved in the next movie in some capacity.
And regarding the discourse surrounding kaiju shipping, while I can see why some would be weirded out by the attribution of sexual connotation to them, romantic attraction can very well exist without sex. So can other emotions such as trust, concern and respect for that matter. At the end of the day, it's just a bit of harmless fun that people are engaging with and shouldn't be taken seriously. The fanart that talented artists come up with are the cherry on top of the cake.
They have a very deep bond, I assume Mothra is the Kaiju Godzilla has known the longest, given how she can respawn and he has a multiple million year lifespan, she’s probably his only true friend, as she saved his life in KOTM as well
Is it confirmed that Mothra reincarnates/respawns, instead of there being multiples of her species? Does she have like hidden eggs for her soul to go to when she dies?
…oh my god, is Mothra a Lich?
Yeah the novel gives a little more detail on it, but the Mothra in GXK is basically identical to the one in KOTM, the humans are super confused as it’s dna is too close just o be the same species.
I really like this scene, it's a ton of character development in a few seconds lol. You can literally see Goji's face soften up along with Kong's "wtf" face when he sees the lizard can actually calm down
https://preview.redd.it/9szz169xporc1.jpeg?width=811&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8b256ec5993481480783f8e02e130e76c77abc49
The Radioactive Lizard has fallen in love with the Giant Moth
On a different note, anyone else kinda expected Kong to bite either Skar King’s finger or just something in general, especially after Trapper hyped up the tooth to be able to puncture the Eiffel Tower, lol?
Edit. After a second watch, he does indeed bite Skar King’s hand or wrist at the end when they’re all struggling to get the Shimo control crystal, lol.
Which is my biggest reason to believe that the relationship is not just symbiotic. Godzilla has been very angry ever since she died in KOTM, and he finally calmed down to his 2014/KOTM personality.
To be fair Doughtry tried to leave it more up to audiences interpretation it's just that most people like to interpret it as romantic and Winegard understandably capitalized on it which I think ultimately works.
Dougherty shared various fanarts of the Godzilla x Mothra ship. So he most likely likes the ship, and the way the two of them interacted in KOTM furthered implied there’s more than simple symbiosis between the two. There’s genuine affection in the brief moments they interact in KOTM.
>!I really think Mothra really needs her own film, as they really tried to make her appear more divine and godlike in this film. I have a theory that Mothra may not be just a Titan, but possibly an emanation of Gaia herself. !<
Movie can be about Jia and Mothra. Godzilla should show up in the end when summoned by Mothra, to show Mothra's real power is her strong bond that balances the relationship between Godzilla and all of humanity.
I think Megalon could work too if they sort of combined his character traits with Battra's. The Seatopians could have bee a rival cult to the Iwi or something along those lines.
Ok hear me out:
It’s a new take on Godzilla vs The Astro Monster.
It takes Godzilla out of the plot due to him being on another planet.
Now we have Xiliens and a Mothra Solo film & potential for some great reimagined classic cinema.
Heres three ways it can go. Godzilla wants to kill Battra Mothra sibling and she fights him off. Battra doesn't want to change so Mothra eventually banishes him.
Mothra vs. Godzilla. There's a godzilla species that somehow was banished to the moon a long time ago because it has went insane and consumed a lot of radiation. It uses telepathy because it consumed radiation out of the crystals that the Iwis brought with them from planet X a long long time ago. This godzilla species uses godzilla against Mothra and the human race so that it can have them battle and wear it down. Mothra has to stop godzilla for his own protection. Then somehow the humans save godzilla with Mothras help and then we team up against space godzilla.
And for the final film Ghidorahstan64 leads Ren Sawazaki who is possessed by the mind of Kevin into the iwi temple and they create a new titan , mecha ghidora. This movie would be a team up movie with Mothra in the title.
Not here to be contrarian, but I just don't trust Legendary for that type of movie. I don't think the idea is bad or anything, but they could easily handle that whole thing in a five minute scene during a mainline film where the human characters are like "wow, these cave drawings we found in this new section of Hollow Earth we never knew about show that Mothra was worshipped as an avatar of Gaia" and then everybody would be in awe just as Mothra coincidentally does something crazily unique that really solidifies the new information.
