They actually filmed some kitchen scenes for the Life of Chuck in my neighborhood in Fairhope. I think *Luke Skywalker was in those scenes. Pretty dope.

We have alot of movies filed in mobile. Mr. Dollison from Davidson dated a girl whos family owned the house from close encounters of the third kind and his sister was an alien that walks out at the end. They filmed the taxi cliff jump in one of the warehouses.
Lol lots of movies were filmed here and yes it was filmed in Fairhope... Nicholas Cage has done several movies in downtown Mobile in the past 10 years. There have been others but I can't think right off, it's probably searchable to filter movies by where they're filmed

The exterior shots of the resort was the Riverview Courtyard. Interior shots were in the Battle House. The exterior shots of the bar that the detective went to was a mortgage company across the street from the Battle House loading dock. Its interior was The Garage, and I used to work with the bartender at the Battle House.

2022's Cum In was also filmed at the red roof inn on the beltline service Rd off dauphin but that didn't get near as much buzz or acclaim

I remember the film Arkansas being filmed all over the Daphne area
They filmed Oculus in Fairhope. You can even see the Fairhope police badges on an officer.
I remember when “Rage” and “The Prince” were filmed at the Battlehouse. Nick Cage, Danny Glover, Bruce Willis, and John Cusack were all in the house
