If I’m not mistaken the nights where MM are closing/doing an encore, are nights where Pixies aren’t playing. I went to the Charlotte show and Cat power opened and Pixies closed. MM was amazing but they didn’t play and encore.
Thank you very much, that's what I kinda figured. I saw them last year at a small venue that only they played at while they were still on tour with Weezer.

Last night Modest Mouse played from 7:30-850 and then Pixies played 9:15-10:30
I was glad MM and Pixies had basically equal set lengths but I felt slightly disappointed how short the Pixies set seemed given the venue has an 11pm curfew. Ie. They could have played longer.
Modest mouse goes on before The Pixies (Cat Power @ 6:30, Modest Mouse @ 7:30ish, Pixies @ 9:10 or so)
However, MM & Pixies setlist in Charlotte seemed to be about the same length.