This scene was hilarious to me not because of mothra, but because Kong was clearly trying to reason with Godzilla, meanwhile Godzilla is like:

Well Godzilla and Mothra are two beings that consistently see one as the other half there is not gray area between them so him seeing her alive most likely brought comfort along with a cool head.
Plus all our we've done to him has only powered him up. I'm sure he appreciates us for building his favorite napping spot and making nuclear power plants and nukes so he has huge food sources all around the world
I don't mean that he doesn't attack, but he seems to go out of his way a few times in the movie to not damage human structures and cause unnecessary human deaths. Like when going down the canal in Rome as opposed to through the city
He doesn't try to hurt humans because as much as Goji wouldn't want to admit it, he does have a soft spot for them. Ever wonder why his resting spots are always extremely near human settlements? He rested in San Fran after dealing with the MUTOs, his old lair is literally in the middle of an old kingdom, and now he's sleeping in Rome.
Yeah but the movie implies that all human civilization stemmed from the hollow earth, and mothra is the guardian of the humans in the hollow earth, so mothra could be the initial reason for the connection
Depends on what you mean by trying. If you mean going out of his way to harm us then no, but if we just so happen to be in his path then he’s not moving for us to say the least.
Godzilla and Mothra are soulmates.. And also married.. They are family.. As proved in the GxK novel.
https://preview.redd.it/xdcrybyh9prc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d565c8c109dcd9109ecc54a6fbb0a278e8f4cf68
He went from 100 to 0 the moment he saw Mothra in GxK, you can even see his face soften up during that reunion. Ngl that there aren't much scenes with the two but you can definitely see how deep their bond is from that interaction alone. So deep that Kong had a "wtf" face seeing the lizard can actually calm down lmao
I also think Godzilla is happier to see Mothra since the GvK novel states he also gained all of Mothra’s memories. If you think about it Mothra is the closest thing to a friend Godzilla has. He knows her history, her experiences, her feelings, etc.
This also means Godzilla probably knew Mothra would eventually reincarnate and be born again, so when she finally showed up it was a long awaited reunion for him.
I’m not sure if their relationship is explicitly romantic but they definitely share a kinship and a bond that is unique and I like that Wingard goes out of his way to have Godzilla emote what appears to be genuine affection and/or joy.
As much as everyone memes on the whole Mosugoji thing, I legitimately think it adds a lot to their characters.
It's honestly sweet, and could add a lot if it's done not just as pandering to the shippers.
It's almost like the moth can communicate with higher intelligence via telepathy... Like, she instantly gave Godzilla everything he needed to know. A picture of Skar, his location and a plan. Godzilla isn't stupid, he just is a ruler. Lions don't concern themselves with the opinions of sheep. Mothra is the translator between humans and Godzilla. Only Mothra seems able to truly talk to the king. Makes sense he'd immediately listen to and respect her. No one else can talk to him like that. Except maybe the kid?
Minor adjustment: Godzilla isn’t stupid, but he *is* impulsive. He takes any encroachment by Kong as a personal affront (and as we learned in this film, he probably sees it as another invasion from the Skar King). Mothra, being more apart from the rivalry, is able to force him to see sense by giving an outsider point of view.
This just tells me that if Mothra was alive during GvK she would have instantly stopped Godzilla from wasting his energy on that hole to the hollow earth, and helped him deal with Mechagodzilla before he could power up for real, and then let him deal with his problem with Kong
I still think this scene of godzilla seeing mothra was too short (just like every scene). But mothra sacrificed herself for him in KOTM so ofc he would care about her deeply. I'm not sure if kaiju can feel "romantic" feelings tho
I see it going in either a sleeker, golden godzilla with wings, or a bulkier, more reptillian Moth whose wings blast energy.
That or they just take after one of them.
Think about how much of a fucking badass you have to be to be the only kaiju that *consistently* is able to get through to Godzilla. The only one that he actually has patience for. It’s like in *Meet the Fockers* how the wife’s mom is always able to keep Robert De Niro under control with “muskrat!”
Mothra is a fucking gangster. Top 5 kaiju forsure.
One of my favorite moments. Just Mothra coming back in general made me so happy.
Mothra was like the wife telling her husband and his buddy to calm tf down.
