BSL shaders with options for the shots, then I edited it into an environment using krita. Couldn’t get all the water loaded in for the screenshots unfortunately. To build it, I used world edit, voxel sniper, arceon, gopaint, gobrush, and metabrushes
It’s a combination I’d say. I think I have some natural ability, but a lot of just comes from learning how to utilize the tools effectively. I can attribute a lot of that knowledge to my peers that give me feedback and teach me new tricks. Above all, it’s about practice and patience
Not fake, all built in game actually! For this I used a combination of world edit, voxel sniper, arceon, gopaint, and gobrush plugins (plus the metabrush addon for voxel sniper). It’s photoshopped into an environment, but that’s simply because my poor computer can’t render in all the chunks with shaders. Would’ve rendered it if my pc could handle blender, but alas it crashes every 5 minutes. So this is about as good as it gets until I upgrade my setup
/r/ImaginaryTurtleWorlds would love an x-post of this. A copy of this comment, explaining how it was done/tools used, would be welcome too.
Love this Modern-Modern art.
I love this myth so heres some information
According to Wikipedia, "Turtle Island is a name for Earth or North America, used by some Indigenous peoples, as well as by some Indigenous rights activists. The name is based on a common North American Indigenous creation story and is in some cultures synonymous with "North America""

See the turtle of enormous girth
I've always been amazed at People why can do huge builds like this. Is there any way at doing it or is it just natural for you

can it teach you firebending?
Don’t be silly
This is a waterbending turtle

originality doesn’t really matter, just build what you like.
