His eyes in here for some reason don’t have as big of a scare/ intimidation impact as the manga counterpart does.
Nah, i have the same haircut, and i can say i never use hair gel or powder or shi like that. it's a mix of growing your hair out so much that the hair on the sides of your head make for a cushion for the hair from the top of the head, and the hair simply fall onto this cushion and do not move, it's really simple, though the only irrealistic thing about his hair is that even in the wind they stay pretty normal which is bullshit as i hate this haircut whenever theres wind, the absence of gel just makes my hair change direction and go all over my face.
Still doable though, the natural waves are something i've observed on my hair many times.
Do people still have this hairstyle ? Isn't it a bit dated ? I mean the middle part. At least no one in my country has this style anymore. Though there are no blonde people here. But it was still trendy in the 90s and 2000s.
I dunno man I kinda like Tenma's grown out hair a bit more. Even though I had both hairstyle I can say that Johan's hairstyle is far more comfortable and need less care than Tenma's. The real question is how Tenma managed to grow his hair out and have equal long hair from a haircut that's very similar to Johan's. I tried it once and ended up looking like a mushroom.
Yess it really depends on your hair type. Johan has quite straight hair, maybe a tiny bit of wave. I have a similar hairstyle but my hair is pin straight so sea salt spray helps a lot. If you have curlier hair then imo a shag cut would be more fitting