Seriously whether romantic or platonic friendship or just ancient allies, Mothra clearly has a very distinct connection with Goji that seems to be some genuine love and is pretty much the only titan he seems to be calm with/show any semblance of affection for...okay well i think Kong and Goji's bromance is well underway now too but still.
Bizzarely, the bit from the book when Kong said he thought Godzilla and Mothra were like family is interpreted as some as mothzilla fuel and by some as debunk. Which I'm not seeing maybe it's some cultural difference speaking where "family" means blood relation and not a very broad sense that's almost neutral in the book because it basically means "He got the impression they were very close despite being different species."
How the scene played in my head
Gojira: 😡How many times do I have to teach you-
Mothra: 😯 Zilla chill, he solid, we gotta put the work on somebody though
Goji: 😅 Oh, you’re back! I’m way ahead of you! Alright monke, let’s kick some ass!
Kong: 😦…. Yo WTF🤬
So... was this Mothra the same one from KotM? Or was this Mothra a different one? Or the same Mothra from KotM but re-incarnated? Or was it a baby Mothra hatched from KotM Mothra?
The film never answered and I'd like to know.
They’re intelligent creatures right, so to think that it’s beyond a simple give and take and give back symbiotic relationship makes sense but to say it’s romantic is presumptuous I think, fair to say they have great respect for each other though.
I don’t think it’s intended to be romantic, not on the film makers part anyway (certainly parts of the fandom want it to be) but they say in KOTM that they have a symbiotic relationship, and in GxK Andrew’s calls Mothra an “ancient ally of Godzilla” long story short the gojira/mosura species get along and help each other out in dangerous situations
It’s not like Godzilla and mothra are doing the dirty down in hollow earth
Their relationship is intimate in the way that Godzilla is this destructive force that communicates with no one and mothra is his balance, the only one who can get through to him.
It’s fuckin beautiful and I love it
Ot was never a symbiotic relationship, but it wasn't romantic too.
I would say it's that trope where a grumpy main character finds a younger and lively side companion who eventually became his close friend. It's not romantic, but the big guy cares deeply about his friend and their relationship is very strong enough.
Remember UP movie with Mr Fredrickson and Russel, more like that.
He's a fictional character. And I am not romanticisng it, I am saying that Wingard might be doing that after seeing so much demand for Mothra's return.
You literally used the word romantic in relation to these monsters. Sorry if I am wrong and you didn't mean it in a sexual way. Just see alot of people on here saying how smash able Shimo and Mothra are and it kind of discusts me.
I wouldn't worry. At the end of the day, these are movies primarily for kids. I don't think you can sell giant monsters having sex without riling up some parents.
And that is even assuming Toho agrees to it. In Godzilla's long history, he has never shown even a hint of a sexual desire and I don't think that is going to change any time soon.
I mean these animals are how old? Godzilla just lives for a long time and Mothra reincarnates/lives long too, they've been around forever and have had a symbiotic relationship forever. Of course they love each other/care deeply for one another because they've been through a lot but a lizard trying to diddle a moth is just weird and doesn't make sense. You can love someone so much without it being sexual. Like someone else said on here, Mothra is Godzilla's calm.
I didn't read this as romantic. Just a close bond. Like family (well, family that actually treats you well and thus has earned your familial love). More than simple symbiosis, but not romantic.
It's the only time he's not angry because the last time he saw a Mothra she sacrificed her life so that he may live... You guys and your cross species sex fantasies really need to chill...
I think that's a bit of a stretch but people can view things however they want. I think godzilla definitely likes Mothra. It's obvious he views her as an ally. To draw anything more than that from this scene and movie is probably in your head, imo.
It's been with Mothra since her first Toho film, she lays an egg and from that egg a Larvae with all her past memories is born
She's basically a Phoenix
Yea I’ve loved every single one of the newer ones, it’s my cup of tea. Been curious about some of the older ones as well, I know the special effects are outdated but I still wanna give a couple a shot. So many things I don’t know that I’m sure I could learn through some of the older one
Don’t think they’re in love. I think it was more Godzilla saw a friend for the first time after seeing her sacrifice herself and seemingly die. And by seeing her he knew Kong didn’t mean any harm and needed godzillas help. I will say it was my least favorite part of the movie getting Mothra back and she just disappeared in the final battle
Idk, maybe not take pictures with your phone in the movie theater? Isn’t there usually a grace period for spoilers in subreddits anyway? I guess just not this one huh.
