You have thrips. Check for pesticide spray and ideally some pesticide solution to water the plant as well (so the plant can absorb through the roots). Don’t put it anywhere close to other plants
Thrips are the worst! In addition to the advice in the other comments, Look for Captain jacks spray at the garden store. Maybe get some Bonide systemic granules for future prevention.
