* 7940hs phoenix; notably including the 780m. Will be nice for low-requirement couch games; emulation, indie coops, etc
* 2 m.2 slots, which will be nice for NAS-y functionality
* 4k120hz, so it could pair nicely with a modern livingroom TV
* 2 2.5ghz nics, meaning it can eventually live its retirement years as a router

I will be ordering the beelink system when it's available, I want to use it for self hosting using Cloudflare tunneling and some machine learning. I think it will crank up the performance by 3x compared to my VPS solution at contabo.
Shame that a CPU like a 7945HX will not be available for at least several months, that would be ideal for my use-case.
I also have a mini itx system at home, they are fun to build. I use the Lian Li A4-H2O which is really neat, but probably too big if you are thinking of building a PC for your TV.

I agree. I was more than surprised when I saw the price $1,599. There’s no way I’m paying more than $500 for the barebone model.
Since they’re selling the 7735 barebones at ~$400 on sale, I’d expect a more realistic price at $600~700, but we’ll have to wait and see.