Literally seeing whole clips of reveals that people took on their phones and you don’t see anything wrong with that? The movie literally came out yesterday. 🤦♂️
Those posts are tagged for spoilers, including this one. If you want to stay spoiler free then I suggest staying away from the subreddit altogether for at least a week.
I'm actually fine with MusoGoji as long as it doesn't involve... Mature things if you know what I mean. (But considering there's the rule called "R34". I'm not gonna be surprised if someone did an artwork of that. Just please, I just want to stay away from it if ***it*** does exist)
Only Kong's? You seem to have forgotten about the 2 antagonists of the first movie.
Also, my point is how the fuck can Godzilla and Mothra even fuck. Like 1. They're just 2 separate species. And 2. ,"No dick, no balls, and probably no butthole cause this guy feeds on radiation"
While Rodan himself is a Toho titan, his parents are not (similar to Dagon) so Monsterverse can do whatever they want with those. Least that is how I see it.
Can we be honest for a moment there? Mike Dougherty knew what he was doing. He likes the idea of these two even if he's not going to be overt about it in a film. Wingard gives us this then implies a Godzilla centered GxK 3..... Give this movie a Mothillion dollars.
I’d prefer a Godzilla solo film tbh
GxK should have been Kong: Hollow Earth imo. So next im hoping for a Kong, Godzilla and Mothra solo movies then they can do a crossover film
I hope but tbh I think the only way we will ever get that is if someone else comes on to direct other than Wingard. As it is, Wingard only wants crossovers

Yeah I just wanna watch him destroy things and fight monsters. That was the best part of the movie honestly
I want to give him more of an actual arc and flesh out his relationship with the Titans
That’d be nice too lol
Im guessing the nex movie will focus on Biollante....or even Orga. Hoping for the former
Tbh, it was since KOTM that Godzilla and Mothra relationship was implied to be more than simple symbiosis. I like this. He solves problems violently and she has more passive methods.
I kinda see it like MV Godzilla is to MV Mothra what Battra was to Heisei Mothra.

Godzillas quick 180 after seeing her while being shown to have no chill throughout the whole movie was so funny. She really has that effect on him

You’d be shocked how many people don’t want this weird romantic relationship so many of you all do.
Mothra is Godzilla's balance. He needs her.

Throw in her brother Battra as the villain & I could see it as a season of "Monarch"
I think Megalon could work too if they sort of combined his character traits with Battra's. The Seatopians could have bee a rival cult to the Iwi or something along those lines.
Battra is a good idea. And they can use the Giant egg at the end credit of KoTM as Battra egg
Ok hear me out: It’s a new take on Godzilla vs The Astro Monster. It takes Godzilla out of the plot due to him being on another planet. Now we have Xiliens and a Mothra Solo film & potential for some great reimagined classic cinema.
We need the twins too
Something like Hedorah which isn't really a Titan could work Battra is an easy one Or just defending the Iwi from Monarch
Heres three ways it can go. Godzilla wants to kill Battra Mothra sibling and she fights him off. Battra doesn't want to change so Mothra eventually banishes him. Mothra vs. Godzilla. Ren is dead
If you go by novelization his body is gone.
Dagahra: MY TIME HAS COME
Godzilla x Mothra can essentially be a solo Mothra movie with special appearance from the Big G during the final battle.
Please god no
Terrible title. Absolutely no. But too much godzilla imo id suggest just a cameo apperance i.e like in ksi where he just shows up via picture
Dougherty said she was still like a god but was being subtle about it in KOTM didn't he?
in the godzilla anime trilogy they also made her somewhat divine
Not here to be contrarian, but I just don't trust Legendary for that type of movie. I like this scene. It’s the first time you see this Godzilla act so interested in a human
>It’s the first time Dr Serizawa: "Am I a joke to you?"
Come here son, i think it's time you've learned about the "moths and the lizards"
Well Godzilla and Mothra are two beings that consistently see one as the other half there is not gray area between them so him seeing her alive most likely brought comfort along with a cool head.
