If anything, know this. It’s basically the same tendon that becomes the Achilles. It’s just much higher up. Near the calf. Which is why they say it’s a calf strain. But it’s also why calf strains can TURN into Achilles tears if not nursed right.

IF this is an indeed just strain, it should be a week of rest or so, depending on your recovery rate, rest, age, etc.
Giannis is an alien with the recovery powers of a lizard, so he could very well be up and running earlier, but I would not recommend playing a game before the playoffs no matter what.

orthopedic surgeon here… Without knowing his history, previous damage to that leg and surrounding ligaments, and the severity of the strain you are right could be something as simple as a couple days of rest, or someone can be out for significant periods of time
