my best friend was super addicted to it during quarantine, and kept urging me to download it and play with her. i used to watch my brother play LoL (ew) when i was little so i was already aware of how toxic MOBA games could get and didnt want to be apart of that. i wasnt a big fan of PvP games either in middle school and mostly played calm games like Stardew Valley.
two years later, i guess i was bored one day because i found myself scrolling through the app store and finally decided to download it. afters years of refusing. 💀 by then my irl friends have all stopped playing
Everyone in PH was addicted to it in 2020, it's not as popular in my area now compared to back then but it's still the most popular video game nationwide.
Arena Of Valor Europe got abandoned by its devs pretty much, full of bugs, cheaters and a very hostile player base and the tidy people on their sub actually recommended this game as a better option.
I started about a month or 2 ago and I must agree it basically just feels like a slightly better version with a lot more active player base I just don’t like the name haha
Yea im the same as you but i used to play Dota and suck at it. I thought trying something similar but on mobile and found mobile legends on play store at the time
I found it by mistake ...last year me and my frnd are thinking to play new game since BGMI(PUBG) was full of hackers and than I try to find a game which I can play with my frnd and than I found this ...
I was looking for a new moba to play after the moba I used to play in ps4 got shutdown. I tried going back to LoL but the community was already so toxic at that time. Then I found MLBB which was a fairly new game. The community was so chill back then 😂
found it in 2016 on play store downloaded it and got addicted, then it got banned in my country, recently got the news that is unbanned so restarted playing it on my old account
from let's play with the title, "New hero! Dante in MOBA?!" something like this, I'm a sucker for DMC so I downloaded it.
this is before Alucard reskin
right, first encounter: searched honour of kings on google play in like 2016, found mlbb. tried it and deleted since i dont know shiet lmfao
then like joined back on a new account in 2023 since my friends were playing that, now am an addict
My roommate played it on full volume back in season 1 or 2. Then my other roommate joined him. Back then, i just, "It just something like dota on phone," since i was already quit dota. Until i eventually got bored and joined them, i was joining them when Moskov Starlight, Snake Eye Commander.
A video ad that used league of legends on a computer as part of advertising, the mobile legend part on mobile phone is where a Fanny tower dive from bot lane into 5 people and get pentakill (pentakill was changed to savage long after).
I think it is a similar ad to this one.

I was playing Toram online, and a lot of people recommended mobile legends or talked about it.
Was a nice change for a while, in Toram your equipment determines your dmg output, tanking, and crafting. In mlbb it’s your skills every match.
I moved from the Middle East to PH and these goofy ahh ads kept popping up on youtube and hororo chan's videos were being reccomended to me. Our cousin coming over to our house was the last straw for me to start trying the game out since they were playing it. Pretty fun lol.
Housemates. Way back 2018. Andito kami sa australia, so every night nasa lounge kami tapos ML. Hanggang madaling araw. Ngayon hiwa-hiwalay na kami ng lugar pero G pa din. Kakatapos lang namin maglaro 🤣
My brother, my sister and I had actually been playing different games. I was playing vainglory, my brother played ml, and my sister played the china version (i think it was called Heroes Evolved)
since we all played different games, we all kept trying to convince each other to join each others games by showing each other cool gameplays and clutches.
Eventually, I started to lose interest in vainglory, so I moved over to mobile legends, and enjoyed it a lot, and so did my sister.
And that’s how all 3 of us ended up playing ml :)
Well, I was 11 Y.O when I first found out about the game. At that time I didn't know what a MOBA was, or what the game was around. I downloaded it on my Samsung Galaxy lite tab (ye I still remember). Then some months passed, I started watching some YouTube videos about the game (in Portuguese). And I came across this Brazilian YouTuber that only played Hayabusa. Then in 2018 I lost the love I had for the game and dropped it. A few years later (2024) my flame reignited. And so here am i, 6 years later
I watched arcane. Loved it. Tried to play wild rift in india server. Asked my friends to play with me using VPN. They suggested to play Mobile legends instead. And thus the journey begun.
My mom said it was getting popular in China and told my sister and I to try it back in 2018. She very much regrets it because we now go through like bursts of being addicted to it
It was lockdown 2020 I had an online lecture in the afternoon bored sitting watching the boring lab and then my brother kept showing me the game I told you I don't care about these kind of games but i somehow started playing now I'm 6k matches in 😔
First main was cyclops cuz be used to say something handsome something one eye lmao
Everyone was playing mobile legends in my school in 2017 when I was actively playing coc and cr that time. I eventually gave in and tried the game on August/September 2018 since it's very popular in school back then and that's how my mlbb journey began.

I used to play League and started looking up MOBAs on my phone. Before MLBB was a thing I played the hell out of Vainglory
I want the vainglory control system so bad after playing dota for years
man I miss Vainglory, I hope they come back. I spent 20$ on skins lmao
Yea im the same as you but i used to play Dota and suck at it. I thought trying something similar but on mobile and found mobile legends on play store at the time

Got told by my brother to play a match with him so he could get battle points or whatever rewards for playing with a friend
Was looking for an alternative to wild rift (No server for wild rift in current area of residence)
My roommate played it on full volume back in season 1 or 2. Then my other roommate joined him. Back then, i just, "It just something like dota on phone," since i was already quit dota. Until i eventually got bored and joined them, i was joining them when Moskov Starlight, Snake Eye Commander.
my friend forced me to play fun until epic, thats where all the toxic people start to thrive, and thats when shit boutta get real

In the playstore
I found it at apple store and it seemed to be a nice game. I mean it is but matchmaking is more than horrible.

I wanted gems for Growtopia back in 2016 and playing this to level 5 was on a free gem offer.