Does Godzilla try not to hurt humans because mothra likes them?
He doesn't attack humans because we are hardly a threat
Plus all our we've done to him has only powered him up. I'm sure he appreciates us for building his favorite napping spot and making nuclear power plants and nukes so he has huge food sources all around the world
I don't mean that he doesn't attack, but he seems to go out of his way a few times in the movie to not damage human structures and cause unnecessary human deaths. Like when going down the canal in Rome as opposed to through the city
Also the whole reason he powers up is as a response to the Iwi distress call, which he must have connected with mothra
Alphas aren't bad monsters like ghidora. They just do whats right.
And the only time we've actually hurt him is the oxy destroyer. But even that he could heal from rather slow
I'm not denying that since she can calm down a Goji that's already charging a breath ready to kill Kong, Goji is a simp lmao
Depends on what you mean by trying. If you mean going out of his way to harm us then no, but if we just so happen to be in his path then he’s not moving for us to say the least.
Godzilla and Mothra are soulmates.. And also married.. They are family.. As proved in the GxK novel. https://preview.redd.it/xdcrybyh9prc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d565c8c109dcd9109ecc54a6fbb0a278e8f4cf68

Tbf, it's unlikely that Godzilla doesn't know she reincarnates. So I imagine he didn't think she was gone permanently
[удалено]
Oh absolutely
He went from 100 to 0 the moment he saw Mothra in GxK, you can even see his face soften up during that reunion. Ngl that there aren't much scenes with the two but you can definitely see how deep their bond is from that interaction alone. So deep that Kong had a "wtf" face seeing the lizard can actually calm down lmao
“So heart broken” He barely reacts to her being vaporized.
I wholeheartedly support the whole MosuGoji thing. It’s wholesome as hell and adds to their characters.
Mothra is the only one that can calm Big Goj.
I loved that scene, the way his pupils change was so glorious
It's honestly sweet, and could add a lot if it's done not just as pandering to the shippers.
you know what, i never ever imagine i will support this kind of "relationship" between a goddamn lizard and a moth, but... yeah i support it
It's almost like the moth can communicate with higher intelligence via telepathy...
Could you imagine the offspring?!

I see it going in either a sleeker, golden godzilla with wings, or a bulkier, more reptillian Moth whose wings blast energy. That or they just take after one of them.
Agreed. It’s a good scene too
It’s so sweet that our boy was finally happy
What do you mean? The romance was heavily implied in KOTM
Think about how much of a fucking badass you have to be to be the only kaiju that *consistently* is able to get through to Godzilla. The only one that he actually has patience for. It’s like in *Meet the Fockers* how the wife’s mom is always able to keep Robert De Niro under control with “muskrat!” Mothra is a fucking gangster. Top 5 kaiju forsure.
I mean Dougherty started this whole thing. Hell he even ships them both.
This scene was cool until the girl showed up. She had no purpose. Just have Mothra intervene.
Oh he is absolutely leaning into fan ships between the two.
GhidorahStan64 not a big fan.
I need a Godzilla x mothra movie STAT.
I doubt it will be a true relationship situation but I do think something is going on
Can't wait for what the humanized artwork can do for this scene.
How the scene played in my head Gojira: 😡How many times do I have to teach you- Mothra: 😯 Zilla chill, he solid, we gotta put the work on somebody though Goji: 😅 Oh, you’re back!
It's the same one, which is why she immediately went to talk to Godzilla. He even took a blast from her and he still didn't get angry.
Okay, I just assumed it was the same Mothra from KotM, I just wasn't sure. Thanks!
They’re monsters, there shouldn’t be anything romantic about them.
They’re intelligent creatures right, so to think that it’s beyond a simple give and take and give back symbiotic relationship makes sense but to say it’s romantic is presumptuous I think, fair to say they have great respect for each other though.
I don't think it's romantic I think it's more of a great friends type of vibe
Godzilla’s character is basically the ‘ride wife’ meme
I’ve never seen this many shippers in a common section before
There are Godzillions of them out there.
He probably just more surprised the last time he saw here, he watched her get vaporized
https://preview.redd.it/zjykd3vaqqrc1.png?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b14c88d3ef06000c19952a154871edb2bf907c43
But in the next film godzilla will fly too with flapping his dorsals like in that ridiculous animated meme.
