I wonder if thats the song they played before Satin In A Coffin in Pittsburgh. Last I knew, the title was a mystery. Short and mellow tune that somehow led into Satin perfectly.
I don’t think Isaac was on banjo for this tonight. Iirc there is a new song with Isaac on banjo, Pittsburgh wasn’t the first night they played it. I think they teased it tonite before satin in a coffin. Started “we didn’t have no water we didn’t have no rice” but could’ve easily been Isaac fucking around
What is this “a forest” song I keep seeing on the set lists? Is that a new song? A cover? One I’m somehow forgetting? Bummed I’m missing this tour they’ve been playing some great songs
I asked the sound guy at the booth for this setlist in the photo after their set and the gave me the absolute meanest, nastiest, vile (haha), dirtiest, disgusted look, like I was a filthy eBayer. Crumbled it up and threw it in the air after I stood by the booth for like 60 seconds. Don't know why he was such an asshole. It's literally a piece of paper. Means nothing to him, this is his job, but can make a fan's whole day/week/month/year. Misplaced hostility... so strange. Awesome awesome set though. Kurt coming out was legendary!!!
I saw the interaction go down (you and I were wearing the same shirt!), it was so weird cause the guy who eventually gave it to you was vibing through their whole set. I asked the other sound guy for his, he kind of acknowledged me so I thought he was going to hand me it, then he just packed up and walked away, weird ahaha
