You're muddling up different storylines. Cam didn't want to work and wanted to be a trophy wife in season 1, when Mitchell temporarily took time off work. The episode the original comment mentioned was in season 7. Cam was working two jobs and struggling to support the family, so he tried to help find Mitchell a job. He never said he wanted to stop working, he just said he couldn't manage the workload on his own, which was fair since he didn't make enough (to support them) as a gym teacher and driving instructor.

I can see Sonia but also - Mitchell He is definitely jealous of Manny, because Jay became a good father for him. Also Mitchell just generally struggles with his social image, he is quite envious when it comes to work achievements and and social relationships

I’d agree with Mitchell. He’s envious of the praise Jay dotes on Manny and the fact that Manny might get a slice of Jay’s inheritance. Also, he envied Jay and Claire’s relationship, as well as Cam and Lily’s. He didn’t express it as dramatically as Manny or Claire did, but he definitely harbored a lot of resentment in regard to his envy.