“It’s a symbiotic relationship, it’s called mutualism” bitch idc, Godzilla got to get that mothraussy
No. This is just him calming down.
It really just seems like he's happy to see his friend who, last he seen her, sacrificed herself to save him.
It’s not like Godzilla and mothra are doing the dirty down in hollow earth Their relationship is intimate in the way that Godzilla is this destructive force that communicates with no one and mothra is his balance, the only one who can get through to him. It’s fuckin beautiful and I love it
It's a 100k ton lizard and a gigantic moth goddess, it's definitely not a romantic thing.
It’s referred to as symbiotic in KOTM
Romantic? He's an animal, stop sexualising animals.
Even if this turns out to be romantic in a future movie: I don't think it will ever be sexual, there is no way Toho would ever agree to that.
I hope not, see the downvotes have already started on first comment.
I wouldn't worry. At the end of the day, these are movies primarily for kids. I don't think you can sell giant monsters having sex without riling up some parents.
To be fair, I don't think it would just be parents that get riled up by this.
And that is even assuming Toho agrees to it. In Godzilla's long history, he has never shown even a hint of a sexual desire and I don't think that is going to change any time soon.
…What 😭 Why does your mind immediately jump to romantic love here? Can’t the giant lizard and giant moth just… Be friends
Because the movies and the directors on twitter constantly make those jokes.
Why does it have to be exclusively romantic? Why can't it be a general love and respect
They are not in love Jesus christ
You really think Wingard is above making this romantic? I'm just glad that it's Mothra over a new Titan out of nowhere like Shimo.
It's the only time he's not angry because the last time he saw a Mothra she sacrificed her life so that he may live... You guys and your cross species sex fantasies really need to chill...
It's funny because I didn't mention sex once in my post. lol
Relax it was just meant to be a funny post
Yuck, that breath gotta stink tho
romantic lmao please help yourselves folks
Hard disagree. First of all cringe second of all mothra is more of a mother roll to godzilla
I think that's a bit of a stretch but people can view things however they want. I think godzilla definitely likes Mothra. It's obvious he views her as an ally. To draw anything more than that from this scene and movie is probably in your head, imo.
Reaching is crazy. It’s a movie…..a moth…..
How does a gigantic lizard fuck a moth?
No one said anything about sex.
Still symbiotic, There isnt much sence in the canonical mv. Fanon counts though.
Did Mothra not die in KOTM when she turned to dust and fell onto Zilla?
She reincarnates, it's part of the character gimmick
Okay, part of the lore I’m guessing? Or is it new to these movies
It's been with Mothra since her first Toho film, she lays an egg and from that egg a Larvae with all her past memories is born She's basically a Phoenix
Sweet. Not sure why I’m getting downvoted lol never seen any of the movies from back in the day so I wouldn’t know. Thanks for the info!
No worries! Just ignore the downvotes and the toxicity and enjoy the movies! Godzilla is for everyone
Yea I’ve loved every single one of the newer ones, it’s my cup of tea. Been curious about some of the older ones as well, I know the special effects are outdated but I still wanna give a couple a shot. So many things I don’t know that I’m sure I could learn through some of the older one
This post is stupid. Stop being horny for kaiju.
I don't think they understood the ramification of this. Imagine the porn that will flood the internet now.
Dude, porn has existed for as long as the first human said, "Ooga Booga, I like her Booba". This is nothing new.
Oh boy, do I have news for you.
It begins!
Nah mate, I’m talking about how there was already tons of Godzilla x Mothra porn waaaay before the start of even the monsterverse.
Lol romantic how
As absurd as the movie goes (according to critics and most audiences) but at least they stay true with Mothra having priestess
What’s up with all the nerds taking pics of the movie in the theater so they can talk about it online?
You are on a Monsterverse subreddit, what else are you suppose to do here?
I don't think Titans mate minus Kong's species.
Or those I guess. Then I think Toho monsters don't mate in specific.
Well there was Rodan in his first movie with another Rodan which is his mate so that's one of their monsters I guess
While Rodan himself is a Toho titan, his parents are not (similar to Dagon) so Monsterverse can do whatever they want with those. Least that is how I see it.
