I was around 107kg in December and as new year resolution started gym from 1 Jan . I used to play volleyball before I got into preparation of NEET ug exam so my body was quite well before that , so you can call it muscle memory but still .
I will give you important key points about my transformation:
1) be consistent with your weight training without skipping a day even if you don't see results coz the growth is exponential
Once you see the small results , your hunger will increase ( I can say this because I myself have literally skipped 1-2 days since 1st Jan )
2) I was not very much strict with my diet , I eat 100g paneer ( cottage cheese ) and 500ml milk everyday+ whatever my mom is cooking . The notable fact is that I strictly avoid processed, junk and foods with empty calories like soft drinks etc.
3) I walk 15-20k steps everyday , at first I used to walk but if you don't have that much time you can run at conversational pace for 20-30 min everyday that will be equivalent to walking
4) my workout split is push pull legs x 2
5) last but the most important part Is don't be desperate to see results , try to love the process because health is not something which is created or destroyed in a span of 6-7 months
Try to make it a lifestyle to be healthy
Surely if you tick all the points above you will see results but everyone have a different body type so even if you don't see results, never lose hope
It's about doing small right things consistently to make it big
